This proposed project builds forth on the still ongoing ERASMUS+ capacity building project “Sustainability Alliance of Urban Networks in Asian Cities” (SAUNAC). SAUNAC, amongst others, aimed at designing, implementing and evaluating educational programs on Smart Sustainable Cities at Vietnamese universities. This new proposed project takes SAUNAC to a next level, by further developing the cooperation between Higher Education Institutes on the one hand and Companies active in Vietnam on the other hand. This requires additional efforts to tuning of (degree) programmes with competences required by businesses. The target group of companies / HEIs are active in the field of sustainable development.Funding: Erasmus+ Capacity Building

This paper is built on the following research questions: (i) What are the direct/indirect relationships between Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG11) and sustainability protocols? (ii) Could the sustainability protocols constitute a solution towards the achievement of SDG11? We underline that, on the one hand, the SDGs are guidelines to support the development of sustainable policies and thus address all elements that may affect them, and on the other hand, sustainability protocols are assessment tools to promote sustainability-conscious design while remaining focused on the built environment. In the Italian regulatory context, the paper highlights how this difference in terms of focus and scale means that they only overlap and mutually reinforce each other with regard to certain aspects, more related to energy and air pollution issues and less to the social aspects of sustainability. Even if there is not always a direct relationship between the evaluation criteria of the protocols and the indicators of SDG11, it is possible to conclude that the sustainability protocols can facilitate the achievement of the SDG11 targets, acting as a key for the implementation of sustainable cities and helping in structuring the process leading to sustainability in a broader framework.

This study aims to examine the laws of dowry money decoration that are common in the community. The innovation and soul of art that is channeled through décor of dowry money is proven to produce beautiful and unique works, so as to attract the attention and interest of the wider community. However, because to produce beautiful and unique works, a high level of creativity is needed, so not everyone can do it. On the one hand, this phenomenon opens up quite good business opportunities, but on the other hand, it should be watched out, because in some conditions it contains the practice of buying and selling currencies with nominal differences. Through this study, I would like to uncover the law of buying and selling practices decorating dowry money and decorating services. As I also intend to present an applicative solution for the community so that they can still channel their artistic talents without violating Shari’ah law.

Traditional labour relationships have been disrupted due to the digital platforms based businesses. This article aims on the one hand to share the consequences the sharing economy has generated for workers, and how MONDRAGON’s principles as one of the best examples of worker owned business group in the world, can be applied within the new digital era. On the other hand, this paper provides a literature review on how digital platforms can operate with fairer principles based on the framework that platform coops consist of. Last but not least, Mondragon University and The New School have set up a capacity building program on team entrepreneurship and an online incubation program that aims to support the creation of platform coops, whose results after two editions and future opportunities for research are shared.

Consideration is given to the promotion of and barriers to developing the intellectual capital of academics in triple bottom line accounting for countries in South East Asia. A range of considerations that promote intellectual capacity building in accounting are outlined. The main problems associated with development are also outlined. Le but de cet article est d’analyser le pour et le contre de la formation des universitaires en comptabilité, tout en adoptant une vision de responsabilité sociale (ou de Triple Résultat) dans les pays du sud est asiatique. L’auteur discute des moyens nécessaires pour promouvoir le développement de compétences en comptabilité. Il offre aussi une élaboration des problèmes principaux associés au développement.
