This study aims to analyze the effect of the distribution funds of Zakat Infaq Shadaqah (ZIS), social assistance expenditure and subsidy expenditure on poverty in Indonesia 2013-2017 period. The sample from this study consisted of ZIS data obtained at the National Alms Agency (known as BAZNAS). Then social assistance expenditure and subsidy expenditure and the latest poverty data obtained at the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). In this research, the method used multiple linear regression analysis by testing classical assumptions. The results of this study are according to the results of the F test that the three independent variables (ZIS, social assistance expenditure and subsidy expenditure) have a simultaneous effect on the dependent variable (poverty) by having a significance value of 0,000, which means less than 0.05.Furthermore, it is supported by the results of the T-test that the three independent variables partially have a significant effect on the dependent variable, with a significance value in the ZIS variable was 0,000. Then, social assistance expenditure was 0.025.  The last, subsidy expenditure was 0,000. It means lower than 0.05

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Intellectual Capital on the Company's Financial Performance in the Kompas 100 index companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Multiple linear regression analysis is used as the analytical technique. The results of hypothesis testing (t-test) prove that Intellectual Capital influences the Company's Financial Performance. This means that the better the Intellectual Capital owned by the compass index company 100, the higher the company's financial performance. Keywords: Intellectual Capital and Financial Performance.ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Intellectual Capital terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam Kompas 100 index yang terdaftar pada on the Bursa Efek Indonesia.

Muscle quality is well-known to decrease with aging and is a risk factor for metabolic abnormalities. However, there is a lack of information on race-associated differences in muscle quality and other neuromuscular features related to functional performance. This study aimed to compare muscle quality, function, and morphological characteristics in Japanese and Brazilian older individuals. Eighty-four participants aged 65–87 years were enrolled in the study (42 Japanese: 23 men, 19 women, mean age 70.4 years; 42 Brazilians: 23 men, 19 women, mean age 70.8 years). Echo intensity (EI) and muscle thickness (MT) of the quadriceps femoris were measured using B-mode ultrasonography. A stepwise multiple linear regression analysis with EI as a dependent variable revealed that MT was a significant variable for Japanese participants (R2 = 0.424, P = 0.001), while MT and subcutaneous adipose tissue (SCAT) thickness were significant variables for Brazilian participants (R2 = 0.490, P = 0.001). A second stepwise multiple linear regression analysis was performed after excluding MT and SCAT thickness from the independent variables. Sex and age for Japanese participants (R2 = 0.381, P = 0.001) and lean body mass and body mass index for Brazilian participants (R2 = 0.385, P = 0.001) were identified as significant independent variables. The present results suggest that MT is closely correlated with muscle quality in Japanese and Brazilian older individuals. Increases in muscle size may induce decreases in intramuscular adipose tissue and/or connective tissues, which are beneficial for reducing the risks of metabolic impairments in Japanese and Brazilian older individuals.

This study aims to examine factors that influence Murabahah margin income. Spefically it investigates the effect of the Central Bank of Indonesia Rate (BI Rate), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (OEOI), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), and wadiah savings on Murabahah margin income at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. The method used in this study is quantitative by using the multiple linear regression analysis to test the variables. 12 Islamic Commercial Banks were selected as the sample using a purposive sampling method. With 60 data observations for 5 years, the findings indicate that all the independent variables simultaneously affect the dependent variable. Partially, BI Rate does not affect Murabahah margin income, while in contrast, Operating Expenses to Operating Income (OEOI), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), and wadiah savings affect the Murabahah margin income.

This study aims to determine the Effect of advertising, perceptions and consumer knowledge on product purchases at PT. Javas Tripta Mandala. The analytical tool used is tabulating the questionnaire, collecting data in the form of validity and reliability tests. The hypothesis in this study is the Effect of advertising, perceptions and knowledge of consumers on product purchases to test this hypothesis used multiple linear regression analysis tools. The results of the research instrument obtained based on the validity test showed that all questions in the questionnaire were declared valid. To test the reliability of all variables, the Cronbach’s Alpha value is obtained> 0.6, so it is declared reliable. Hypothesis testing based on the F test, t test and Adjusted R2 shows that there is a significant effect of advertising, perceptions and consumer knowledge on product purchases.

This research was conducted to investigate the effect of banking performance on stock returns as moderated by corporate governance. The population used in the study were all banks listed on the IDX for the period 2015-2019. The sample in this study were 30 banks selected using purposive sampling method. The analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS 25 and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis and moderating regression analysis (MRA). The results of this study indicate that banking performance in the form of LDR, CAR, and ROA partially and simultaneously affects stock returns, NPL partially and simultaneously has no effect on stock returns, governance is able to moderate the relationship between LDR, CAR, and ROA on stock returns, but unable to moderate the relationship between NPL and stock returns.

The study sought to examine the extent to which directive and achievement-oriented path-goal leadership styles influence employee performance of coffee trading companies in Kenya. The positivism philosophy was adopted and the design used was a descriptive correlational research design. The population for the study was 180 senior managers of coffee trading companies in Kenya. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. The descriptive statistics were mean and standard deviation while the inferential statistical analysis included correlational analysis, chi-square and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis revealed that directive leadership style negatively and significantly predict employee performance, R2= 0.035, F(1, 114) = 4.141,  p≤ .05, β = -0.153, p≤ .05. Multiple linear regression analysis further revealed that achievement-oriented leadership style positively and significantly predicted employee performance, R2= 0.161, F(1, 116) = 20.686, p ≤. .05, β = 0.391, p≤ .05. The study provided a unique contribution to the theory and practice of leadership by contributing to knowledge in the application of Path-goal leadership styles in coffee trading companies. The study findings led to the conclusion that the use of a directive leadership style in coffee trading companies can adversely affect performance and leaders should exercise caution if they have to use this style.
