Opinion mining, also known as sentimental analysis, is the analysis of sentiment (emotion, affection, experience) towards the target object. In the present era, everyone is interested to know the opinions of others before making a decision or performing a task. Hence, it is necessary to collect the information (features) from relatives, friends, or web. These opinions or feedbacks help them to decide their action. With the advent of social media and use of digital technologies, web is a huge resource for data. However, it is time-consuming to read the data collected from the web and analyze it to arrive at informed decisions. This chapter provides complete overview of tools to simplify the operations of opinion mining like data collection, data cleaning, and visualization of predicted sentiment.

The application of scientific principles to inform practice has become increasingly common in professional sports, with increasing numbers of sport scientists operating in this area. The authors believe that in addition to domain-specific expertise, effective sport scientists working in professional sport should be able to develop systematic analysis frameworks to enhance performance in their organization. Although statistical analysis is critical to this process, it depends on proper data collection, integration, and storage. The purpose of this commentary is to discuss the opportunity for sport-science professionals to contribute beyond their domain-specific expertise and apply these principles in a business-intelligence function to support decision makers across the organization. The decision-support model aims to improve both the efficiency and the effectiveness of decisions and comprises 3 areas: data collection and organization, analytic models to drive insight, and interface and communication of information. In addition to developing frameworks for managing data systems, the authors suggest that sport scientists’ grounding in scientific thinking and statistics positions them to assist in the development of robust decision-making processes across the organization. Furthermore, sport scientists can audit the outcomes of decisions made by the organization. By tracking outcomes, a feedback loop can be established to identify the types of decisions that are being made well and the situations where poor decisions persist. The authors have proposed that sport scientists can contribute to the broader success of professional sporting organizations by promoting decision-support services that incorporate data collection, analysis, and communication.

Abstract : The recognized sexual orientation in Indonesia is heterosexual. This makes gays often get discrimination from people who are causing gay difficulties in interacting and seeking sexual relationships, so they should find ways to interact safely. Qualitative research with case study approach conducted in Surakarta aims to find out the utilization of social media in finding gay sexual relation. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted with in-depth interviews with gay as the main actors and documentation of recording interviews, screenshoot chat and gay activity in social media. Data analysis was conducted with the basis of four activities: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification using source triangulation. The results showed that social media became a safe enough tool for gays in searching for sexual relations. Gay feel their identity is more awake when interacting in social media. Social media is also instrumental in expanding the network of gay friends, this is considered quite important because gays assume that the more friends they have the greater their chances of getting sexual relations. Gay has a special trick in order to attract the attention of the same social media users by installing exciting status, installing photos and videos with seductive poses, and posting location information for easy access. Like no human is perfect, using social media to search for sexual relationships of gays also has some weaknesses. Nevertheless, social media has remained the main vehicle of most gays in Surakarta in search of sexual relations.
Keywords: Gay, social media, exploitation, sexual relations.

AbstractDevelopment and dissemination of the information technology throughout the world, as well as the convention potentials for rapid information exchange, primarily via Internet-based platforms, enable for rapid reporting, data collection, data analysis and situation-based decision-making. Such a workflow is especially important in management of rapidly developing emergencies, including NREs. IAEA has already established several such platforms and is intensively working on the improvements and upgrades of the existing ones, as well as on the development of new, sector-specific information platforms. This chapter gives information on the currently existing/developing IAEA platforms for management of NREs.
