This study aimed at identifying the prevailing leadership styles of managers, the organizational environment prevailing in the public schools in Amman, furthermore the relation between these leadership styles and the organizational climate. Thus, the researchers used the descriptive approach on a sample consisting of (55) teachers of the physical education in these schools, of experience between (10-15) years. Collecting the study data, a questionnaire of the leadership style (Shehadeh, 2008) was used after been modified. It consisted of (2) domains (the dictatorial style, the democratic style) with (15) paragraphs. In addition, the questionnaire of (Ahmed, 2008) was modified to measure the organizational climate. It consisted of (4) domains (communication, organization, working conditions, administrative laws) with (20) paragraphs. However, the five-dimensional Likert scale was used in both tools. The results showed that the dominant pattern in the public schools in Amman is the dictatorial pattern, with mean average of (4), which affected the organizational climate in these schools of an average effect of (2.79). The results also showed a positive correlation between the democratic leadership and the organizational climate (0.61). Accordingly, this research concluded that the leadership style based on consultation, participation in decision-making and teachers’ personal value esteem has a significant role in the organizational climate.

Conflict among leaders and subordinates is natural meanwhile same is observed among headteachers and teachers; if it is not managed appropriately can create an adverse impact on organizational climate and subsequently on performance. A plethora of literature looked at the leadership styles that have direct/indirect influence on cooperative and non-cooperative conflict management practices. The present study examines the compatibility between leadership styles and cooperative and non-cooperative conflict management strategies of the secondary schools in Punjab. 360 randomly selected head teachers participated in this study. Two questionnaires were used, one for leadership styles and the other for cooperative and non-cooperative conflict management strategies. The results indicated that cooperative strategies of conflict management such as accommodation, collaboration and compromising are much helpful in a place where democratic leadership style was being practised, and authoritative leaders intended to follow non-cooperative such as competing and avoiding strategies in order to manage conflicts in schools. Therefore, it can be inferred that Headteachers who perceived to exhibit a more democratic style of leadership adopted cooperative strategies of conflict management. The headteachers who were perceived to exhibit a more autocratic leadership style opted for non-cooperative strategies of conflict management.

The background of the authors doing research is that in 2019 the principal got second nomination as head of the school to perform grades. SD Islamic Plus As-Sa’adatain has many achievements in Islamic fields and excelled within Islamic education. So reaserchers want to know the principal’s leadership style and the headmaster’s efforts to improve Islamic education. The purpose of research is to know the headmaster’s leadership style in improving Islamic education at SD Islamic Plus As-Sa’adatain Cinere Depok. The method of research that the writer uses is qualitative research wtih a descriptive approach. This is because the writer described or presented a complete picture of the pricipal’s leadership style in improving Islamic education at SD Islamic Plus As-Sa’adatain Cinere Depok. Research shows that the leadership style used by the Islamic primary school principal plus ASAs-Sa’adatain is used as a favor to democratic leadership styles. The headmaster principal of SD Islam Plus As-Sa’adatain in solving problems and making decisions is always done with deliberation. The headmaster of principle leading (teachers, staff, students) is that the principal does not depend on formal, rigid power, being casual, firm, flexible, dicipline not too formal but is still responsible and able to mentor. The way headmaster Islamic elementary school plus As-Sa’adatain communicates with subbordinates (teachers, staff and students) of good, relaxed, courteous, polite, warm, harmonious, firm, depply communicative, and authoritative. The quality of Islamic education at Islamic SD Islam Plus As-Sa’adatain is already good, from its planning, its process, and its results

This study investigated the mediating effect of organizational climate on the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership styles on innovative behaviour. 1 1 15th International Entrepreneurship Forum (15th IEF) Conference Conference Theme The Globalisation and Internationalisation of SMEs AND New Ventures: Travels with Eclectic Charlie, Digital Mary, Networked Nadia and Impactful Shona. Venice, Italy 14–16 December 2016. The effect of each component of transformational and transactional leadership styles on innovative behaviour was also investigated. A sample of 3,180 respondents from 52 South African companies participated in this research. Four main hypotheses and six sub-hypotheses were tested using multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that indeed organizational climate mediates the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership styles on innovative behaviour as well as their components. The study substantiated the expected positive relationship between transformational leadership style and innovative behaviour. Furthermore, the results showed that among the components of transformational leadership styles, inspirational motivation and intellectual stimulation influence innovative behaviour positively. This study showed that in an environment conducive to innovation, the transactional leadership style has no influence in enhancing employees’ innovative behaviour. This study provided new insight into the nature of the relationship between leadership styles, organizational climates and innovative behaviour.

This study reported on here aimed to determine the relationship between leadership styles (democratic, autocratic and transformational) and organisational cynicism in addition to examining whether leadership styles predict organisational cynicism. The data were collected from 426 teachers (183 male and 243 female teachers) from primary and secondary schools in the central districts of Mersin. The sample was formed by availability sampling, which is one of the improbable sampling techniques. Data were collected using the Leadership Style Scale (Taş, Çelik & Tomul, 2007) and the Organizational Cynicism Scale (Kalağan, 2009). Descriptive statistics, t-test, correlation and multiple regression analysis results show that views of teachers on autocratic and democratic leadership differ significantly by gender and also that male and female teachers experience behavioural cynicism to different extents. The findings of the study also reveal that all leadership styles were associated with all sub-dimensions of organisational cynicism. Furthermore, the leadership styles were found to be significant predictors of all 3 types of organisational cynicism. As a result, leadership styles of school administrators are associated to a considerable extent with organisational cynicism experienced by teachers. Thus, it would be recommended that school administrators attend training or seminars on leadership behaviour and also be evaluated by their subordinates.

