The teaching process requires a set of principles on which it is based in order to achieve what is necessary, regardless of the methods employed. However, the exceptional situation that the world is currently experiencing following the spread of COVID 19 has imposed profound changes and even upheavals at the level of teaching methods and practices which have transformed in a way. As a result, the majority of teachers also wonders and worries mainly through Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to communicate with the student and transmit information to him. Consequently, several difficulties, concerning the provision of ICT and their mastery, the mode of carrying out this type of teaching, the organization of time ..., had repercussions which impacted the mental health of the teacher. And upset his psycho-sociological balance by causing him a set of psychological disorders such as: stress, anxiety, frustration ... So to what extent the COVID 19 could have affected the mental health of the teacher during his practice of distance education?

Developments in information and communication technologies have reached an all-time high. These improvements have accelerated the transformation of higher education milieus on all sides. Accordingly, higher education institutions have begun to be delineated by these technological developments, activities, and practices. This technoculture era has started a new interaction among communication technologies, teachers, and learners. Herein, transhumanism regards changes in societies through these technological interactions and transformations. The worldwide technological transformation is approximating all societies and cultures to Marshall McLuhan's notion of a global village day by day as a consequence of the technology paradigm. The heydays of the developments in technologies affect all human beings at all points from living, learning, communicating to eating and even thinking styles. Taking these points into account, this chapter will explore how these variables may influence the online distance education milieus in terms of technoculture and transhumanism perspectives.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is increasingly being used to support the process of academic teaching in the higher education sector. However, it is imperative to understand the causes for minimal utilisation of ICT tools by female academic teaching staff in their teaching process, resulting in gender inequity in technology. The research examined the correlation between ICT integration in the teaching process by female academic teaching staff in the higher education sector in Mauritius and the factors that could improve such integration in line.  Futures thinking methodology was used for this study to address policy, strategies and actions to support appropriate futures. It comprised an evaluation of the sources and causes of change to map a probable future and a preferable future. The future thinking methods included signalling, horizon scanning, future wheel analysis, alternate futures framework and determining scenarios.  As a result of the research, recommendations were made to assist policy makers and decision makers to develop evidence based policies to address gender inequity in the use of technology in higher education.

The modern system of higher education requires the use of the latest information and communication technologies (ICT) for the thorough organization of the educational process and comprehensive coverage of effective methods and means of teaching in universities. By virtue of its specificity, the crowdsourcing model of searching, analyzing, collecting and interpreting information has always been more complementary to the business sphere, where it is required to reduce the cost of processing a large amount of data by many participants in the process. But in recent years, this methodology has begun to spread to the education sector, which has its positive and negative sides. Crowdsourcing is one of the least common and little-researched teaching methods for attracting ICT in the modern educational space. The article describes the main definitions of the concept of “crowdsourcing”, highlights the methods and means of its application in the system of modern higher education, analyzes the positive and negative aspects of the use of crowdsourcing in the educational space of universities, suggests ways of assimilation of crowd technologies with teaching philological disciplines. Selected areas of application of crowdsourcing have advantages over traditional models of research procedures in the teaching of philological disciplines in higher education institutions (lower cost, higher speed or productivity, etc.). Crowdsourcing opportunities for the organization of auxiliary research procedures during teaching philological disciplines should attract the attention of applied and academic researchers. This type of crowdsourcing application meets the need to work with a growing amount of data and can be effectively implemented using existing ICT.

Palavras-Chave: Educação a Distância. Palavras-chave: Formação de professores; Política educacional; UNESCO.We aim to understand the education policies for UNESCO teaching work that through the discourse of education throughout life, fragments and lessens the teacher's training of basic education, into higher education. This is done throught distance education, enabled by Information and Communication Technologies. Such guidelines, have not been sufficient to ensure a training which helps to change the deplorable picture of basic education in Brazil. We conclude that the alternative would be the training for human emancipation, in order to build another sociability. Keywords: Teacher's training; Educational policy; UNESCO.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are the major driving forces of globalised and knowledge-based societies of a new world era. They will have a profound impact on teaching and learning for two decades to come. The revolutionary change which is taking place in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), has dramatic effects on the way universities carry out their functions of teaching, learning and research, particularly on the creation, dissemination and application of knowledge. These developments pose unprecedented challenges to higher education institutions (HEIs) in developing countries particular in South Africa as South Africa is viewed as the leading country on the continent.

Information and telecommunication services are currently a full-fledged resource for social development compared to traditional resources. The growth of the level of scientific and technological progress has led to the incredibly fast development paces in the sphere of information and communication technologies, which has a significant impact on the development of the economy. On the basis of a thorough analysis of the sectors of information and communication technologies and components of the ICT development index, the article substantiates the need for accelerated digitization of the majority of enterprises of different spheres of economic activity with the aim of qualitative development of Ukrainian economy in order to increase its competitiveness in the world. This is explained by the fact that information and technology represent the main economic resource in the period of formation of information society and digital economy, and enterprises of the sphere of communication and informatization are a catalyst for social and economic development of the country as a whole. Using a methodological toolkit of the theory of systematic and correlation-regression analysis, an economic-mathematical model of the development of the sphere of communication and informatization in the regions of the world and individual countries of the world is constructed. It is based on the existing pattern of leading development of the communications sector, but takes into account the degree of economy dependence on the ICT development, which in some regions and countries is 100%. This is due to the approaching mass availability of ICT services in some countries in these regions. On the basis of the constructed model, the forecasting of GDP PPP per capita was carried out, which showed faster rates of growth of the country’s economy with the growth of the development level of the sphere of communication and informatization and accessibility of telecommunication services. In turn, the availability of telecommunication services is influenced by the digital skills of society and the level of their prices, which has necessitated determining the dependence of GDP PPP per capita on prices for communication services of countries with varying degrees of socio-economic development. This makes it possible to identify reserves for improving the productivity of individuals while increasing the availability of telecommunications services.
