  PT.Serasi Autoraya (trac) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang layanan transportasi yang menawarkan jasa dalam penyewaan unit kendaraan baik kepada perusahaan, individu, maupun layanan pengemudi yang profesional. PT.Serasi Autoraya (trac) masih mempuyai kendala dalam Infrastruktur dan aplikasi SI belum mampu mendukung proses bisnis dan kurangnya implementasi SI membuat kinerja menjadi tidak effisien. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah belum cukup memiliki sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kecakapan dalam melakukan pengelolaan sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi secara baik. Dalam penyusunan kerangka kerja perencanaan strategis sistem informasi menggunakan pendekatan Ward and Peppard. Analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal bisnis menggunakan Value Chain analysis dan SWOT analysis. Sedangkan pemetaan portofolio aplikasi menggunakan McFarlan Strategic Grid. Pada akhirnya penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah rekomendasi untuk dikembangkan diantarnya Pengembangan Website Trac, Pengembangan aplikasi SAP, Pengembangan Aplikasi sistem infromasi layanan pelanggan, Aplikasi sistem infromasi aset dan Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Eksekutif. Dengan harapan untuk memberikan kejelasan arah dan mendorong perusahaan untuk terus berkembang baik dari aspek SDM SI dan pengembangan aplikasi portofolio yang akan mendukung kelangsungan proses bisnis di PT.Serasi Autoraya (Trac).

Semarang City Public Works Department is a state-owned enterprise that works in the area of public services in the city of Semarang. Most of the technological conditions in the Public Works Department are still in manual data management, which is hampering business processes from going well. Therefore this research was conducted to design an Information System at the Semarang City Public Works Department using the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method which includes a SWOT analysis and Value Chain analysis. The existing framework in the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method can help align the data architecture and application architecture to get the expected results, which is achieving the business objectives of the City of Semarang Public Works Department so that business functions can run by the desired business processes. This research resulted in several proposals for the development of Information Systems and Information Technology in organizations including the development of several applications in the next 5 years.

PT.Virgina Estetika (Farina Beauty Clinic) merupakan organisasi atau perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penyedia jasa pelayanan perawatan kulit wajah dan tubuh. Untuk bisa mendapatkan keunggulan bersaing dan dapat bertahan dalam persaingan yang ketat, strategi yang dapat dilakukan Klinik kecantikan adalah dengan differentiation dan cost reduction. Salah satu hal yang bisa dilakukan untuk cost- reduction adalah dengan menjadikan proses bisnis yang ada di Klinik Kecantika menjadi lebih efisien, salah satu hal yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk efisiensi adalah SI/TI. Secara garis besar penelitian ini merupakan upaya untuk membangun suatu perencanaan strategis sistem informasi beserta portofolio aplikasi di PT. Virgina Estetika (Farina Beauty Clinic) yang bisa memberikankontribusi yang optimal, terintegrasi dengan baik dan inovatif yang bisa menyatukan keseluruhan aspek pendukung dalam pencapaian strategi bisnis klinik untuk meningkatkan nilai kompetitifnya dalam jasa pelayanan kesehatan. Dalam penyusunan kerangka kerja perencanaan strategis sistem informasi menggunakan pendekatan Ward and Peppard Model dan dalam mengevaluasi penjabaran perencanaan strategis sistem informasi dan strategi bisnis menggunakan Balance Scorecard IT. Beberapa metode analisis seperti, Value Chain Analysis, SWOT Analysis, PEST Analysis dan Five Force Model Analysis digunakan untuk menganalisis lingkungan bisnis internal dan eksternal. Strategic Grid McFarlan Analysis digunakan untuk memetakan portofolio aplikasi. Pada akhirnya penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah rekomendasi untuk organisasi berupa prioritas pembangunan yang terbagi menjadi dua hal- hal terkait, pembentukan unit SI/TI dan pengembangan portofolio aplikasi yang akan mendukung keberlangsungan proses bisnis PT. This chapter focuses on the need, requirements, implementation, challenges, and impact of the goods and services tax on the Indian economic scenario. The major stakeholders in the process are the Government of India (GOI), the individual states, the industry, the businesses, and the biggest tax reform since independence of India in 1947. Often considered as overdue, it seeks to remove the various shortcomings and the loopholes in the existing system of indirect taxation in the country. The GST bill saw more than a decade of political and economic upheaval in the country. Subsequently, it became an act on 8th September 2016. The various strategic analysis approach (SAA) of the GST mechanism (e.g., SWOT analysis, value chain analysis, PEST analysis, and SAP-LAP analysis) give an in-depth account of the various issues and potential challenges in the implementation of the GST.

