Occasional problems with improperly heated soybean meal persist even though methods and rather good evaluation procedures are available. The technique of Olomucki and Bornstein (1960) in volves absorption of cresol red during a shaking process of a specific grind on soybean meal and will evaluate overheated as well as underheated soybean meal. Attempts have been made to determine if the (mg cresol red absorbed per g meal) reported was the lowest safe level. Unheated soybean meal samples averaged 2.55. Genetically uniform day old chicks fed heated soybean meal sample testing 3.3 averaged 61.9 g at one week compared with 68.3g for soybean meal testing 3.6. Poults fed the same meals averaged 129g and 138g respectively at one week. In both tests at two weeks these differences had decreased to only 266 vs 271. Effects on pancreas Weights were not significant except with raw soybean meals.

To investigate the effect of drying temperature on the fermented soybean meal, we examined the water content, protein solubility, and kinetics and thermodynamics of small peptide elimination. Results showed that the drying process of the fermented soybean meal could reduce the water content to safe level, and higher temperature (> 70 °C) would shorten the drying time, but at the same time, decrease the protein solubility and the content of small peptides. Kinetic parameters indicated that the highest rate constant k at 90°C was 18.6 times of the lowest k at 50°C and temperature effect was stronger than the time effect in the reaction, as a result, reducing their content. Thermodynamic calculation appeared that there was the chemical endothermic reaction of peptides and higher temperature also accelerated the elimination of the small peptides in this drying system.

This report deals with an effort to begin the process of effectively identifying children in rural areas with speech and language problems using existing school personnel. A two-day competency-based workshop for the purpose of training aides to conduct a large-scale screening of speech and language problems in elementary-school-age children is described. Training strategies, implementation, and evaluation procedures are discussed.

35 patients with scintigraphically silent thyroid regions without palpable cold nodules were further evaluated by ultrasonography. In 33 cases the sonographic diagnosis was confirmed by other examinations or the clinical course. 2 cases were misinterpreted right at the beginning of our series.The use of ultrasonography in evaluating silent thyroid regions in the totally decompensated autonomous adenoma, in unilateral thyroid aplasia, thyroiditis and hyperthyroidism is shown to be a reliable and valuable supplement to the clinical and radioisotopic evaluation procedures. When differentiating the totally decompensated autonomous adenoma from unilateral thyroid aplasia a stimulation test need not be performed in most cases. Suspected thyroiditis can be confirmed in a simple way. Being a non-invasive evaluation procedure, ultrasonography should be used before performing a needle biopsy.

In this employee payroll application, if there is an error program there will be a loss for employees and the company. Losses for employees, if this application program error occurs then the salary reduction will experience delays due to the difficulty in the process of calculating employee salaries and employees will be late in receiving salaries. Losses for the company, if there is an error program in this application, the company will suffer losses if the employee wants a salary reduction quickly but the company cannot calculate quickly and accurately. In solving this problem, the authors use the black box testing method. Black box testing method is a test that sees the results of execution through test data and ensures the function of the software. Black box testing method has several testing techniques, namely Sample Testing, Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitions and others. From the testing techniques that have been mentioned, we use the Equivalence Partitions testing technique. Equivalence Partitions are tests that refer to data entry on the employee payroll application form, input will be tested and then put together based on the test function, both valid and invalid values. The expected results of this test are a payroll system for employees who are computerized, have standard rules in the process of developing the program so that it is easy to develop and maintain, and can minimize errors in processing salary calculations for employees.

The pandemic situation at the beginning of March 2020 forced teachers to develop alternative teaching methods, and most important to find the best ways to keep teaching for every student no matter the situation, as for example, the lack of computer knowledge or hardware/software support. Teachers worldwide struggled to support, encourage, find the best ways not only to help students to keep learning but support them emotionally. At the end of the academic year, teachers made efforts to develop fair, appropriate evaluation procedures adapted to distance education. This paper summarizes the Distance Teaching-Learning-Evaluation (DTLE) evolution in Russia and Romania and some methods developed from March to December 2020 to support the educational activity. Some benefits, challenges and difficulties are identified during the same period of time in different DTLE scenarios, from the point of view of teachers and students, as well. Examples of new adapted methods, dedicated to the DTLE scenarios are al-so addressed in this work.

Subject. This article deals with the issues of determining the market value of the trading business, taking into account a number of characteristics. Objectives. The article aims to develop certain provisions of the methodology and practice of evaluating the business of trading organizations, namely, taking into account the additional risk of inventory feasibility when calculating the discount rate. Methods. For the study, we used a systems approach, and the cognition, and economic and analytical research methods. Results. The article presents a three-tiered classification of stocks and a definition of risk based on the criteria for dividing stocks by purpose, degree of implementation, and shelf life in accordance with the scale. Based on the classification, the article offers certain recommendations for determining the discount rate when evaluating trading organizations, aimed at taking into account additional risk. Conclusions. Various evaluation procedures within the framework of traditional approaches and methods in relation to trading organizations do not take into account risk specific to this type of economic activity. The proposed methodology for calculating the discount rate for trade organizations takes into account the features of their functioning.

This study was conducted to determine the effect of cottonseed meal (CSM) incorporated into laying rations in place of soybean meal (SBM) at different ratios on yield traits. The birds began to lay at 6th week, 180 female and 45 male quails were used in laying period experiment. Birds were fed with rations containing 20% CP and 3000 Kcal/kg ME up to 20-week age (Laying period). CSM as a substitute, five different rations of the protein content (0, 30, 58, 86 and 100%) for SBM to basal diets based on corn-soybean meal were used. The results showed that there were no differences in terms of egg yield traits, cumulative feed consumptions and viabilities during the laying period. The highest dry shell rate and shell thickness were obtained from 5th group and 1st group, respectively. As a result, adding CSM instead of SBM in laying period were no significantly differences in terms of egg production and egg quality in laying period.
