This paper attempts to analyse the changes of Fulfulde verb suffixes, with particular attention to Adamawa Dialect. The aim of the paper is to analyse verb suffixes to identify the nature of the changes and the conditions that trigger them. The study employed unstructured observation to collect the data and oral interview was used to validate them. Generative Phonology (GP) was adopted as the theoretical framework for data analysis in the study. The study reveals that both phonology and morphology interact in the process of changes that occur within the verb suffixes in Fulfulde. It shows that each voice has a single underlying suffix, which interacts with various tense suffixes to derive a complete verbal complex. Considering the various environments that have different suffixes with common characteristics across the three voices, the changes are found to be triggered by certain rule-based conditions.

Nowadays, farmers can search for treatments for their plants using search engines and applications. Most existing works are developed in the form of rule-based question answering platforms. However, an observation could be incorrectly given by the farmer. This work recommends that diseases and treatments must be considered from a set of related observations. Thus, we develop a theoretical framework for systems to manage a farmer's observation data. We investigate and formalize desirable characteristics of such systems. The observation data is attached with a geolocation in which related contextual data is found. The framework is formalized based on algebra, in which required types and functions are identified. Its key characteristics are described by: (1) the defined type called warncons for representing observation data; (2) the similarity function for warncons; and (3) the warncons composition function for composing similar warncons. Finally, we show that the framework helps observation data to become richer and improve advice-finding.

The study aims to find aspects of the Doctrine of Fana and Baqa from Sufism in different characters of Shafaks novel The Forty Rules of Love. For this purpose qualitative mode of inquiry is adopted. The technique of content analysis is used for data analysis underpinned with Junayds theoretical framework of Sufism. The study finds that Shafak portrayed Fana as foundation and Baqa as a goal in Sufism through love as an inspirational tool, and concludes that Shafak has focused on Universal Love and spirituality but parallel to the emotions, experiences of Fana are revealed through the portrayal of characters.

This study discusses six short stories in the anthology of Djenar Maesa Ayu's work entitled Mereka Bilang, Saya Monyet! through a post feminism perspective. The problem in this study relates to the narration of women as victims in the patriarchal space. The aim of the study was to reveal the narration of women, the position of female subjects, and the discourse embedded in the short stories. To achieve the goal, this research was conducted in several stages, such as choosing object of research and the theoretical framework, collecting data, analysis, and conclusions. The object of this study consist of six short stories by Djenar Maesa Ayu, including "Mereka Bilang, Saya Monyet! "Lintah", "Durian", "Melukis Jendela", "Wong Asu", and "Namanya ....". Data is collected through in-depth reading and quoting words, phrases, sentences, paragraphs, and dialogues which are then described analytically. The data is then analyzed by interpreting all linguistic tools and connecting them with the postfeminism perspective. The results showed that women were narrated as if they were objects in the space of patriarchal domination, but instead they became a central subject who carried out resistance to patriarchal discourse by giving calls in the form of names of animal heads according to the nature and behavior of men, including Si Kepala Gajah, Si Kepala Sapi, dan Si Kepala Anjing. Other resistance carried out by women, through slashing the cheek and cutting penis, the symbol of man’s power. The narration in the short story of Djenar Maesa Ayu's works shows satire that men is not smarter than women whose called monkeys by them.)

The contemporary hybridism has led new generations to a connected-based society in which relations among individuals are even more mediated by the arising Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Some aspects of these mediations need to be deeply understood since new and different usages, habits, and practices with media are being observed among those born since the nineties – the digital natives. Aiming to investigate this context, a study was carried out to better understand how children and teenagers interact with four screens: computers, TV, games, and mobile phones. From a quantitative methodological approach, data was collected using a survey applied in Brazilian schools. A theoretical framework on digital literacy concepts was used as base for two-layer of data analysis on these four media, and the results were organized in five topics that show the main outcomes. They can be the basis of further educational policies grounded in real diagnosis.

While cognitive computing-enabled smart computers are growing in people's daily lives, there are not many studies that explain how people interact and utilize these solutions, and the impact of these smart machines to people's performance to do things. In this article, a theoretical framework for boosting people's performance using cognitive assistants (CAs) was developed and explained using the data analysis from 32 interviews. The results show that people interaction with CAs enhance their levels of cognition and intelligence that help them to enhance their capabilities. Enhanced capabilities help people to enhance their performance.

The aim of the present article is to investigate the meaning of the signs in Persian translation of Heart of Darkness. To reach the desired goal, the researcher has used social semiotics and Peirce’s triadic sign model as the theoretical framework. In the current study, Peirce semiotics has been used for detecting signs. After detection 50 signs, the researcher used Peirce’s triadic sign model for analyzing the translation of each sign. The researcher decoded the signs to identify their components and analyzed them in social semiotic level to clarify whether they have the same impression on the Persian version of Heart of Darkness as their English source or not. After performing data analysis, it was cleared that 37 signs (out of 50) in the corpus of the study have the same effect and meaning in the target text as what they have in the source text.
