The social changes are the result of societal challenges and are related to profound, sustainable, and non-linear actions and their result on the environment, society, and the individual. The impact of societal changes on human and social behavior is not unequivocal, and its understanding depends on the research methodology. For this paper is applied the phenomenological description - a method that refers to the experience lived in the immediate existential from the perspective of the essence of phenomena. The research data is the result of applying an online questionnaire developed with Google Form on a sample of 158 respondents. The results obtained allow us to describe the impact of societal changes on human and social behavior through the specifics of the phenomenon of “global education”: the diversification of the forms of organization of the educational process; interactive discourse - effective teaching method; prioritization of action methods; the use of audio / video sequences in the teacher’s message; the issue of computerized evaluation; the theme of continuing education courses and the importance of the interactive portal for in-service teachers.

Purpose – This paper aims to add to the understanding of knowledge sharing in online communities through an investigation of the relationship between individual participant’s motivations and management in open source software (OSS) communities. Drawing on a review of literature concerning knowledge sharing in organisations, the factors that motivate participants to share their knowledge in OSS communities, and the management of such communities, it is hypothesised that the quality of management influences the extent to which the motivations of members actually result in knowledge sharing. Design/methodology/approach – To test the hypothesis, quantitative data were collected through an online questionnaire survey of OSS web developers with the aim of gathering respondents’ opinions concerning knowledge sharing, motivations to share knowledge and satisfaction with the management of OSS projects. Factor analysis, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to explore the survey data. Findings – The analysis of the data reveals that the individual participant’s satisfaction with the management of an OSS project is an important factor influencing the extent of their personal contribution to a community. Originality/value – Little attention has been devoted to understanding the impact of management in OSS communities. Focused on OSS developers specialising in web development, the findings of this paper offer an important original contribution to understanding the connections between individual members’ satisfaction with management and their motivations to contribute to an OSS project. The findings reveal that motivations to share knowledge in online communities are influenced by the quality of management. Consequently, the findings suggest that appropriate management can enhance knowledge sharing in OSS projects and online communities, and organisations more generally.

Computer and multimedia learning is still an active teaching method. Computer-assisted and computer-based training allows an education based on the intellectual profile of the student and beyond. It also puts the student in situations of interaction and rapid communication, made in a favorable environment that allows massive dissemination of the created content and time flexibility by combining synchronous and asynchronous means of communication. In the case of computer-assisted instruction, the interactivity is practically generalized, providing the learner with permanent feedback, as visible and immediate effects occur on the computer screen. Today, computer-assisted instruction involves efficient research of the student's work, supervised and guided by the teacher (even in the current conditions dictated by the pandemic), which helps him in performing technical operations, in identifying the links between information and documentation, leading him to a new form of knowledge (digital knowledge). Achieving the objectives of the educational process requires as necessary, in different stages of learning, the intuition of processes and phenomena of reality, either directly or through substitutes. At the same time, the formation of skills and abilities requires the presence of material supports for practicing actions. Through this paper, we aim to show that there is thus a diversity in education such as "pedagogical tools" called associated teaching aids in the field of computer-assisted training. They contribute to the efficient development of the didactic activity, being equally material resources of the educational process, selected from reality, modified, or made to reach the pedagogical objectives. The progress of technology has driven the diversification and improvement of these resources, so that, in the Information and Knowledge Society, it can be shown that computer-assisted training has become a variable of the modern educational process, which must take into account, more than ever, the profile of the individual and society.

AbstractIt is well known that the extent to which the supply manages to adapt to the demands and changes in consumer behavior is key to the success of a business or, in the current economic context, to the survival of a business. This paper aims to analyze the manner in which the perception and attitude of the individual towards risk causes major changes in its purchasing behavior and, implicitly, to identify the tools of marketing with a favorable impact on the consumer, in the economic and social context generated by the Covid-19 pandemic. Although the fear and concern generated by the current economic and social crisis are visibly affecting both social behavior in general, and purchasing behavior in particular, finding effective ways to inform and communicate with consumers to facilitate their access to up-to-date and highly accurate information is essential both to meet the growing need for information in conditions of risk and uncertainty, and to guide the purchasing decision towards the best alternative for the consumer.

