This article examines the factors affecting human resource productivity in government organizations. Due to the endless innovations and changes that we are facing in the world, successful organizations have taken special measures to use all the intellectual and practical capacities of their employees. In today’s world, attention to human resources as the axis of change and the basic element of any organization that operates under the influence of information and communication is more and more felt. Also, the idea of empowering, motivating and involving human resources is considered as one of the strategic and vital programs of managing. In this article, the factors affecting the increase of human resource productivity and the factors that reduce the productivity of human resource in government organizations have been fully studied.

This research analysizes the factors affecting the business expectations of human resources in entertainment and event management. The research results have showed that of the 5 factors affecting the human resource expectations of businesses in entertainment and event management, the factor “professional knowledge” has the biggest impact on the expectations of the businesses. Next to it are “attitude”, “skill” and “ability”. The factor “fundamental knowledge” has the least influence on the expectations of the businesses.

Human Resources are important assets, Accounting for human resources Human Resource Accounting is an acknowledgment that people constitute human capital and human assets. The economic theory of human capital is based on the concept that humans have the skills, experience, and knowledge which are forms of capital, which are called "human capital managementthat must be owned in the world of work. Although now the world is getting more sophisticated but if there is no Human intervention, of course the machine will not work well. As in the world of work the Consumer Loan Area Of Manado of course, is in desperate need of Human Resources, in achieving  loan credit. Consumer Loan Area Manado customers must maintain and balance the development of local Human Resources. To reach the target, of course, the Consumer Loan has its own way of empolying Human Resources called sales. Sales work to product sales and must understand marketing management in Consumer Loansfor example, collaterals from each registered developer. And sales gave developers an offer so that developers would also want to join the Bank Mandiri Consumer Loan In Manado. However, the sales must also obey and understand the regulations in the Consumer Loan.and if Human Resources work well in the company where they work. Then each gets a profit, for example. Sales get a lucrative bonus from the company because it has helped to achieve the target of Home Ownership Loans. The present study was conducted to "identify the impact of meritocracy on human resource productivity from the perspective of police academies". This research is a descriptive-survey research in terms of purpose and methodology. The statistical population of this study is all lecturers of Kabul Police Academy. Morgan table was used to determine the sample size, which according to the population of the sample required 121 people. The instrument or the device of this study is a complex questionnaire. The reliability of this questionnaire was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.85. SPSS software was used to analyze the data using regression analysis. The results of this study show that meritocracy has a significant effect on human resource productivity, it also the effect of meritocracy components (knowledge, consciousness, abilities, skills, attitudes, education, training, and retention) on productivity. Human resources are influential and the hypotheses are confirmed.

The Internet and the World Wide Web are demonstrating the growing influence of information and communication technologies in various aspects of the economy. Regardless of the barriers of time and distance, newly introduced information highways are linking the world countries together, their societies and cultures contributing effectively to globalization. One of the growing trends in societal development and growth is investment in people. Therefore, the learning process is a priority issue that information and communication technologies are serving trying to upgrade and leverage human resources to become more competitive as we approach the 21st century with all its challenges and opportunities. This chapter covers an initiative that was launched in Egypt in 1997 that targets the investment of Egypt’s young generation, the kids of the present and the leaders of the future. This initiative is part of a national plan that aims at leveraging the capacities of Egypt’s human resources. The focus of the chapter will be the learning process, the Internet and the presence of the first Egyptian Web site for children on the Internet “Little Horus.” With the introduction of the Internet since 1993 in Egypt, today there are around 250,000 Internet subscribers, among which are a growing community of schools, teachers and children. As the Internet grows in magnitude and capacity, perceived to reach over one million subscribers in the coming five years with an estimated 20 percent under the age of 16, the Internet and the World Wide Web could play an active role in the education process in Egypt. The chapter, therefore, will demonstrate the “Little Horus” initiative, the steps that were achieved so far, the plan for the future and the building blocks that represented the critical success factors for the realization of this initiative with relatively modest resources.

Information and communication technologies (ICT) have been implemented mainly in government organizations, where e-government has become prevalent. The previous research focuses mostly on e-government adoption from the perspective of citizens. However, there is a scarcity of research conducted from the viewpoint of the employee. This study tried to identify and predict the factors that influence an employee to adopt technology implemented at the workplace by focusing on acceptance technology theories. The unified theory of acceptance and usage of technology (UTAUT) and Task-technology fit (TTF) using relevant findings in this review. The attempt to conduct a comprehensive explanation and analysis of the existing literature up to 2018, to understand the current situation of e-government implementation. Reviewing procedures were done by reviewing articles on e-government and related work by using indexing databases “web of science & Scopus. Finally, the results of this paper are the factors that make employees directly or indirectly adopt e-government.

In this article certain pillars as basics are presented being necessary to develop Web services (W3C, 2007) supporting human resource (HR) processes like assessing, hiring, modeling information systems, staffing, and so forth; by the help of these Web services. Current HR information systems in general do not adequately support tasks related to cross-organizational or global skills and competence management. In the following, the topic is presented which relates to knowledge management especially to “communities of practice,” as well as related topics such as e-skills and ICT (information and communication technologies) professionalism; the latter currently being broadly discussed by experts in Europe.

This chapter intends to explore such new trends and new practices on HRM, analyze which of them can be employed and which are more appropriate for an optimal management of workforce diversity and to obtain a competitive advantage for companies in the global economy.
