Athletic performance is the physical and mental effort of an individual or a sports team to win and defeat the other person or team. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of athletic self-efficacy and athletic perfectionism in predicting athletic performance of athletic students of Gazi University. The method of this study is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population includes all student athletes of Gazi University, which is 360 people. To determine the sample size, Cochran’s sample size estimation formula was used and the number of samples was equivalent to 186 individuals selected by simple random sampling method. Standard questionnaires on athletic self-efficacy, athletic perfectionism and athletic performance were used to collect data. The data were analyzed using SPSS 24 software. Descriptive statistics for quantitative variables were presented as mean and standard deviation. The regression coefficient was used to determine the role of athletic self-efficacy and perfectionism in predicting students’ athletic performance.Athletic self-efficacy and athletic perfectionism play an important role in predicting athletic performance of student athletes. Athletic self-efficacy and athletic perfectionism predicted 0.54 and 0.46 (p < 0.05) of changes in athletic performance, respectively. As athletic self-efficacy and athletic perfectionism increase, so does athletic performance in student athletes. Coaches are advised to pay attention not only to physical condition but also to psychological characteristics and especially to indicators of perfectionism and self-efficacy when selecting players.

One of the most important challenges in sports science is the factors that influence the acquisition and maintenance of athletic success. Nowadays, success in sports is not only focused on the quality of an athlete’s performance. The method of this study is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population includes all students from Trabzon University, which are 340 people. Cochran’s sample size estimation formula was used to determine the sample size, and the number of samples was equivalent to 181 individuals selected by the simple random sampling method. The following standard questionnaires were used to collect information. Roberts et al. (1998) Athletic Success Questionnaire, Vealey et al. (1988) Athletic Self-Confidence Questionnaire and Gaudreau & Blondin (2002) Coping Strategies Questionnaire were used for data collection. Data were analysed using SPSS software, version 22. Descriptive statistics were presented as mean and standard deviation for quantitative variables and frequency and relative frequency percentage for qualitative variables. The regression coefficient was used to determine the sources of athletic self-confidence and coping strategies in predicting athletic success. The results show that athletic self-confidence has a significant effect on students’ athletic success (p <0.01, B = 0.54) and that coping strategies have a significant effect on students’ athletic success (p <0.01, B = 0.59).Therefore, it can be concluded that the more athletic self-confidence and coping strategies increase, the greater their athletic success. Encouraging student-athletes to participate in group.

Psychological factors have been significantly confirmed in athletic performance, sports injury prevention, sports rehabilitation, and as an effective means of managing stress and anxiety in competitions. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of competitive anxiety on the injury level of student-athletes of Karadeniz Technical University. The method of this research is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population includes all athletes of Karadeniz Technical University, which are equal to 320 people. To determine the sample size, Cochran’s sample size estimation formula was used and the number of samples was 175, the gender random sampling method selected. First, to report sports injuries to describe the extent of injuries in the limbs (upper limbs, lower limbs, and trunk) and different parts of the body (joints, muscles, and bones), the report form of sports injuries was used and SCAT questionnaire was used to measure competitive anxiety. We analyzed data using SPSS software. We used regression because of the normality of the data in competitive anxiety tests and the occurrence of sports injuries. The research findings show that the average competitive anxiety of male athletes is 14.11 and the competitive anxiety of female athletes is 14.49. Competitive anxiety also has a significant positive effect on sports injury. The beta coefficient also shows that competitive anxiety predicts 0.33 changes in sports injury. Therefore, it can be said that as the level of competitive anxiety of athletic students increases, so does their level of injury, and to control sports injuries, mental skills should be increased and we should control the competitive anxiety of athletes.

Since urban space is one of the important places that tourism takes place, in order to create stability in tourism, the interaction between tourism planning and urban sustainable development should be investigated with regard to cultural elements. Lifestyle is derived from culture as a social phenomenon and affects it and is a reflection of human thoughts in relation with behavior, ethics and culture. Therefore, this aim of this research is to investigate the role of lifestyle in urban tourism sustainable development in Esfahan city, the third most populous city in Iran. This research’s goal is Practical and developmental and about the origin and method, it is descriptive, analytical and casual that has been done in a field research method. The statistical populations of this research are: tourism custodians, tourism experts, national tourists who have travelled to Esfahan city and local residents of all 15 municipal districts of the city. Simple random sampling method was utilized and 838 questionnaires were gathered from 4 statistical populations. In order to analyze the data, factor analysis test was utilized by smart PLS software. The results show that there are meaningful connections among the variables “lifestyle”, “sustainable development” and “urban tourism”. The most frequent factor that was selected by respondents for the concept of lifestyle in the statistical population was sociocultural factor (such as: visiting relatives and friends and attending soirees, traditional foods and drinks festivals, the desirability of Esfahan city in order to spend leisure time, the willingness toward group entertainment). For the concept “urban tourism”, all the populations chose urban texture significantly (such as: revival of workshops for producing traditional clothes, hand-made attractions, systematizing historical areas, developing sidewalk routes, constructing modern entertaining centers and systematizing landscapes and providing equipment for parks). About the sustainable development and its multi-dimensional nature, however, different factors were selected by respondents which in order of importance and frequency are economic, environmental, urban management, sociocultural, urban texture and political factors. Among the recommendations, a few can be stated: arranging cultural plans with a focus on soiree and elders’ reunions, holding traditional and religious festivals in different parts of the city, improving the condition of the existing theme parks and diversifying leisure and entertainment facilities of Esfahan city and pitching in municipal management and being parallel with plans of different organization in city. Especially by mayoralty as a trustee for city and cultural heritage could be mentioned as a tourism trustee.

Religion is so rich, comprehensive and complex that its different aspects exhibit differently in different perspectives and attitudes. Good employees express their opinions and beliefs honestly and participate in the organisational activities. In other words, they take actions that are not necessary but are useful for colleagues and organisations. These behaviours, called extra-role or organisational citizenship behaviours (OCB), refer to activities that are inherently spontaneous and conscious and are not directly and explicitly predicted by the organisation’s formal reward system, but generally enhance the organisation’s efficiency. The importance of such behaviours in religious and spiritual environments increases. Hence, this study aimed to determine the role of spiritual intelligence in exhibiting citizenship behaviours in the organisation. Therefore, 5000 employees of 40 manufacturing and services companies working in the education, finance, insurance and food sectors were selected by simple random sampling method as the statistical population of the study. Then, standard questionnaires were distributed amongst the participants, necessary data were collected and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyse data. The results indicated a positive and significant relationship between spiritual intelligence and citizenship behaviours in organisations. Finally, the Structural Equation Model (SEM) results in linear structural relations (LISREL) showed that spiritual intelligence affects the citizenship behaviours (p = 0.68).Contribution: This article therefore contributes to the spirituality and spiritual intelligence of employees in the organisation as an aspect of religion.
