The paper examines the impact of trust in an agricultural marketing cooperative. The aim is to explore how the trust among members and between members and management affect the commitment of members towards the cooperative (group cohesion) and their satisfaction with the cooperative. Trust is examined from two dimensions: cognitive and affective. Our results have clearly proved that trust has a positive impact on group cohesion and satisfaction. According to the experiences, however, the impact of examined dimensions of trust is differentiated: the statistical models regarded the impact of affective dimensions on group cohesion and members’ satisfaction more important than the impact of cognitive dimension.

Abstract In this paper, we use the OLS regression method to analyse the influencing mechanism of the NFCC on farmers’ adoption of green prevention and control technology and further verify the mediating effect of information acquisition. The results show that the NFCC has a direct effect on the adoption of green prevention and control technology, and information acquisition has a mediating effect. The first stage of cognitive closure has a more significant effect on farmers’ adoption of green prevention and control technology, information acquisition ability has a significant positive impact on farmers’ adoption of green prevention and control technology, and information acquisition has an incomplete mediating effect on the impact of cognitive closure on the adoption of green prevention and control technologies. This paper further studies and verifies the action path of two dimensions of the NFCC on farmers’ adoption of green prevention and control technology. The results have certain theoretical significance for expanding the knowledge of farmers’ green prevention and control technology behaviour and further enriching the research on farmers’ cognition.

Narcissistic leaders supersede others opinions while dealing with different projects is an area of concern because they create the risk of various projects' success. However, risk management technology can balance this leadership to mitigate the project failure risk. Therefore, this study aims to examine the impact of narcissistic leadership on project success with the moderating role of risk management technology. A self-administrated questionnaire measured the narcissistic leadership constructs with two dimensions (i) admiration, (ii) rivalry as antecedents, risk management technology as moderating construct, and project success with five dimensions (i) cost (ii) schedule (iii) quality (iv) performance and (v) operating environment as an outcome from 242 IT professionals working in IT firms. Using structural equation modelling, the results reveal that narcissistic admiration has a negative significance, but the narcissistic rivalry has no significant impact on project success. Therefore it suggests that narcissistic admiration associated with positive attributes such as high esteem, envy, forgiveness, etc., with an overall motivation to focus on achievements may benefit in success of the project. The results further reveal that risk management technology has no moderating role between narcissistic admiration and rivalry with project success, which suggests risk management technology is not enough to reduce the narcissism leadership to contribute to project success. Further, the results do show the positive impact of risk management technology on project success. The study is helpful for organizational development (OD) professionals, project leaders, and IT firms. The study also provides a new avenue of investigation for academic researchers to tighten up the gap in narcissistic leadership.

The study investigated the impact of children’s literature reception on literacy at children with mild mental retardation in the process designed on the adapted receptive model of children’s literature didactics. An experiment of a one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted on the sample of seven children with mild mental retardation. In the period of one semester their literacy program was supported with children’s literature education according to the adapted model of receptive children’s literature didactics. After that, their reading competence was tested with the Assessment scheme of reading competence (Pečjak at. al., 2011), which was focused on two dimensions of the reading process: reading comprehension and the quantitative and qualitative data of students’ reading performance. Among the last one a) reading speed was measured, b) reading rhythm was observed, c) reading mistakes were counted and classified, d) reading accurateness was observed and e) reading expression was measured. The results show the positive impact of the adapted model of receptive children’s literature didactics on students’ reading competence – the reading speed, the reading rhythm the accurateness of reading performance and the reading expression improved and the number of reading mistakes decreased. Key words: adapted model of children’s literature didactics, children with mild mental retardation, functional literacy, literature reception.

The purpose of the current research was to explore the impact of tablet use for various subjects in Israeli schools on students' perception of learning processes in the cognitive and affective dimensions. For this purpose, 122 ninth and tenth grade students from the Boyar School in Jerusalem completed an online questionnaire. The main hypotheses were that a difference would be found between STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and non-STEM subjects in the weight attributed to the cognitive dimension of tablet use, as well as in the weight attributed to the affective dimension of tablet use. These hypotheses were not confirmed. In contrast, the hypothesis concerning gender differences in the weight attributed to cognitive and affective dimensions was partially confirmed. Males attributed more weight than female adolescents to both the cognitive and affective dimensions of tablet use. A possible explanation of the findings is the male inclination towards STEM subjects that include more cognitive use of learning. In future studies, it is advisable to utilize a larger sample and to thoroughly explore gender differences regarding this topic. Keywords: STEM, tablet, learning processes, educational pedagogy.

The issues of teaching styles represent a constant concern of contemporary pedagogy. The analysis of the determinants of educational styles is aimed at identifying effective style in relation to each educational context according to Fiedler’s contingency model. There are some opinions that effective educational style could be described by the interaction of two dimensions: control or independence and emotionality (Potolea et al., 1989; Iucu, 2008). A previous study conducted in 1939 by Lippitt showed that in the democratic classroom atmosphere, the teacher, as a formal leader, helped to make a central position in the group stratification accessible to all members, and a friendly spirit of work recognition existed between the members - items on co-operation, praise, constructive suggestions, and objective criticism. A dominating type of verbal expression appeared to be the only path left open by which members could strive toward status in autocratic classroom atmosphere (Lippitt, 1939). Previous studies highlighted the impact of culture within they occur on communication skills (Serbanescu, 2009). In these circumstances, we intend to conduct a study, at the level of primary education classes, in order to investigate the relation between the leadership style of the teacher and students achievements. Previous studies recorded better results regarding intrinsic motivation and group cohesion (Soar, 1972). We also intend to investigate the influence of democratic atmosphere on school results in terms of students' emotional potential.    Keywords: Democratic classroom atmosphere; Formal and informal structures in group dynamics; Group cohesion; Results in terms of students' emotional potential
