Abstract. This study is on problems faced by senior High School (SMA) student in Bandung in obtaining information through movies. In other part of this study, writer also tries to find motivations, evaluations and expectations of  those students on Indonesian movies. In this study contained about the deepening one aspect of the research results that provide an overview the problem of senior high school students in relation to the four aspects such as socialization , family (parents, brothers, sisters , and other relatives) , peers (good friends at school and friends outside of school), school ( regarding subject teachers, facilities, school fees) as well as mass media . Also covered are about the causes of these problems , as well as the way or the efforts taken by senior high school students to solve it. The approach in these study used mix of quantitative and qualitative method with descriptive analysis. Analysis made through the problem-solving orientation with attention to the passive effort (effort doesn't reflect an act of concrete) and the active one (reflecting the concrete  effort that could provide a way out problem solving). Keywords : Adolescent, Film, Urban Abstrak. Tulisan ini memfokuskan pada masalah yang terjadi di kalangan pelajar SMA di Kota Bandung yang menjadikan film sebagai media informasi. Pada beberapa bagian tulisan ini, penulis pun mencoba menemukan berbagai motivasi, evaluasi dan pengharapan dari para pelajar tersebut terhadap perfilman Indonesia. Dalam tulisan ini dibahas mengenai pendalaman dari salah satu aspek hasil penelitian yang memberikan gambaran tentang persoalan pelajar SMA dalam kaitannya dengan empat aspek sosialisasi, yaitu keluarga (orang tua, kakak, adik, dan kerabat lain), teman sebaya (baik teman di sekolah maupun teman di luar sekolah), sekolah (menyangkut guru mata pelajaran, fasilitas, biaya sekolah) serta media masa. Disamping itu juga digambarkan tentang penyebab dari persoalan tersebut, serta cara atau upaya yang ditempuh oleh pelajar SMA dalam memecahkannya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah mix method (data kualitatif dan kuantitatif). Analisis upaya yang dilakukan melalui orientasi pemecahan masalah dengan memperhatikan sifat upaya tersebut yaitu upaya yang sifatnya pasif (upaya tersebut tidak mencerminkan suatu tindakan konkrit) dan upaya yang sifatnya aktif (mencerminkan usaha konkrit yang dapat memberikan jalan keluar pemecahan persoalan). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi remaja untuk menonton film sudah menunjukkan tingkat yang menggembirakan, dimana remaja dalam menonton film didasari atas kemauannya sendiri yang dipengaruhi oleh mutu/kualitas dari film.Kata kunci : Remaja, Film, Kota

<p>“Tawur” (quarrel) is very popular recently. Its popularity is getting more and more in line with its publication in some mass media as newspapers, magazines, televisions, and internet. Many groups of society such as Junior and Senior High School students, university students, lecturers, private or government officials, football supporters, and others have done it. They do it in many places like schools, streets, markets, offices, football stadium, etc. In general, it could be classified into two types; physical and spiritual <em>tawur</em>. The physical type is usually done by breaking, burning, torturing, and even killing, while the latter is usually a kind of killing of individual characteristic. So, both have caused many disadvantages either for the Indonesian society or government. Therefore, we must omit <em>tawur</em> that has become part of our culture. Then, we can change it with a culture that is constructive and beneficial in all aspects of Indonesian life.</p><p> </p><p>“Tawur” sangat populer akhir-akhir ini. Kepopulerannya semakin menjadi seiring dengan publikasi di beberapa media seperti koran, majalah, televisi, dan internet. Banyak komunitas masyarakat seperti siswa SMP atau SMP, mahasiswa universitas, dosen, dan karyawan swasta maupun negeri, suporter sepak bola, dan lainnya telah melakukannya. Mereka melakukannya di beberapa tempat seperti sekolah, jalanan, pasar, kantor swasta atau pemerintahan, stadion, dan lain sebagainya. Pada umumnya, dtawuran dapat diklasifikasikan dalam dua bentuk, “tawur” secara fisik dan spiritual. Tawur secara fisik dilakukan dengan merusak, membakar, menyiksa atau bahkan membunuh. Sementara tawur spiritual ialah mengisolasi diri. Selanjutnya, tawur dapat berakhir dengan pembunuhan karakter individu. Jadi, keduanya dapat menyebabkan ketidakberuntungan baik itu bagi masyarakat maupun pemerintah Indonesia. Karenanya, kita harus menghindari Tawur yang telah menjadi bagian dari budaya kita. Lalu, kita bisa mengubahnya dengan budaya yang konstruktif dan bermanfaat di segala aspek kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia.</p>

The study deals with the developing interactive media for senior high school students. The objective of this study is to find out how to develop interactive media for better speaking skill of senior high school students. The research was conducted by using Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this research was 2016/2017 students of the eleventh grade of Class XI IPA4 in SMAN 1 Batang Kuis. The number of the students was 30 students. The data of this study was collected by using need analysis questionnaire and experts’ judgment. Need analysis questionnaire was calculated by using percentage to get the information of students’ need before developing interactive media. Experts’ judgment was calculated by using likert data, mean and criteria interval of expert judgment to know the validity of interactive media which has been developed. After the data analyzed, it was found that the experts’ judgment result was 4.80 which had a very good criteria interval. The result of the research find that interactive media is a very good to be used in teaching speaking skill.
