Using the multiscale normalized partition function, we exploit the multifractal analysis based on directly measurable shares of companies in the market. We present evidence that markets of competing firms are multifractal/multiscale. We verified this by (i) using our model that described the critical properties of the company market and (ii) analyzing a real company market defined by the S&P500 index. As the valuable reference case, we considered a four-group market model that skillfully reconstructs this index’s empirical data. We point out that a four-group company market organization is universal because it can perfectly describe the essential features of the spectrum of dimensions, regardless of the analyzed series of shares. The apparent differences from the empirical data appear only at the level of subtle effects.

Economic development in Indonesia has progressed significantly from year to year, so has the development of national companies either in the form of a single company, joint venture, or group company in the form of PT, CV and so on. The development referred by this research is the development of group companies consisting of holding companies and subsidiary companies where the leadership system of the group company is centralized so that it has the potential to arise an abuse of authority from the holding company, one of which is illegal acts arising from the legal relationship between the holding company and its subsidiary within the group company. This can be seen in the case decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia No.89 PK/Pdt/2010 between PT. Effem Food, Inc and PT. Effem Indonesia against PT. Smak Snak regarding violations of distribution activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of liability from the holding company to the subsidiary in the event of an illegal act in the group company based on the decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia No. 89 PK/Pdt/2010. Based on the Judge's assessment and consideration of the evidence of losses suffered by the plaintiff, namely PT. Smak Snak, against the bad faith of the defendants, namely PT. Effem Food, Inc. and PT. Effem Indonesia, causing the panel of judges to place joint liability on PT. Effem Food, Inc. and PT. Effem Indonesia for their illegal actions as the holding company against PT. Smak Snak as a subsidiary. This decision is a manifestation of the application of piercing the corporate veil to the holding company and its subsidiary due to the ownership of PT. Effem Food, Inc. over 90% shares of PT. Effem Indonesia, regarding to this case, PT. Effem Food, Inc. acting as the holding company of PT. Effem Indonesia which exercises to control over the operational activities of its subsidiary. This paper deals with the replacement of middle wave transmitters in Slovak Republic. The original transmitters were based on class C vacuum tube fundamentals and were produced by the Czechoslovakian group company Tesla. Class C transmitters were transmitting reliably to this day, however, the lifespan of these transmitters was nearing its end, moreover the need for a better quality analog modulated signal has pushed for its replacement and therefore they were replaced by modern, highly efficient class D transmitters, while utilizing the original infrastructure consisting of antennas and power inputs. Due to differences in characteristic parameters, however minor, this caused some significant problems, with impedance matching. To resolve these problems, it was necessary to implement a newly designed IMU (Impedance Matching Unit), while also securing a lightning strike protection. This paper has proposed a possibility of lightning surge protection of middle wave transmitters. The original protection implemented with the installations of class C transmitters was consisted only of multiple spark gaps. This kind of protection may prove inefficient using new class D transmitters. The device described in this paper has been designed and successfully implemented on a middle wave transmitter in Čižatice. This transmitter is transmitting with 5 kW power on the antenna with the carrier frequency of 702 kHz. Since the implementation of our device, the transmitter reports no failures and continues to transmit safely.
