The article describes the online Information System “History of Geology and Mining”, its creation, use and development. Its Web content, structure and search capabilities provide direct access to information on contributions of numerous Russian and foreign geoscientist. The Information System contains personal bibliographies and lists of papers about geoscientists, as well as photos and documents about them. It provides easy search of scientific information, study of numerous original documents and meets all demands of users. The Information System is an important and useful tool for all professionals, historians of geosciences and students. The System may be considered as a working model of processing and digitising large collections of scientific information. The experience in the development and operation of the Information System can be scaled and integrated in other projects for the designed Common Digital Workplace of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). Such integration should improve the quality of research works, increase citation, improve search and peer reviews of scientific works.

The technological development led to the substitution of vegetable and animal oils for the mineral ones. With further development of engine manufacturing, the requirements to the quality of lubricants increased. It was revealed that the mineral oils, as though they are cleaned, do not satisfy the requirements. In this regard, the new method for the improvement of the quality of lubricants is the addition of organic compounds with various functional groups providing the lubricants with set properties into so-called “additives”. In 1945 on the offer of academician U. Mammadaliev a laboratory of the lubricants and additives had been established and leaded by academician A.M. Kuliev under AzNIINP named after V.V. Kuybyshev. Fundamental studies of this staff were considered a basis for the development of industrial production of efficient additives in the former Soviet Union. First developments of the staff related to the depressor and detergent, afterwards to the multi-functional additives. Based on carried out surveys by the laboratory staff the first local additives – depressors AzNII, AzNII-4, AzNII-5, AzNII-TSIATIM etc. have been developed in Azerbaijan. The success of the staff in the studies and developments, as well as the presence of qualified specialists in the chemistry of additives promoted the establishment of the single in our country profiled Institute for the chemistry of additives of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan SSR under the leadership of A.M. Kuliev in 1965. The diapason of fundamental works, enabling to develop the scientific basis of synthesis of efficient additives of optimum structure has been dramatically increased. Numerous efficient additives of various purpose have been obtained. The lubricants are being used in all spheres of the economy.

The article is devoted to an important event – the 30th anniversary of the scientific and practical journal “Pul'monologiya”, the leading Russian professional Journal on respiratory diseases and the official body of the Russian Respiratory Society (RRS). A brief history and the main stages of the evolution of the journal “Pul'monologiya”, its place in contemporary medical periodicals, the main bibliometric indicators and perspectives of development are presented. The history of the Journal is inextricably linked with the history of the Russian pulmonary service and the respiratory society (RRS). Currently, the Journal is closely integrated into the information network of periodic scientific medical literature, entering in the leading international and domestic bibliographic databases. The Chief-Editor Professor A.G.Chuchalin, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Editorial Board put a lot of effort into the development of new e-technologies in the development of the Journal, increasing the requirements for the quality of scientific publications, and the relevance of the topics discussed.

The bachelor thesis entitled "Improving the quality of students in learning the History of Islamic Culture through the media mind mapping (In Islamic Junior High School / SMP Tanfirul Ghoyyi Lamongan) is the result of qualitative research aimed at answering questions on how to improve the quality of students in learning the History of Islamic Culture through media mind mapping, what are the efforts of teachers in improving the quality of students in learning the History of Islamic Culture through the media mind mapping, how are the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the quality of students in learning the History of Islamic Culture through the media mind mapping. To obtain complete data, this research uses a qualitative approach. In data collection, the writer uses interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis are through data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results showed that improving the quality of students in learning the History of Islamic Culture through the media mind mapping is the quality of student-based active, fun, contemporary learning. The efforts of teachers in improving the quality of students in learning the History of Islamic Culture through the media mind mapping are giving explanations of mind mapping techniques, effective reading techniques to find keywords included in the mind mapping, writing systematic mind mapping techniques. Supporting factors are the availability of mind mapping software, online information technology that provides a variety of inspirations for the preparation of mind mapping, creativity of teachers in making mind mapping, student enthusiasm in making mind mapping; while inhibiting factors are students' difficulties to determine the effective and relevant material that are displayed in the mind mapping, the length of time of learning, and excessive mind mapping presentation.

Abstract Background Nurses are at the forefront of patient care during infectious disease pandemics and they play a key role in treating and preventing the upward trend of the disease. Hence, it is crucial to consider their experiences in designing action plans to combat coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Since there is not enough data in this regard, the current study aimed to investigate the nurses’ experiences in caring for patients with COVID-19 in Iran. Methods In this descriptive qualitative study, a total of 20 nurses were selected by purposive sampling. Semi-structured interviews were conducted and analyzed using qualitative content analysis to collect data. Results Data analysis revealed four main themes, including ‘duality in the form of care,’ ‘confusion and ambiguity in care planning’, ‘workload’, and ‘social isolation in spite of positive image.’ Conclusion Our findings indicated that the nurses experienced a range of paradoxes during the COVID-19 pandemic; these paradoxes included distraction from providing care due to focus on marginal factors in spite of empathy and cooperation in nurses, the presence of volunteer support staff despite the lack of equipment, lack of scientific information and the unreliability of online information, overload in the hospital due to insufficient facilities and equipment, and the physical avoidance of people in the community in spite of social support for nurses in the media. The results of this study can lead to a clear understanding for managers and healthcare policymakers in the country and aid them in taking optimal measures to support nurses and improve the quality of nursing care against COVID-19.

Media information developed so rapidly in line with technological developments. Media information running on a college, greatly affects the student in understanding the developments taking place in its environment. Application of the media aims to facilitate students in meeting the needs of science. However, the use of the information media and the campus is not optimal yet computerized student ignorance will lead to the existence of such media. Thus the importance of online information media to facilitate the process of information retrieval. Now with iLearning learning, all the information can be integrated extensively. iRAN is a campus information media that have been computerized aims to manage all documentation of an event, incident, and campus information. In this case to measure the quality of information produced, iRAN adopted a study conducted by DeLone and McLean (1992) showed that among the six categories that build on the success of information systems, there is a connection and dependence which then determine the success or failure of the implementation of an information system. In addition there are 6 literature reviews that can be used as references in preparing this report. The final result of the study is an integrated information system that is widely campus, where iRAN can provide the latest information about activities or events that are taking place within the campus while also every student can participate share what they know into iRAN.

A pilot medical information system is being implemented and currently is providing services for limited categories of patient data. In one year, physicians’ diagnoses for 500,000 office visits, 300,000 drug prescriptions for outpatients, one million clinical laboratory tests, and 60,000 multiphasic screening examinations are being stored in and retrieved from integrated, direct access, patient computer medical records. This medical information system is a part of a long-term research and development program. Its major objective is the development of a multifacility computer-based system which will support eventually the medical data requirements of a population of one million persons and one thousand physicians. The strategy employed provides for modular development. The central system, the computer-stored medical records which are therein maintained, and a satellite pilot medical data system in one medical facility are described.
