In present time the technological & computing evolution are promoted for new opportunities that will help to improve the standard of life between the new medical accomplishments, in particular and the standard of diagnostic evaluations. MRI is one of the imaging equipment for the diagnosis which has become more beneficial for technological development, because of this and due to the standard of a diagnosis manufacturer, that is one of the most engaging apparatus in the clinical application. The attentiveness in that pathology & in the general the encephalon picture analysis as the preventive diagnosis. The present research paper suggests the evaluation of the ability of ANN for the automatic identification of an ICVA by tissue images density obtained by MRI. In this examination the diagnosis and their medical reports were used to train the ANN classifier which extracted features from the given images. In this stage the ANN significantly contributes to the ICVA of MRI diagnosis aid, so since the test occurrence automatic identification of ischemic lesions that has been performed with the accuracy results that will be false positive and false negative.

2019 is a phenomenal year for the development of the Malaysian animated film industry as it has successfully produced two superheroes animated films in total. However, the animated film industry in Malaysia is still not competitive at the international level. This can be seen from the 17 animated films that have been produced from 1998 to 2019, only two superheroes animated films managed to get the attention of the audience. This is due to the lack of knowledge of the concept and function of the hero character in animated films. Therefore, the main objective of this paper aims to demonstrate how the Hero’s Journey narrative structure can be applied in BoBoiBoy Movie 2 (2019). This research method involves the use of video analysis tools namely Kinovea and Motion Picture Analysis Worksheet to explain on how the Hero’s Journey of this film conveys the storytelling. The results of this study found that each semicircle Hero’s narrative structure has an important meaning across from one half-circle to the other half-circle. As a result, it explains the concept of peace and chaos as well as stasis and changes in the narrative structure of superhero animated films. This paper will provide information to researchers on the importance and use of the Hero’s Journey approach to analyze superhero animated films.

This study investigated the viability of quantifying the affinity between aggregate and bitumen by means of different imaging techniques. Experiments were arranged in accordance with the rolling-bottle test, as indicated in UNI EN 12697-11, “Test methods for hot bituminous conglomerates—Part 11”. Digital image processing (DIP) techniques have only recently been used for such quantification. The data gathered with a multi-sensor optical platform equipped with VIS–NIR and SWIR spectrometers were compared with DIP outcomes. Data were processed using the unsupervised ISODATA and the supervised parallelepiped algorithms. The exposed aggregate index (EAI) and the bitumen index (BIT) were calculated to retrieve the bitumen percentage coverage of different mixtures. The comparison with the results obtained employing the traditional 6, 24, 48 and 72 testing hours reveals the possibility to implement a standardized analysis methodology combining digital and hyperspectral imagery to highlight potential inaccuracies deriving from the visual interpretation.

Although art has been subject to psychological research for some time, the artwork itself received little attention in quantitative research. The rating instrument for two-dimensional pictorial works (RizbA) fills this gap by providing a tool for formal picture analysis. This study validates the questionnaire on 294 images created by 147 non-artists. In an online test-retest study the material was rated by 880 (T1) and 475 (T2) experts using RizbA. Statistical quality criteria, Principal component analysis and indices of factor similarity were computed. The overall test's capacity of differentiation yields a partial eta-squared of .28 (T1) and .33 (T2). Test-retest reliability is .93. PCA reveals an eight-factors solution. Tucker's coefficients of congruence range between |0.82| and |1.00|. Intraclass correlation coefficients are .81 (T1) and .84 (T2). Results indicate generalizability to amateurs' works. As the first reliable tool for picture analysis, RizbA allows a more detailed examination of art and its correlates.

AbstractProfiles in the widely used phenomenon of mobile online dating applications are characteristically reduced to condensed information mostly containing one or a few pictures. Thus, these picture(s) play a significant role for the decision-making processes and success, supposedly holding vital meaning for the subjects. While profile pictures in social media are omnipresent and some research has already focused on these pictures, especially selfies, there has been little attention with regards to the actual self-presentation when mobile online dating. In this paper, we show the results of a reconstructive serial analysis of 524 mobile online dating profile pictures investigating how subjects present themselves in the context of a mobile online dating app. This context is highly specific and characterized by continuous and dichotomous judgments by (unknown) others, unseen competition, and permanent validation of the self. Despite the conceivable multitude of possible self-presentations, our analysis led to eight clear types of self-presentation. Contemplating on subject’s good reasons for presenting the self as one of many and not as varied and unique when mobile online dating, we refer to the discourse of the private self (Gergen, The saturated self: Dilemmas of identity in contemporary life, Basic Books, New York, 1991; Rose, Governing the soul: Shaping of the private self, Free Association Books, London, 2006) and to (Holzkamp, 1983. Grundlagen der Psychologie. Frankfurt a.M.: Campus.) concept of restrictive and generalized agency in a context of socially constituted norms.