Today in the market of educational services, the winner is the one who wins in the fight for ratings. The question of cost and performance must be discussed in a broader context, namely to take into account that education is an essential part of social capital, which ensures success in international competition. Therefore, the savings on education in the long run leads to delays and loss of influence. Management, based on the digital divide is not a panacea. The article sets the task of analyzing the transformation of education in the digital age: 1) The identification of the causes of the crisis in the education system; secondly, the analysis of online courses as tools of modern educational spaces; 2) The impact of electronic educational technologies on the actors of the educational process; fourthly, the updating of teaching practices of meaning, based on understanding the individual learner and teacher; 3) For the development of the reflective experience of new educational programs they must be supplemented with hermeneutic and semiotic teaching techniques that contribute to understanding the meaning and provide live interpersonal communication; 4) Enhancement of the productivity of education through the introduction of digital technologies is accompanied by the strengthening of electronic control and management; 5) It is necessary to create a pedagogical atmosphere in which freedom, responsibility, trust, and friendship is cultivated.

The COVID-19 pandemic has witnessed an unprecedented disruption in global education. The sudden imposition of a lockdown led to rapid changes being made to learning, teaching, and assessment (LTA) approaches used by universities and other educational institutions, and added stress and anxiety to many students and academics. This chapter uses the findings from an online questionnaire to assess the impact of these changes on students at UK universities. It considers both their quantitative and qualitative responses to identify the key issues they faced and, in examining their experiences, allowing recommendations to be made to universities on how they can improve the support for their students. These recommendations are developed from those which the student participants themselves suggest.

Urban Spaces had played an important role in the individuals’ psychological life and in their integration with their environment as it’s considered as the mediator through which the interactions between people with each other and with their natural environment, they can exchange their cultures and spread activities. Despite its importance, many communities suffer from the absence of positive communication between individuals and place they belong to or lack of happiness while being in it. The reason for that is the ignorance of some urban designer to the role of the humanity in the process of the design and its impact on the formation of the urban spaces, though through urban design the complexities of the place can be managed and a general framework for change can be created by designing a compatible and sustainable space for users depending on the events and activities located in it that show political, social and economic transformations that occurs to the communities and affect the social development for individuals. Although there are social diversity among members of the same community but it was observed that there is a similarity in their behaviors towards certain positions, which expresses their culture. Social celebrations (Festivals) are considered the most effective patronize for social formats impact on the spatial formation, as it helps in supporting the idea of individuals’ belonging to the place since the human there is the main sponsor for forming the spaces that contain all the activities and events that may be specific or temporary with a time or an event, and thus it was essential to show physical and non-physical components for space formation in order to gain access to identify the reciprocal relationship between the individual and the place and highlight the most important and successful spatial expressions that help boost the spirit of communication between individuals and develop a sense of belonging to the place. The paper examines how the dynamics of social life at the local scale are shaped by the special spatial arrangements created for urban festival events by the observation of the social changes impact on the resulting urban transformations during festival and its role in individuals’ sense of belonging substation.

The impact of religion on social behavior has been a well-researched topic throughout the years. Consequently, scholars believe that religion influences positive social behavior in religious individuals and creates the basis for individual identity and sense of belonging. In this research, I examine how female identity becomes solidified during college and the roles religion plays in constructing identity and social behavior. Using anthropologist Victor Turner’s concept of communitas (1967) I seek to understand female social behavior and what prompts the development of group unity as well as how religion serves as a bonding agent among college students during their first years living independently. Using ethnographic field methods including informal interviews, life histories, and participant observation, I will conduct in-depth studies of fifteen female University of West Georgia collegiate sophomores. Females are the focus group for my study because I am inspired to discover how a woman’s identity is formed within male-dominant societies and how religion influences a woman’s social behavior. Therefore, I will consider the interplay between the effects of religion on social behavior and identity in a college setting and how being a college student affects the individual’s religious values. I will concentrate on unmarried, 18-21 year-old female collegiate sophomores who reside on the UWG campus and identify with a particular religion. I hypothesize that through the experience of communitas, the religious values and practices of an 18-21 year-old collegiate female sophomore at The University of West Georgia cause her to be more socially involved/engaged with others and influence her career choices.

The idea of four industrial revolutions, popular in modern humanitarian knowledge, may well be given in political and legal treatment. At the same time, there are patterns between economic and social changes and evolution in the justification of political and legal institutions that formalize power relations within the concept of “machine of power”. Each of the industrial revolutions creates the technical capabilities and prerequisites for an increasingly diverse interpretations of power relations. It is necessary to bear in mind the risks, dangers to society and the individual, possible adverse consequences in the creation of more effective mechanisms for the exercise of political power. In accordance with the indicated chronological framework, changes in the understanding of statehood and power relations in connection with the first technological revolution are analyzed. The impact of the second, third and fourth technological revolutions on the evolution of the “power machine” concept will be discussed in the next article.
