Spiritual vocation is a broad concept that affects the human spirit or soul that collides the sense of connection to the people giving a bigger meaning in life. Vocation is a work that people feel to do, particularly people want to fulfill a particular role in life. Meanwhile, academic satisfaction is the whole experience of the students and also their expectation regarding to their academic reality. The study intends to assess the association between students’ spiritual vocation and academic satisfaction particularly to find out the students’ association between students’ spiritual vocation and students’ academic satisfaction. The study banked the theory proposed by John Holland titled Vocational Choice Theory and Alexander Astin titled Students Involvement Theory. This quantitative approach research used descriptive survey design used rating scale research instruments in gathering the data. The respondents of the study were the Senior High School Students with a total population of 245 but only 194 students acceded to answer. The researchers asked permission from the students to be the respondents of this research study using informed letter signed by the principal and teachers involved. The researchers provided answer sheets to the respondents to answer. The researcher gave instructions and discussed the purpose of the study before allowing the students to answer the survey questionnaires. The researchers gave at least 10 minutes to answer the questionnaire. The result of the study revealed that there is no association between the students’ spiritual vocation and academic satisfaction.

This study examined the influence of Career Self-Efficacy, Gender Stereotyping and Career Self-Concept on Sex-Typed career choices of students in the Asante Akim North Municipality. The descriptive, survey design using the quantitative approach was adopted for the study. Eight hundred (800) final year Senior High School Students (five hundred) (500) males and three hundred (300) females from the Asante Akim North Municipality were selected for the study using opportunistic and purposive sampling methods. Data were analyzed using various analytical techniques including multiple regression and t-tests. Among the present study’ findings were that Career Self-Efficacy was found to have more influence on the students’ Choice of Sex-Typed Career than Gender Stereotyping and Career Self-Concept. The present findings also suggested that the female students chose significantly more female-dominated Careers than their male counterparts. Similarly, students from female-dominated families chose more female-denominated careers than those from male-dominated families. Among the recommendations was that since it was found that students in the present study appeared to sex-stereotype careers, more guidance and counselling co-ordinators should be trained in order to counsel students to choose career according to their abilities and not their sex. The findings are discussed in relation to pervious findings and recommendations made based on the present findings.

Students who are afraid of being judged negatively are experience of an anxiety which is called physical appearance anxiety. Social relations refer the relationship between two or more individuals through communication. Students have higher to encounter physical appearance anxiety towards social relations. This study was conducted in senior high school, in Mandaue City, Cebu Philippines. This research design used a descriptive-correlation to assess and to know the students physical appearance anxiety towards social relations using the rating scale researcher made questionnaire among grade 11 and 12 Senior High School student. Moreover, the quantitative data were analyzed through a weighted mean and processed by using a chi-square. It reveals that when a student experience physical appearance anxiety can affects in their social relations. There is a significant association between physical appearance anxiety regards with social relations. This implies that physical appearance anxiety impacts social relations of senior high school students. Hence, the students are expected to face the consequences of physical appearance anxiety positively to cope up the negative impact of anxiety in physical appearance. The researcher recommended that the teachers may guide and help the students in facing anxiety in body image and looks and anti-bullying measures be observed.