The aim of this study is the creative problem-solving capacity of the organization with leadership behaviors of human resources managers and employees to examine the relationship between career satisfaction and is tested empirically. Research within the scope of the required data structured questionnaire method, operating in the province of Aydin was obtained from 130 employees working in five star hotels. Democratic leadership style according to the factor analysis, easygoing, participants converter, and releasing autocratic leadership dimensions were determined. According to the analysis, the dependent variable with a significant level of research and positive leadership style has been determined that no relationships. Regression analysis revealed that the leadership of the relationship with the creative problem-solving capacity of democratic leadership in style when found to be stronger than other leadership styles, while the variable describing the career of the employee satisfaction level of the maximum it was concluded that the creative problem-solving capacity of the organization. Research in the context of human resources on the very important for organizations, leadership behavior, creative problem-solving capacity and career satisfaction studies analyzing the relationships between variables it seems to be quite limited. The discovery by analyzing the relationship between the aforementioned variables, can make significant contributions to knowledge in the literature and are expected to form the basis for future research.

<p>The aim of this study is to investigate and examine the effect of leadership style on employee productivity, identify and examine the effect of organizational climate on employee productivity, to identify and examine the effect of the work ethic on employee productivity, in order to know and examine the variables that have the most impact level dominant on employee productivity PT. HP Metals Indonesia part Powder Coating.</p><p>This research is an explanatory research or study the explanation, the research describes causal relationships between variables through hypothesis testing. The numbers of sample in this study are 98 respondents. The independent variables consist of: Leadership styles (X1), Organizational Climate (X2), Work Ethics (X3). The dependent variable in this study is Productivity employee (Y). While, the technique of analysis using multiple linear regression analysis</p>Based on the analysis in this study showed that the variables of leadership style, organizational climate, work ethic on employee productivity responded well by employees. Aspects of leadership style that followed targeted Climate employee srated the organization has also been rated as good, especially on the cooperation between employees and management, while at the work ethic of employee srated very high, especially on adherence to regulations, adherence to labor standards and work ethics. And employee productivity is also very positive response from almost all three elements, namely timeliness, quality of work and quantity of work.

Introduction: The kinds of leadership have been discussed not only in academia but in the corporate world. It has been observed that some types have negatively influenced the organizational environment and the work process. Objective: To analyze the leadership practiced by nursing professionals within the hospital environment and their impacts on the work process and organizational climate. Methods: This is a scoping review whose objective was to map the main concepts about leadership styles and influence, examining and summarizing the existing research gaps. The following databases were used: MEDLINE, LILACS, IBESCS, PUBMED, and ENDENF. Results: Twenty nine articles were selected. The autocratic leadership style was the most cited as unfavorable for maintaining a favorable organizational climate for workers' welfare. Conclusion: It is believed that the leadership practiced by the nurse influences positively or negatively on the corporate environment and well-being at work.

PurposeThis paper aims to report the findings of a study examining the relationship between different leadership styles and engagement through the mediating role of proactive personality.Design/methodology/approachServant leadership, paradoxical leadership, authentic leadership, employee engagement and proactive personality were assessed in an empirical study based on a sample of 348 military personnel in Spain. The questionnaire data were analyzed through SEM using EQS and bootstrapping analysis using the PROCESS macro for SPSS.FindingsThe results reveal that servant leadership style in officers partially impacts their cadets' engagement through proactive personality but that authentic and paradoxical leadership styles do not mediate the relationship. The authors also verify a direct relationship between proactive personality and engagement.Practical implicationsThe study implications advance the literature on leadership in emphasizing new leadership styles to increase proactive personality and engagement in the military context. This study verifies the importance of military leaders fostering servant leadership as an antecedent of proactive personality. Finally, the authors show that servant leadership partially impacts engagement through proactive personality.Originality/valueThis study explores the relationship among servant, paradoxical and authentic leadership styles, proactive personality, and engagement – relationships that have not been explored theoretically and tested empirically in the military context.

Background and objectives. The relationship between leadership styles and job performance draws considerable attention from recent researchers. The main objective of this study was to determine the impact of leadership style (autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire) on job performance from nurse’s points of view at Benghazi Medical Centre. Method. This study was a descriptive questionnaire-based study conducted on 100 nurses working at Benghazi Medical Centre, Libya. To analyze the data (mean, standard deviation, ANOVA test were used. Furthermore, multiple regressions and Pearson correlation were used to determine whether a relationship exists between the independent and dependent variables. Result. Of 100, only 60 questionnaires were completed, giving a response rate of 60%. The findings of this study indicated that democratic was the most dominantly used in the hospital, followed by the autocratic and laissez-faire leadership styles. Whereas, the laissez-faire leadership style had a strong positive and significant impact on performance (R2= .333; P < 0.01). Conclusion. Laissez-faire leadership style positively affected nurses’ performance. Future research that might be relevant to be further explored are worth.
