On the other hand, the analysis examines the problematics of memory balkanization. It explicates how political forces have shaped the development of digital and social media in Hong Kong and how competing representations of the Tiananmen Incident and commemoration activities are articulated and reinforced within distinctive memory silos.

Assessment of competitiveness is an objective need of every business entity seeking to maintain or improve their own competitive position and make informed management decisions. The authors propose to classify the diversity of methods of assessment of the competitiveness of the enterprise through three main approaches: graphic, factor and value. In order to identify the advantages and disadvantages of each of the approaches described by the authors, the content of the main methods used in the study was analyzed. It is concluded that there is no universal tool for assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise, which is due to, on the one hand, the limited reliability and low estimates obtained by using matrix and product methods, and on the other hand, the complexity and cost of the estimates using existing multivariate models.

Objective: to determine the degree of reliability and informativity of descriptions and images of the Udmurt headwear of the XVI–XVIII centuries. Research materials: works of travelers of the XVI–XVIII centuries, containing data about ayshon. Results and novelty of the research: the article provides a comparative analysis of materials about ayshon in the sources of the XVI–XVIII centuries. The objective of this study is to explain the financial liberalization processes in Turkey and Brazil, to analyze the external financial liberalization processes and the financial integration indices and to compare the developments in the financial integration indices of Turkey and Brazil during the period 1980-2013. Our analysis revealed that, on the one hand, Brazil has continued its external liberalization process since the 1990s, but on the other hand, Brazil used two main tools to manage the capital flows, namely, capital controls and liberalization of capital outflows. In contrast, Turkey did not employ these tools following liberalization of the capital account.

The negative impact of the existing legislative approach to reforming the criminal process on the possibility of its convergence with other procedural branches is considered. The unjustified separation of bills on reforming the CPC within the framework of unified procedural transformations is noted. Separate legislative work on the criminal process, on the one hand, and arbitration, civil and administrative, on the other hand, leads to the emergence of additional unjustified differences in the normative consolidation of universal institutions. Specific examples of undesirable divergence of lawsuits caused by uncoordinated lawmaking are given. The absence of convergence of procedural law among the goals of both sectoral, in particular, criminal procedure policy, and judicial policy is noted. The necessity of developing the concept and directions of judicial procedural policy is substantiated.

A digital communiqué operates with GUI not to depict, describe or structure the meanings but, above all, to transfer them. At the moment of clicking, that is, when a specific question is being asked by the user (customer), specific semiotically varied content is downloaded and displayed on the screen in accordance with the pre-designed, graphic template. Thus, graphical interface treats writing and image on the one hand as heterogeneous units – stored in databases, in a way that makes them quick and easy to find; on the other hand – heteronomous, that is, affecting each other at the level of presentation and manipulation of the message. Graphical edition skillfully combines the expectations of recipients concerning the access to the message: on the one hand – precise (along the lines of the language), on the other – economic, reducing (iconic), and it merges in this way two structures of reception, considered in our culture to be different. Pragmatic functionality of digital message is understood as accurate and synthetic mediation, which results in further analogous features from the level of semiotics and semantics, where the highlighted three planes of the communiqué circulate in the feedback loop.

Special features of a modern internet poetry-genre «pyrizhok» are reviewed in the article. The investigation of texts, which are not suited to the traditional norms of literature, is based on the scientific understanding of contemporary literary process on the part of literary scholars such as O. Rakitna, O. Yudina, T. Kononenko, K.Rakitna, M. Pekhа. Traditional canonical forms of poetry do not always satisfy the modern recipient, at the same time the new forms have not achieved sufficient evolution. Comparative analysis of traditional forms of concise poetry is made, such as tchastivka (humorous rhyme), kolomiyka (Ukrainian dance and song), sonnet, rubai from the one hand and modern forms of internet lyrics genre of «pyrizhok» and «poroshok» from the other hand. Despite “patties” («pyrizhky») are rather related with folklore, they are created by a particular author, often under the pseudonym. The presence of a particular author is akin to a “patty” with a canonical genre — rubai. This canonical genre is associated with one author — Omar Khayyam. According to authors, Vladyslav Richter is the “patties’” first creator, but his work only gave impetus to the development of the genre. A huge number of unknown authors led the genre into a category of canonical / anticononical. In this work, the complicated and contradictory character of the category “canon” is investigated. The evolution of the terms “canon” and “decanonization” in poetry comes along the process of democratization in literature. Similar features incidental to «pyrizhok» and “сomics” are found namely briefness, laconic brevity, illustrativeness and contextuality. In such a manner all the forms of internet-poetry might be considered as experimentally provocative genre. Decanonization is observed on all stages — from stylistic layer to high-principled accent. «Pyrizhok» reflects social disposition and is a part of decanonization process. In this research the attempt of provingthat «pyrizhok» is one of the most democratic genre of modern poetry is made. It is needed to be investigated by literature specialists.

The internet safe harbour created by section 230 of the Communications Decency Act has been described as one of the laws that built Silicon Valley. Australia does not have an equivalent law. The closest available is clause 91(1) of schedule 5 of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 (Cth) (BSA Immunity), a law described by the NSW Department of Justice as of limited ‘utility'. The purpose of this chapter is to conduct a comparative analysis of section 230 and the BSA Immunity. On the one hand, the chapter seeks to outline how section 230 has helped develop some of the world's most successful platforms while, on the other hand, the chapter argues that the BSA Immunity's lack of utility has had a ‘chilling effect' on internet businesses in Australia. Following this comparison, the chapter discusses potential reforms to the BSA Immunity, which could assist in the development of future Australian start-ups.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the views of I. Kant, F. Nietzsche, and M. Scheler on the problem of personality in the context of the principle of spiritual hierarchy. To do this we need to solve the following problems: first, to make a comparative analysis of their views; and second, to formulate the main theses of the author's metaphysical concept of personality. To analyze the problem of personality, the methodology of knowledge of K. Mannheim and the ideas of P. Ricker have been applied. On the basis of the principle of the spiritual hierarchy, the author's understanding of the meaning of the concept of "personality" is formulated. The metaphysical concept of personality, revives the hierarchical approach to the understanding of a person, on the one hand, and, formulates a new theoretical apparatus for the enhanced understanding of a person and personality in particular, on the other hand. The proposed concept of personality lays the foundations for rethinking the content of the educational process, places on the agenda the study of mechanisms for the perfection of man and society.
