The purpose of this paper was to ascertain the nature of the relationship between strategic human resources information system and workers’ adaptive performance in deposit money banks in South-South Nigeria. The research design adopted for the study was the correlational design. The population was comprised of 120 management staff from 5 tier-1 deposit money banks in the South-South region of Nigeria. Data were generated using the questionnaire. The Spearman’s rank order correlation was adopted in assessing the correlation between strategic human resources information system and measures of workers’ adaptive performance – adaptive learning, creativity and worker flexibility. Findings show that strategic human resources information system contributes significantly towards adaptive learning, creativity and worker flexibility. It was therefore concluded that organizational actions and decisions that anchor on and utilize strategic human resources information system drives and enhances outcomes of adaptive learning, creativity and worker flexibility, thus leading to workers’ adaptive performance within deposit money banks in the South-South region of Nigeria.

PurposeTo empirically study the direct and mediating relationships between blockchain technology adoption strategy (BCTAS), electronic supply chain management diffusion (eSCMD), entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and human resources information system (HRIS) in Egyptian banks. This paper aims to connect the dots and show the relationships linking these related constructs after the emergence of this breakthrough blockchain technology.Design/methodology/approachThe authors have undertaken a thematic review of relevant multidisciplinary business management literature and then developed a conceptual model. This model was examined through adopting a mixed-methods approach, through which 300 quantitative questionnaires were filled by information technology (IT) staff at 12 banks in Egypt utilising a snowball sample. Besides, 20 qualitative interviews were carried out with international and Egyptian blockchain experts for exploratory and explanatory purposes. The suggested hypotheses were tested using structural equation modelling.FindingsThe results revealed that EO affects positively and significantly BCTAS and HRIS. BCTAS affects positively and significantly both HRIS and eSCMD. Concerning the linkage between external/supply chain and internal/organisational information diffusion, HRIS has a positive and significant effect on eSCMD. The direct EO–eSCMD relationship is not supported. Yet, indirectly, BCTAS mediates significantly EO–eSCMD and EO–HRIS relationships. Further, HRIS mediates significantly the indirect BCTAS–eSCMD relationship.Practical implicationsThe findings of this research shed light on the benefits and challenges of adopting BCTAS within emerging markets in general and Egyptian banking in specific, which can support an effective and efficient decision-making process undertaken by strategic and functional banking managers with EO in similar emerging economies.Originality/valueConceptually and empirically, it is the first article that investigated direct and mediating EO–BCTAS–HRIS–eSCMD relationships in a promising banking industry of an emerging market. It solved an interdisciplinary research puzzle by piecing together the relevant contemporary literature on production, operations and SC management, entrepreneurship, HR management and strategic technology adoption.

Keamanan dalam suatu sistem tentunya sangat dibutuhkan untuk menjaga integritas data penting yang tersimpan dalam sistem tersebut. Oleh sebab itu untuk menjaga integritas data ini bermula setelah sistem tersebut terkoneksi dengan jaringan internet. Integritas data tersebut digunakan oleh dua perspektif yaitu penyelenggara dan pengguna. Salah satu sistem yang digunakan oleh perspektif tersebut yaitu Human Resources Information System (HRIS) atau sistem penginputan data karyawan pada perusahaan PT. XYZ . Ada beberapa metode yang dapat menganalisa keamanan informasi sistem ini, tetapi di dalam penelitian ini hanya menggunakan metode SQUARE yang akan di gunakan untuk mencari celah kemanan system. Dengan adanya masalah tersebut dengan menggunakan metode SQUARE dapat mengetahui celah keamanan sistem dan melihat seberapa aman sistem terhadap serangan yang kemungkinan terjadi dan memberikan rekomendasi yang dapat mengatasi kelemahan sistem dengan melakukan pengujian dan melakukan beberapa observasi terhadap system. Hasil analisis yang telah di lakukan dengan metode SQUARE, sangat membantu dalam menganalisa dan mengetahui celah atau kelemahan sistem yang dapat merusak sistem sekaligus memberikan rekomendasi terhadap kebutuhan keamanan sistem yang bertujuan untuk menjaga availibilitas dan kerahasiaan serta integritas sistem.Kata kunci — Keamanan, SQUARE, HRIS

Information technology is currently a technology that is widely adopted by almost all organizations and is believed to be able to help increase the efficiency of ongoing processes, including in educational institutions. IT Governance offers various solutions, innovations, and changes to the company's business, however, the application of information technology must be in accordance with the company's business objectives. The key to entering the world of global business is a qualification that includes skills, knowledge and experience combined with international certification for global recognition. The application of information technology must be tailored to the needs of the institution in order to achieve institutional goals. This research was conducted to conduct an assessment and evaluation of the governance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) at the Nurul Fikri Integrated Islamic School, Depok. Knowing this condition will make it easier to take action to improve HRIS governance, use the Cobit method and focus on the PO and AI domains. The implementation of HRIS governance at the Nurul Fikri Integrated Islamic School has been carried out even though it is still not running optimally because it has reached the expected level of maturity. The maturity level of the HRIS governance at the Nurul Fikri Integrated Islamic School is at level 2 (Managed Process) for both the PO and AI domains.

This research has purpose to find out and investigated the role of HRIS implementation, motivation and competence to improve the employees performance at PT. Artamulia Tatapratama. The research method used quantitative methods with causality approach. The population and sample were amounted to 190 employees. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). And This research was revealed that 1) HRIS implementation had significant beneficial impact towards employee performance, 2) Motivation had significant positive effect on employee performance, 3) Competence had a remarkable reaction over employee performance, 4) HRIS implementation had significant beneficial influence towards motivation and 5) HRIS implementation had significant positive reaction to competence.