Abstract In empirical art psychology and creativity research most studies focus on the psychological correlates of art. Only few go beyond treating artworks as categorical data (e.g. abstract vs. representational) and consider artworks in detail. In part this is due to the lack of reliable quantitative measurements. The rating instrument for two-dimensional pictorial works (RizbA) makes a difference to current research designs. The current study validates the questionnaire on a representative sample of contemporary visual art, consisting of 318 images depicting works by artists from different cultural areas dated to the 21st century. In a randomized test-retest design, the pictorial material was rated by 506 (T1) and 238 (T2) art experts using RizbA. Statistical quality criteria, such as item difficulty, capacity of differentiation, test-retest reliability, and intraclass correlation were calculated. Principal component analysis (PCA) and indices of factor similarity were computed. The overall test’s capacity for differentiation yields partial eta-squared of .31 (T1) and .40 (T2). Test-retest reliability is .86. PCA reveals an eight-factor solution, which is largely consistent across both measurement points. Tucker’s coefficient of congruence ranges between |.71| and |1.00|. Intraclass correlation coefficients are .86 (T1) and .73 (T2). This study indicates generalizability of the questionnaire to contemporary artworks. Although a conclusion on the factors’ structure cannot be drawn yet, results are very promising. As the first reliable quantitative tool for formal picture analysis, RizbA allows more detailedexamination of visual art and its psychological correlates. This broadens research methodology by giving art greater weight in art psychology and creativity research.

The pandemic state of COVID-19 caused by the SARS CoV-2 put the world in quarantine, led to hundreds of thousands of deaths and is causing an unprecedented economic crisis. However, COVID-19 is spreading in different rates at different countries. Here, we tested the effect of three classes of predictors, i.e., socioeconomic, climatic and transport, on the rate of daily increase of COVID-19 on its exponential phase. We found that population size and global connections, represented by countries’ importance in the global air transportation network, are the main explanations for the early growth rate of COVID-19 in different countries. Climate and socioeconomics had no significant effect in this big picture analysis. Our results indicate that the current claims that the growth rate of COVID-19 may be lower in warmer and humid countries should be taken very carefully, risking to disturb well-established and effective policy of social isolation that may help to avoid higher mortality rates due to the collapse of national health systems.

This article outlines the state of the art in picture analysis as it has been developed in the trajectory of reconstructive methodology. Analyzing pictures in their own right—that is, by adhering to the particular affordances of the medium “picture”—has strong implications for qualitative research some of which are discussed in this article. With regard to content, this discussion revolves around questions pertaining to bodily self-presentation in mass and social media. On this basis, the article concludes with a praxeological model of communication that offers a guideline for social research which is clued-up as to its own media and, thus, takes into account that meaning in pictures is constructed differently than meaning in language.

Lately, skin malignancy is viewed as one of the most Perilous types of diseases found in People. Skin malignant growth is found in different sorts, for example, Melanoma, Basal and Squamous cell Carcinoma among which Melanoma is the most capricious. The discovery of Melanoma malignant growth in the beginning period can be useful to fix it. PC vision can assume a significant job in Clinical Picture Analysis and it has been demonstrated by many existing frameworks. Right now, we present a PC helped strategy for the location of Melanoma Skin Malignant growth utilizing Picture Preparing instruments. The contribution to the framework is the skin sore picture and afterwards by applying novel picture preparing systems, it investigations it to close about the nearness of skin malignancy. The Lesion Picture investigation devices checks for the different Melanoma parameters Like Asymmetry, Boundary, Color, Diameter (ABCD) and so on by surface, size and shape investigation for picture division and highlight stages. The extricated highlight parameters are utilized to characterize the picture as Ordinary skin and Melanoma malignant growth lesion.