PT. Dian Hardesa merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak Bidang Kontraktor Jasa Konstruksi yang berfokus pada Pelayanan Mekanikal, Elektrikal dan Elektronik. Infrastruktur jaringan intranet yang terhubung dengan beberapa personal computer, notebook, printer, mesin fotocopy dan aplikasi Microsoft Office untuk menjalankan proses bisnis perusahaan. Dengan infrastuktur teknologi dan sistem yang ada, terdapat kendala perusahaan seperti divisi stock barang yang terjadi kelebihan material, pengawasan sumber daya manusia yang mengakibatkan karyawan melakukan manipulasi data presensi dan penyajian laporan keuangan yang mengakibatkan tidak akuratnya data pada perusahaan. Dengan menggunakan Metode Ward and Peppard dan tools SWOT Analysis, Value Chain Analysis, McFarlan Strategic Grid Analysis, Five Force Model Porter Analysis, Critical Success Factor Analysis. Perencanaan Information System Strategy pada PT. Dian Hardesa menghasilkan rekomendasi portofolio sistem informasi keuangan, sistem informasi karyawan, sistem informasi absensi, sistem informasi ketersediaan barang, sistem informasi pelanggan, sistem informasi supplier, sistem informasi mitra kerja, sistem informasi manajemen aset, website perusahaan, sosial media perusahaan, knowledge management system, contructor planning application, sistem penunjang keputusan tender dan  keputusan rekruitmen karyawan.

In the current era of globalization, IS and IT are utilized to be able to compete and increase company productivity. Information system strategic planning is one of the keys in achieving the target expected by the company. NUSATOVEL PT has implemented an information system, but there are still some parts that have not implemented the information system. The information system strategy planning model uses the Ward and Peppard method with SWOT analysis, Value Chain analysis, and Mc Farlan's Strategic Grid. By using this method various factors that affect the company, both internal and external are analyzed to get a formula that is the basis for preparing a new IS / IT strategy in the form of an IS / IT portfolio, which can then be used as a strategic plan. Research using this method makes strategic planning for IS / IT that can provide recommendations or solutions to the development and implementation of IS / IT that is more effective and efficient for the company. The proposed information system strategy, namely Graphic Design SI, Customer Relations Manager SI, SI Services, can be implemented within the next 3 (three) years.

The performance of the local sub-sector of orange in Bantama, Kumasi should be improved. This study aims to improve the performance of the local orange value chain in the Bantama market using rich picture analysis, scenario analysis, cigar box analysis, stakeholders’ analysis, and SWOT analysis. The study suggests two strategic objectives, (1) the Bantama orange traders association (BOTA) coped with lack of storage facilities, which is expected that BOTA is linked directly to at least three major orange processors in Bantama by conducting stakeholders meeting between BOTA and orange processors, and a memorandum of understanding between BOTA and orang processors; (2) the local government promoted the orange industry of Bantama, which is expected that BOTA advocated to the local government for the establishment of market storage facility by preparing advocating plan by BOTA, and consultation meetings with local government.

Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah University is a private university that already has information system technology and information technology as an effort to improve the competitiveness of higher education. However, the existence of the existing information system is still not perfect so that work becomes inefficient. Therefore, this research was conducted to make strategic planning of information systems so as to increase the competitiveness of higher education institutions. The model used in strategic planning in this study is the Ward and Peppard model. The strategic plan is drawn up for a timeframe of 2 phases. The process begins with Internal and External Business Analysis through SWOT Analysis, Value Chain Analysis, PEST Analysis and testing of strategy results using the Profile Matching method which is the choice to provide an assessment of recommended information system applications. There are three aspects in conducting the assessment and evaluation, namely new aspects, develop and continue.

Small, medium to large companies in the computerization era is required to satisfy the customer needs. The existence of internet allow customer to receive information over the world. internet usage has been used by UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi in 2016, but there are no significant impact on production or number of agents. This study has three main objectives that include the following: (1) to identify the implementation of information system in UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi, (2) to analyze the needs of information system to improve the company’s competitive advantages and (3) to identify and recommend appropriate business development strategy. Analysis data was used in this study are value chain analysis, five competitive forces porter and SWOT <em>(</em>S<em>trengths, Weakness, Opportunities dan Threats)</em> analysis. Sample that used in this research was 2 respondents. This study showed that the use of information technology in UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi is not optimal. IFE score was 3,098 described that the strength owned by UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi can overcome it weakness fairly enough. EFE score was 3,339 described that UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi was good enough in responding the opportunity and minimize the threat. Score combination of EFE and IFE in IE matrix located in quadrant IV, grow and build. Strategy that fit to UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi was intensive strategy (market penetration, market development and product development). SWOT analysis produces 6 alternative strategy formula. Based on calculation in Quantitative Strategic Planning matrix, the most interesting strategy produced was increase marketing intensively and efficiently through online media.

The study was conducted to determine the value chain of Mokara orchids cut flowers in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City. Research data were collected by surveying 98 Mokara orchid farmers, 8 traders collecting flower branches, 8 Mokara orchid shop owners in Ho Thi Ky flower market. The study used descriptive statistics to assess the state of production and SWOT analysis to find out solutions for enhancing the Mokara orchid value. The results of the study showed that the average area for growing Mokara orchids was 0.33 ha per household. The average profit per 0.33 ha was VND 231 million per year. The value chain had 5 basic functions such as input function, production, collection, trade and consumption. There were 5 Mokara orchid value chains, corresponding to the value chain with 4 main trading channels. In particular, the trading channel for traders accounted for a high proportion (76.5%). The main source of selling price information came from traders (73.5%). Up to 55.1% of farmers believed that traders decided the purchase price. The compromise between farmers and traders on purchase price accounted for 32.7% and the rest of households (12.2%) set their own prices. Based on the results of value chain analysis, SWOT analysis was conducted to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of partners participating in the value chain, thereby proposing some solutions to improve the production efficiency of Mokara orchid cut flowers in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City.
