PT. Krakatau Information Technology is a Krakatau Steel Group company based on Electronic Data Processing (EDP) Human Capital Division is a division at PT. Krakatau Information Technology has the task of providing / recruiting employees according to company needs, and this division carries out the task of accepting and guiding work practice participants in accordance with their vocational training work in the industrial worldafter the participants have attended the training for 30 days or 3 months, participants will get a certificate as a sign of carrying out industrial work practices, in the Human Resources Department, PT Kitech's division of making certificates for Industrial Work Practices activities at present is still conventional by using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Publiser software to manage certificates. The process of making certificates takes a long time to make and there are still many staff who cannot manage and print certificates properly.To overcome this problem, a system was designed that could help to do the job quickly and precisely so as to facilitate the printing of certificates. In designing this system the tools used include Flowmap, Unified Modeling Language (Use Case Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Squence Diagrams, Activity Diagrams), Relationships Between Tables, File Structures, Design of Input Output and Software used are MySQL and Web-based applications, The results of this study are the application of certificates used to facilitate the Human Capital Division in accelerating certificate printing to be more effective and efficient.

Industry Work Practice or commonly called the PRAKERIN is an activity that must be followed by every vocational students during school as a form of implementation of science or as an addition to an insight into the working world they will face in the future . But obstacles that was often faced by student is in the search company locations the industrial work practice . From the problem, we need to make a web based geographic information system (GIS) that provides information about the location of company in Tangerang. In search of the location or place, it would require a geographic information. Nowadays, people mostly use Google Maps application. To overcome the obstacles mentioned above, the authors usea SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Thread) to identify the obstacles encountered in greater detail.To create a model or design of an expert system, the authors use UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a tools. and taking data sources form map's that author got from Google Maps API,location’s data sources form SMKN 6 Tangerang selatan that has been cooperated with the company. The author hopes the student can easyly access the location place the industrial work practice .

Department of Information Technology Padang State Polytechnic growing rapidly, the number of students and the amount of data will increase too. However, these conditions will bring complex problems to the department to manage it in quantitative and qualitative way.  How complicated the problems faced when there are a lot of data that needs to be processed, and if it goes wrong it needs a long time to find, fix and change it. To minimize the errors and redundancies in processing the data, the department requires an academic information system. This system will manage student grades, final assignment and job training data at Information Technology Department. This web based Academic Information System was develop by using object oriented concept and JAVA especially J2EE technology as programming language and MYSQL Server as database. This system also design by using UML(Unified Modeling Language).

Abstract The 5R Action Plan is a method for organizing, managing, and scheduling activities as a whole. To help do this, we need an application that is able to help the company control the workplace conditions. PT Bimasakti Karyaprima intends to update the 5R repair control system application more specifically in the action plan application, where they were previously still computerized to become a computerized application because the reasons for the old system of the 5R Action Plan activities can only be done by certain parties financing and scheduling that have not been certainly. a long time to send information. This study aims to analyze the problems that occur and then propose a system design at PT Bimasakti Karyaprima. Researchers collect data by observing, interviewing, and studying literature. The analytical method used by researchers is the PIECES analysis. Researchers use the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a tool for creating model designs and system designs. The results of this study are a repair control application system that is created using the Codeigniter framework with PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. Finally, researchers use (QA) Quality Assurance Testing to test the functionality of the application system that researchers created.

  Pawon Kue is a small home industry which sells various cake and rice box products. Pawon Kue was using books for recording orders and product selling. The method was used since the company established. However, the company experienced difficulities when using this method. The process to find how much the profit they got in a day was not easy, it also needed long time to find certain information, and there were big probability they could lose the recording books. Because of them, the author and the team developed a web based application for helping them in recording sales and stock listing. The team used waterfall model in software enginering model and used Unified Modeling Language in design and system analyst stage. After the testing stage, the research team found the application could help the owners for listing stock and product easier than before.

Information technology is closely related to wide area networks. BINUS University pays much attention to the development of information technology. Yet, it has not applied all concepts of information technology. There are still activities carried out conventionally such as meeting activity. This is the main attraction of the authors to implement a new system. The purpose of this research is to analyze and design an e-meeting application of Computer Science Department of BINUS University. By using this application, user will be easyto conduct meeting without location barrier. This research is using analysis method on literacy study, as well as analysis on current meeting process through interview with expert and user to detect current problem. Design method usies software engineering concept, by Unified Modeling Language and Entity Relationship Diagram. UML notation explains the overview and the detail of e-meeting system. Relational database explains data structure used in this system. The result of this research is a development of e-meeting web based application to help improve meeting activity to be more effective and efficient. E-meeting application has many helpful features as used in regular meeting, as well as administration panel to control and manage user of this application.

