In this paper the influence of shopping experience on a specific shopping store selection has been investigated. Four dimensions of shopping experience namely Accessibility, Atmosphere, Environment and Service Personnel were proposed, and a 15-item measure is developed to measure 304 consumer perceptions of the shopping experience across different regions of Pakistan using Structural Equation Modelling. Findings indicate that shopping experience enjoyment has a significant positive influence upon customers’ selection of shopping destinations. Furthermore, the study highlights different aspects under which these preferences could be altered such as under gender Influence, economic factors, legal boundaries; these preferences seem to be affected up to a considerable amount and the impact of such factors could not be overlooked.

This study aimed to determine the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic factors on commitment and impact on the performance of employees of Sejahtera Sunindo Trada Company. The populations in this study were employees of Sejahtera Sunindo Trada totaling 100 people. The entire population was sampled, so that the samples were 100 respondents. No sampling technique for this study since used census study which all employees which the workshop became respondents.The analytical tool used in this research was Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Partial Least Square (PLS). The first hypothesis testing showed there was no significant positive influnce between intrinsic factors and commitment by the t value was smaller than the value t table 1.274 < 1.96. The second hypothesis testing showed there was no with significant positive influnce between extrinsic factors with the commitment to the value of t is greater than t table is 1.973 > 1.96. The third hypothesis testing showed no significant positive influnce between commitment and performance and the intrinsic value of the t less than the value t table is 1.181 < 1.96. The fourth hypothesis showed there was no significant positive influence between intrinsic and performance with the value t was greater than t table 3.008 > 1.96. The fifth hypothesis was there no significant positive influence between extrinsic factors and performance by the t value greater than the value t table is 3.864 > 1.96.

The main objective of this study is to examine the impact of ownership structure, dividend policy, debt policy on the value of the firms in Indonesian Stock Exchange. Data used in this research is financial data in the form  financial statements of public companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. The statistical method used to test the hypothesis is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The results of this study  shown that: ownership structure has a significant positive influence to dividend policy. Ownership structure significant negative influence to debt policy. Ownership structure have no influence to value of the firms. Dividend policy significant negative influence to debt policy. Dividend policy have no influence to value of the firms. Purpose This paper aims to investigate the impact of consumers’ perception of usability of product packaging on impulse buying in terms of its shape, color, material, label and size. Design/methodology/approach A structural equation model was used for testing the conceptual model. The present research is an applied research and a descriptive survey. By using non-probability sampling, 388 customers of different malls in Shiraz City (Iran) were selected and surveyed by using questionnaires. Findings Results showed that appropriate material, shape and labeling of packaging have a significant positive influence on consumers’ perception of usability of product packaging, while color and size of packaging do not have an impact on consumers’ perception of a product usability. Moreover, results showed that consumers’ perception of the usability of packaging has a significant positive influence on impulse buying. Consumers’ mood and time pressure had also positive influence on impulse buying, but their moderating role in their influence of consumers’ perception on impulse buying decision was not supported. Research limitations/implications Although this research contributes to the product management literature, it has some limitations. For instance, the research model was tested in only one city in Iran (Shiraz). Besides, it is specific to only two product categories and concentrates mainly on consumers’ mood and time pressure as moderating factors. Originality/value To the best of authors’ knowledge, this study is the first research which examines the structural relationship of packaging elements on consumers’ perception of reusability of packaging and impulse buying while considering consumers’ moods and time pressure as moderator variables.

The purpose this study is to examine the impact of Dining Atmospherics, Perceived Value, Customer Satisfaction, and Behavioral Intentions in Restaurant Double Decker at Solo Baru, Indonesia. We distribute questionnaires to 150 consumers of Restaurant Double Decker Solo Baru who visited more than three times. Using Structural Equation Model (SEM) assisted by AMOS application program, the results showed that Behavioral Intention have a significant positive influence on the dependent variable that is Atmospherics, and the dependent variable that is Atmospherics also have a significant positive effect on the mediating variable, Customer Satisfaction, and Perceived Value, then the Customer Satisfaction has a significant positive influence on independent variables of Behavioral Intention.

Objectives:Online Health Communities (OHCs) are increasingly being used by patients in the Web 2.0 era. Today's patients have instant access to a great deal of medical information and contacts. Despite the considerable development of OHCs, little is known regarding the impact on the patient–physician relationship. This research aims at filling this gap and examines how interpersonal trust on peer-to-peer OHCs influences two key relational variables, namely patient trust in the physician and patient satisfaction with the physician. It also investigates their influences on the patient's attitude toward the physician.Methods:Drawing on both the relational and medical literatures, we propose a research model that brings out the relationships between interpersonal trust in OHCs, and patients’ trust, satisfaction and attitude toward the physician. We then conduct a quantitative survey of 512 OHC users in France, using structural equation modeling to test our hypotheses.Results:Our findings indicate that interpersonal trust in OHCs exerts a positive influence on both patients’ trust in and satisfaction with their physician. It also highlights that these two relational variables have a positive influence on patient attitude toward the physician. Our findings also indicate that patient trust influences patient satisfaction with the physician.Conclusions:This research highlights the importance of OHCs, which can be seen as valuable instruments for enhancing patient–physician relationships. It shows that healthcare managers should seek to enhance interpersonal trust among OHC users, because this trust has a positive influence on patient satisfaction with, trust in and attitude toward the physician.