The study investigated the factors influencing low academic performance of Kongo Senior High School Students in the Kongo District in the Upper East District. The Objectives of the study were to: identify the teacher factors that contribute to the low academic performance of students in Kongo Senior High School, identify how students’ attitude contribute to low academic achievement and indicate how school physical facilities contribute to low academic performance of students. The study also indicated the difference in perception between teachers and students with regard to ways teachers contribute to low academic achievement of students, indicate the difference in perception between teachers and students with regard to how school physical facilities contribute to low academic performance of students and indicate the perception between teachers and students about how students’ attitude contribute to low academic performance. The descriptive survey design was used for the study. A self-designed questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of .73 was used to gather data from a sample of 154 respondents. Purposive sampling method was used to select the school. Simple random sampling method was used to select student participants while convenient sampling method was used to select teachers for the study. The study revealed that teachers did not give feedback regularly to students. It was also found that students were not active in lesson. The study showed that the school did not have enough classroom furniture to to aid teaching and learning. Therefore, it was suggested that teachers should regularly give feedback on students’ work for them to know how they are doing in their subjects. It was also recommended that stakeholders of education should provide enough furniture for the school.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model-model permainan Aktivitas Luar kelas (ALK) yang layak digunakan sebagai materi pembelajaran penjas, serta efektif untuk mengembangkan ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) pengumpulan informasi di lapangan, (2) menganalisis informasi yang telah dikumpulkan, (3) mengembangkan produk awal, (4) validasi ahli dan revisi, (5) uji coba skala kecil dan  revisi, (6) uji coba skala besar dan revisi, dan (7) pembuatan produk final. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas X-D dan XI-IPA 4 dari SMA N I Prambanan berjumlah 66 orang. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas X-G, X-H, XI-IPS 3, dan XI-BHS dari SMA N I Prambanan berjumlah 132 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu; (1) pedoman wawancara, (2) skala nilai, (3) pedoman observasi permainan, (4) pedoman observasi keefektifan permainan, (5) pedoman observasi terhadap guru pelaku uji coba, dan (6) rubrik penilaian siswa. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian berupa tujuh model permainan yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran penjas, hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 100% dari data hasil kuesioner skala nilai, observasi model permainan, observasi keefektifan permainan, dan observasi guru pelaku uji coba. Model permainan juga efektif untuk mengembangkan ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, yang dibuktikan dengan terjadinya peningkatan persentase nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 21%. Kata kunci: model, permainan, aktivitas luar kelas, kognitif, afektif, psikomotorik THE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY GAME MODEL TO DEVELOP THE ASPECT OF COGNITIVE, AFFECTIVE, AND PSYCHOMOTOR OF THE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS Abstract This study aims at producing outdoor activity game models which are proper to be used for physicall education learning and developing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains for senior high school students. This educational research and development was carried out following the steps of developing research, consisting of: (1) collecting information, (2) information analysis, (3) developing initial product, (4) expert validation and revision, (5) preliminary field test and revision, (6) main field test and revision, and (7) making the final product. The small field try out is done for the students of the class X-H and XI-IPA 3 from SMA N 1 Prambanan, with the total number of students 66. The big field try out is done for the students of class X-G, X-H, XI-IPS, and XI Bahasa from SMA N 1 Prambanan, with the total number students 132. The data instruments collecting which were used were: (1) interview guide, (2) rating scale, (3) observation guide for games observation, (4) observation guide for games effectiveness, and (5) observation guide for perpetrator teachers, (6) scoring rubric for measuring student’s work. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study in the form of seven models of the game are proper and effective to be used in physicall education, this is proved by percentage result about 100% from score scale questioner data, game model observation, observation for the offender trial teacher. Besides, the game is also effective for developing the aspect of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor which is proved by the increasing of percentage average of the students about 21%. Mathematics is seen as the bedrock for scientific, technological and economic advancement of any country. The study explored the perceived causes of low academic performance of Senior High School students in core mathematics in the Kumasi Metropolis of Ghana. The study used the descriptive survey design with quantitative approach. Multi-stage sampling procedures were used to select a sample of 431 respondents (381 students and 50 core mathematics teachers). Students and teachers’ questionnaires were used to collect data for the study. Means and standard deviations were used to analyse the data that was gathered. The findings of the study revealed that school-environment, teachers and students’ factors such as inadequate teaching and learning materials, lateness and absenteeism, inability of teachers to complete their syllabus, students being unhappy in core mathematics classes and poor attitudes toward core mathematics as contributors to the low performance in core mathematics. Among others, recommendations were made based on enforcing the necessary laws by stakeholders in education to curb lateness and absenteeism, provision of TLMs and exhibition of good attitudes towards core mathematics.

Social Studies as a subject in Ghana, has the potentials of teaching functional knowledge and desirable values into students for fostering national unity and consciousness. This study sought to find out the national unity and national consciousness contents in junior and secondary school social studies curricula in Ghanaian schools as well as the perception of students on social studies' role in promoting national unity. The study adopted a descriptive survey design with content analysis. A sample of 208 Form Three Senior High School students from Ofori Panin Senior High School was selected through a convenience sampling technique. Findings of the study showed that contents for the promotion of national unity and national consciousness as part of social studies education were moderately provided for in the JHS and SHS syllabi. Students also have a favourable view of social studies education as an instrument for the promotion of national unity and consciousness. However, the teaching and learning of the subject is challenged by the inadequate period allocation on the time table for SHS, non-use of TLMs by teachers, and overloaded syllabus.

The study deals with the developing interactive media for senior high school students. The objective of this study is to find out how to develop interactive media for better speaking skill of senior high school students. The research was conducted by using Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this research was 2016/2017 students of the eleventh grade of Class XI IPA4 in SMAN 1 Batang Kuis. The number of the students was 30 students. The data of this study was collected by using need analysis questionnaire and experts’ judgment. Need analysis questionnaire was calculated by using percentage to get the information of students’ need before developing interactive media. Experts’ judgment was calculated by using likert data, mean and criteria interval of expert judgment to know the validity of interactive media which has been developed. After the data analyzed, it was found that the experts’ judgment result was 4.80 which had a very good criteria interval. The result of the research find that interactive media is a very good to be used in teaching speaking skill.