Employees as one element in a company have rights and obligations to the company. One of the rights for employees is leave or permission for a certain time. The obligation of a company is to provide such leave or permission. In the process of applying for leave or employee permits so far, many use conventional processes. Conventional here means still using a form in the form of a sheet of paper leave or permission and must be sent to various parties for approval. This will take a long time and is not in line with the Go Green Program that is being carried out by many companies. Reduce, Re-use, Recycle and Replace are the four concepts of the Go Green program. Replacing the application for leave or permission that has been using a form (paper) by using a web-based application program is a step forward by the company to implement the Go Green concept. Web-based application programs in addition to reducing paper usage also do not require large physical data storage areas. This can be realized by making a web-based leave application which is certainly easier in terms of access to all employees. Meanwhile, data storage can be stored in cloud storage media. In this study, an application design will be made using UML (Unified Modeling Language) to be used as a reference during development. UML provides many diagrams, but in this study only a few diagrams were used. The results of the study indicate that application design using UML can facilitate communication between stakeholders, can make it easier for programmers to translate into programming languages. Using UML can reduce application creation errors and speed up completion.

Information technology is growing rapidly now, with technological advances everything can be achieved and reached very practically. Today many people spend their time using mobile phones / smartphones to view various online media, and one of them is advertising. PT Akila Trijaya is a property company, the company sees that currently the promotion method has not been carried out effectively, therefore the Company wants to utilize information technology in marketing its housing products known as Akila Residence in Serang City. To meet these needs, researchers took the initiative to design a web-based property information system created using the PHP programming language with the Mysql database. The researcher analyzes the current system using the SWOT analysis method. In the system design process, researchers use the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to create a marketing system design. The system testing method used is black box testing. This research has produced a web-based property marketing system that can help PT Akila Trijaya's to sell the Akila Residence.

ABSTRACT         Mentawai Fast is a company engaged in the field of transportation services. The problem is that there is no web-based ship ticket booking information system, ticket purchases are still manual or a passenger must go to the agent to buy tickets and requires a long time. In this system, it starts with analyzing the current system, which is done by output design, input design, file design. The research method used is SDLC (System Devolopment Life Cyle) with stages a). Planning, b) Analysis, c) Designing Systems and Software, d). Implementation, using design tools, namely UML (Unified Modeling Language). With the design of this ordering information system, it is expected to provide maximum service to customers and minimize errors in data processing. Information technology is currently growing rapidly. Computers as information technology tools play an important role in solving data processing problems. Therefore, many companies are using information technology to improve enterprise data management. One of them is GAPEKSINDO Association. It is the organization of companies in construction services. In collecting data and processing business entity data, the companies will apply for Business Certificate, Gapeksindo Association in Papua have the problems, they are data collection and data processing is still using Excel. The weakness use Excel is the data storage can be accidentally deleted and search data will take a long time. Based on the problems above, information system is needed to support Papua Gapeksindo Association in collecting data and processing business data. It can provide convenience in collecting data and processing business data, ensuring security in storing data and it will be stored in database. This information system based on web by using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) design method. The development method using the Waterfall method and the testing method using Black Box.

This research was aiming to produce a management information system for Diploma Companion Certificate (SKPI). The target of the research to be achieved is the existence of an information system that can be used to manage the filling and printing of Companion Certificates. Management information system This Certificate of Companion is made to be applied in the Informatics Engineering Study Program S1 Faculty of Computer Science, University of Kuningan. This study discusses how the process of designing and developing an information system for managing Diploma Certificates of Completion in the S1 Informatics Engineering Study Program. The absence of an application or information system for managing Diploma Certificates is a serious problem that must be considered. Managers of the S1 Informatics Engineering Study Program find it difficult in the process of making and filling Diploma Companion Certificates for their graduates. In the absence of a management information system, a Diploma of Companion Certificate, the process of making and filling with Certificate ofCompanion Certificate will take a long time. The method  used in this study is Rational Unified Process (RUP). There are four stages in the use of this RUP method, namely the stages of inception, elaboration, construction and transition. The design model used in this study uses Unified Modeling Language (UML). The testing process is carried out using the Black Box Testing. Therefore, to solve these problems, an innovation is needed In the management ofa web-based Diploma Companion Certificate. It is expected that this information system can help and ease the Study Program in managing Diploma Companion Certificates.
