The data warehouse is a very famous solution for analyzing business data from heterogeneous sources. Unfortunately, a data warehouse only can analyze structured data. Whereas, nowadays, thanks to the popularity of social media and the ease of creating data on the web, we are experiencing a flood of unstructured data. Therefore, we need an approach that can "structure" the unstructured data into structured data that can be processed by the data warehouse. To do this, we propose a schema extraction approach using Google Cloud Platform that will create a schema from unstructured data. Based on our experiment, our approach successfully produces a schema from unstructured data. To the best of our knowledge, we are the first in using Google Cloud Platform for extracting a schema. We also prove that our approach helps the database developer to understand the unstructured data better.

ABSTRACTThe micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs) sector has a very important role in generating the economy in the region. East Java is no exception. The contribution of MSMEs in improving the economy of East Java province is the largest compared to other sectors. East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa at the Briliant Preneur 2021 event that the contribution of MSMEs to gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in East Java even reached 57.25 percent. So that the MSME market can be wider overseas, then export training for MSME actors in East Java needs to be held. The activity "Workshop on MSME Export Opportunities Through Digital Markets" was carried out to facilitate MSMEs players in exporting their products. This activity, attended by approximately 50 representatives of MSMEs in East Java, consisted of 3 stages of activity, the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation monitoring stage. The committee carried out internal coordination at the preparation stage and provided a sheet filled with business data for MSME actors. The workshop was conducted in two (2) sessions at the implementation stage. The first session was the provision of material related to the use of the digital market to export East Java MSME products. In the second session, the participants could immediately practice the provided material and report the results. Monitoring and evaluation of implementation are carried out by filling out activity evaluation sheets, both those carried out by resource persons on the implementation of the event and MSME actors on the implementation of the event. All workshop participants were able to follow well. However, there were several obstacles during the practice session, such as using foreign languages to create e-commerce website accounts and making product descriptions. Keywords: exports; digital market; MSMEs.

PurposeCurrent possibilities of accessing business data by regular users usually involve complicated user interfaces or require technical expertise. This results in situations when business owners are separated from their data. The aim of this research is to apply an innovative approach leveraging conversational interfaces to tackle this problem.Design/methodology/approachThe authors examine the current possibilities of accessing business data by business, users with an emphasis on conversational interfaces employing a chatbot as an alternative to traditional approaches. The authors propose a new concept relying on a guided conversation, and through experiments with a real chatbot and database, the authors demonstrate the benefits of the proposed approach.FindingsThe authors found out that the key to the success of our approach is a decomposition of complex database queries and their incremental construction in conversations. This also enables natural discovery of the domain model through constantly provided feedback. Based on the experiments with a real chatbot, the authors demonstrate that defining conversation flows and maintaining the conversation context is a crucial aspect contributing to the overall accuracy, together with keeping the conversation within the defined limits in its certain parts.Originality/valueThe authors present a novel approach using natural language interfaces for accessing data by business users. In contrast to existing approaches, the authors emphasize incremental construction of queries, predefined conversation flows and constraining the conversations, when necessary.

This work uses tools recently designed to conduct analyses and proposals around the cultural development of medium-sized cities. The Cultural and Creative Cities Monitor model, or CCCM, is first applied to the 81 cities in Spain with between 50,000 and 100,000 inhabitants. We also refer to the UNESCO Culture/2030 Indicators, specifically indicator 8 (Cultural companies), to investigate whether cultural dynamism is related to business vitality in those cities. Our observation of the 29 CCCM indicators and the C3 index, which synthesizes cultural performance, is explained, and these data are complemented with cultural business data (on assets, benefits, and jobs) from a sample of 13,204 firms. The C3 index values reveal significant differences in the cultural and creative performance of the selected cities according to their location (metropolitan or non-metropolitan) and their administrative rank. Moreover, when comparing the C3 index with the indicators on business activity, evidence indicates a clear positive relationship between cultural dynamism and firm vitality. These results support the contribution of culture to the sustainable development of medium-sized Spanish cities and further establish the suitability of the tools used to assist cities in designing appropriate cultural policies.

Information technology is currently growing rapidly. Computers as information technology tools play an important role in solving data processing problems. Therefore, many companies are using information technology to improve enterprise data management. One of them is GAPEKSINDO Association. It is the organization of companies in construction services. In collecting data and processing business entity data, the companies will apply for Business Certificate, Gapeksindo Association in Papua have the problems, they are data collection and data processing is still using Excel. The weakness use Excel is the data storage can be accidentally deleted and search data will take a long time. Based on the problems above, information system is needed to support Papua Gapeksindo Association in collecting data and processing business data. It can provide convenience in collecting data and processing business data, ensuring security in storing data and it will be stored in database. This information system based on web by using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) design method. The development method using the Waterfall method and the testing method using Black Box.
