In this study we consider such a nonalphabetical sign of Russian orthography, as the hyphen, which was field of increased focus of the famous Kazakh scientist N.I. Gainullina. Attention is drawn to the fact that in the written works of today’s bachelor’s, master’s degree student and even postgraduate students are confused three characters: a dash as a punctuation mark, a hyphen as a sign of orthography and em dash, or “long dash”, which appeared as a result of the development of information technology and computer-network topics, the so-called “Internet” “long dash”. Based on the material of examples of writing Russian toponyms found that among the currently existing recommendations on the use of hyphen and contained in the current, known to all Russian speakers set of orthographic rules, there is no clear notation that would provide for its use for the division of complex toponyms; we highlight the reasons for the unresolved spelling of complex toponyms. It has been established that the “expressive purposes” of the hyphen usage, the statement of which contradicts the traditional spelling of the word, and it is proved that the use of the hyphen in various texts should be considered as a manifestation of the individual author’s handwriting features, when the main goal of the author of the text is achieved-to convey the proposed subtleties of the meaning of words and the elegance of the formula of self – expression.

This work demonstrates that the use of laboratories for the development of curricular work in the area of information technology exclusively supported by cloud computing technology does not decrease the level of learning and assessment objects on the part of students. This scenario arose due to the need to interrupt face-to-face classes in physical laboratories due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The study had as universe a master's degree in Computer Science.

Abstract As terminology has become more descriptive than prescriptive in theory and practice, translation of special domain language has become more professional, and these processes have been accelerated by the possibilities offered by information technology. This paper will describe our online suite of tools for special domain corpora compilation and analysis, term extraction and term database management, Corpógrafo, which has been developed by computer engineers in close cooperation between the teachers and students of a Master’s degree in Terminology and Translation. Special emphasis will be given to its implications for teaching and research.

The formation of scientific outlook in the process of the professional training aimed at the future masters of History by means of cross-curricular communications seem to be of great importance. The basis of professional training of masters of History is provided by general scientific, philosophical, general cultural, methodical and special knowledge. The Master's degree in History provides an understanding of the content of the Humanities, the knowledge of Ukraine’s history, the knowledge of the major trends in the evolution of European history and culture. Undergraduate students must have a comprehensive approach to scientific analysis, they are to be able to evaluate the events and activities of historical figures from the standpoint of universal values, to critically evaluate historical facts based on alternative views of the problem, to find out the cause and effect of the relationships in historical events of the past, to analyse and to generalize historical material in a certain system and to form on this ground a personal outlook, to know the achievements of the Humanities and social sciences. Institutions of higher education should combine in the educational space the education, training and development of the personality of each student, while creating the conditions for the formation of the scientific outlook of the Master of History, which must correspond to the modern, complex realities of social development. The formation of a scientific outlook requires focused and continuous work throughout the magistracy. In the mind of the student, the formation of the scientific worldview occurs in the form of a synthesis of interdisciplinary knowledge, that is, the formation of a holistic system of knowledge that is learned in classes in different disciplines of masterʼs training. The importance of forming the scientific outlook of future specialists has been proved in the scientific literature in view of the importance of the development of modern society, but the structural components of the scientific outlook of the personality of the specialist, pedagogical technologies (pedagogical conditions) of the process of its formation have not been sufficiently developed. In order to pass certain stages of the effective procedure, we propose the pedagogical conditions that will contribute to a better formation of the scientific outlook of masters of History. Therefore, the main pedagogical conditions of this process, in our opinion, are as follows: 1) to obtain meaningful theoretical knowledge in all subjects of the master's training unit; 2) to form personal relations to the historical fact and the historical figure; 3) to motivate masters to active independent work (interest in educational material, actualization of a cognitive activity, possibility of using the students’ creative potential, to encourage them to self-education and self-development). Keywords: worldview, scientific worldview of master of History, components, cross-subject ties, master’s degree course, pedagogical conditions.

Abstract International arbitration as the efficient means of alternative dispute resolution has become, due to globalization, a highly specialised service rendered by professionals. Master’s degree program (LLM) completion enables those interested to become competent and competitive specialists in arbitration on the international arena. Great Britain has accumulated broad practical experience in organizing professional training in the field of international arbitration. Many leading British universities offer prospective students Master’s programs in this speciality, encouraging all comers, even those with the initial non-legal background. Basic competences of LLM graduates in international arbitration (systemic competences, professional instrumental competences, professional social and personal competences) have been identified and clarified on the basis of relevant sources analysis. Professionally important knowledge, abilities and skills have been generalized and explained. For instance, an international arbitration LLM graduate is obliged to possess communicative and social skills, cognitive abilities and skills in the subject area, must be competent in English law, etc.

The aim of this documentary, quantitative, exploratory and descriptive study was to characterize research groups in nursing education in the state of São Paulo and the conformity of its researchers and scientific works. Data were collected in Directory Groups of CNPq, in the 2008 census and in the Lattes platform. São Paulo has 12 Research Groups in Nursing Education, with 94 researchers, of which 91.5% are research fellows, or have a Ph.D or a master's degree. These groups have published 875 scientific articles, 62 books, 191 book chapters and 96 full papers in event annals. A total of 88.8% of scientific articles were published in Brazilian journals with Qualis/CAPES A2. São Paulo stands out in the Brazilian setting for having the largest number of research groups, qualified researchers and high-quality publications. These facts are directly related to high federal and state investments.