Abstract Schumpeter's idea of creative destruction (CD) explains innovation functions in organisations. This paper investigates the CD concept in engineering firms by explaining how technical opportunity (TO) transforms into corporate entrepreneurship (CE) actions once opportunities have a market orientation (MO). A survey conducted using a structured questionnaire with 132 managers in engineering firms in Pakistan. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Square (PLS) approach has been used to analyse the data. Results reveal that MO and TO exerts a positive influence on CE. MO is the reason for the emergence of TO, which is exploited by CE's in engineering firms. CD intensifies the impact of MO on TO significantly. Opportunity recognition in engineering firms is distinguished and bounded by MO and technical viability. Engineering firms need to identify gaps in the market through naturally occurring obsolescence of products and services (CD) to create TO with appropriate MO. This study has revived a classical debate over opportunity recognition by proposing a CE model by incorporating external factors. The Schumpeterian opportunity recognition process and CD have been explained for engineering firms that are distinguished from other types of firms. Kirznerian opportunity recognition view has also been debated to dialect Schumpeterian view.

This study aims to examine and validate the impact of big data analytical capabilities (individual, organizational, and technological) on bank performance via the mediating role of Fintech innovation in commercial banks operating in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Based on a literature review, resource-based theory, and financial innovation theory, an integrated conceptual framework was developed to guide the study. A quantitative survey approach was used, and the data was collected from 236 banks' senior managers (IT, financial, and marketers). Amos 21 structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze and verify the study variables. The main findings revealed that big data analytical capabilities had a significant positive influence on bank performance. Fintech innovation acted as partial mediators in this relationship.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between attitude functions and attitude towards social media advertising. Additionally, this study also examines the relationship between attitude towards social media advertising and purchase intention. Design/methodology/approach The data was collected via an online survey among Malaysian Muslim participants. Quantitative analysis was used to test the hypothesis. A total of 280 respondents participated in the online survey but only 264 responses fit the analysis. The data was analysed via SPSS and partial least squares structural equation modelling. Findings The findings of this paper show that attitude functions, namely, utilitarian, value-expressive, ego-defensive and religiosity have a significant positive influence on attitude towards social media advertising, whilst knowledge function was found to be insignificant. Attitude towards social media advertising was also found to have a significant positive influence on purchase intention. Practical implications Advertisers should also consider the religious aspects of Muslim consumers and their level of sensitivity as Muslims nowadays are well-informed. This is to avoid controversies and have a better understanding of their consumer needs. Originality/value This is one of the few studies examining the influence of religiosity in the social media advertising of controversial products such as bubble tea.

The purpose of this chapter is to analyze the opportunities for entrepreneurship, the behavior of the entrepreneurial orientation, and the orientation towards the market that is developed in the SME, and the effects which exert in the innovation and the profitability in the field of SMEs. The research is based on a sample of 1012 commercial, services, and industrial enterprises in the Northwest region of Mexico. The data collection was carried out during the period from September to December 2016, through a self-directed survey to the manager. The relations estimates have been tested through the Structural Equation System (Hervas-Oliver, Sempere-Ripoll, and Boronat-Moll) based on the variance with the PLS technique, supported by the software SmartPLS version 3.2.6. The results demonstrate that entrepreneurial orientation has a significant influence on innovation activities and on the profitability of SMEs. Also, the innovation has a significant positive influence on the profitability. In addition, market orientation shows significant and negative effects on the profitability of SMEs. For these types of companies, it is important that they focus their efforts on customers, the market and the main competitors. This investigation contributes to the development of the literature on entrepreneurial behavior and dynamic capabilities.

The paper examines the impact of earnings quality (EQ) on the dividend policy of enterprises in Vietnam. We consider the EQ in terms of multiple dimensions such as accruals quality, earnings persistence, revelance and timeliness of earning information. The study uses regression method according to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), with EQ as an intermediate variable, data collected at enterprises listed on the stock market in Vietnam in the period of 2010 - 2018, with 4541 observations. The research results have found that EQ has a positive influence on dividend policy on all aspects of EQ. The empirical research results are a useful basis to help enterprises improve EQ, thereby helping business in implementing appropriate dividend policy.
