The role of the marketplace in a city changes from decade to decade. They lose their significance or followings clients’ demands they expand their range of services, creating a unique character and brand. These are places of culture-creating potential, not only of fulfilling basic shopping needs. Six marketplaces of distinct character and impact on the community have been analyzed in order to present their development potential as well as occurring problems. The challenge for many marketplaces, especially smaller ones and those in small towns is the effective development strategy, taking into account current social expectations and consumer trends. When left without a clear vision of the future they often succumb to the competition. On the other hand, when properly developed and transformed they influence the identity of a district or city increasing its multi-functionality. Marketplaces may play a significant role in social integration processes and revitalization of the urban environment in the post-Covid-19 city of tomorrow.

In the chapter, Haq again assuming the role of an advocate of the developing world, spells out various trade policy options for less developed countries—inward looking strategy, outward looking strategy, and regional and sub-regional co-operation. Haq raises questions about the presumed relationship between trade and development and clarifies that trade should not be regarded as the pacesetter in the development strategy for a country but merely as a derivative. Trade strategies, according to Haq, should be embedded in the context of an overall development strategy, not the other way around. He urged developing countries to first define a viable strategy for attacking problems of poverty and inequality and then figuring out trade possibilities geared towards meeting these goals.

Seen as a reflection of the clear vision of some extreme leaders, the overall performance of the entity is achieved today against the backdrop of the innovation process. The value of the company is necessary to become the key element in any entity development strategy. However, it requires a comparative analysis of the entity with other market players or emerging markets. This chapter analyzes the new research directions at the intersection between accounting and management, with the role of potentiating the important valorization of managerial culture and the implementation of an integrated system of performance indicators to accurately determine the value of a company.

Disparity of development, poverty and unemployment is one of the main problems of East Java Province. On the other hand East Java province has great potential fishery. This study aims to analyze the role of the fisheries sub-sector in the regional economy of East Java province, knowing the factors that influence the fisheries development and arrange  the fisheries development strategy in  East Java province. Processing data using descriptive analysis, input-output (IO) and multiple linear regression. Fish processing subsector provide the largest multipliers of employment, output and value added among fisheries subsector. Inland fisheries subsector provide the largest of total linkages between fishery subsector, whereas the marine fisheries subsector have the largest of output value among the fishery subsector. Labor and maritime affairs and fisheries budget have a positive influence on the development of fisheries. Fisheries development strategy should be carried out simultaneously between marine, inland and fisheries processing. Fisheries industrialization strategy is expected to increase the value added of fisheries and reduce the disparity of development, poverty and unemployment.

Abstract The Corinthian church had many issues, among which the dissensions, as can be seen from 1 Corinthians 1-4. There are several theories concerning these dissensions. Some say that there are clearly four parties in the church, according to the slogans in 1 Corinthians 1:12. Others, go to the other extreme and talk about just disagreements among the members of the church, but no real schisms. Between these two extremes are those who seek to make sense of the slogan of allegiance to Christ, the role of Apollos in the dissensions, and ultimately the issue that the Corinthians had with Paul. There is probably some truth in all these theories and most likely the reality was that the Corinthians had preferences among their teachers, of whom the centre of attention were Paul and Apollos, the distinction made between the two were most presumably based on who played better into Corinthians’ social expectations.

Central Lampung is a pineapple production center that supplies fresh pineapples for national demand. On the other hand, Sub-optimal production and marketing, which are still controlled by middlemen, are the main problems in pineapple development. The research aims to identify the potential and needs for innovation, and to formulate a strategy for developing pineapple based on farmer cooperations. The research was conducted from September 2020 in Punggur District, Lampung. Data collection was carried out through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and in-depth interviews with local champions. The SWOT approach as well as IFE and EFE analysis have been determine to the best strategy. The results showed that farmers used the Queen variety from 1970, so that, the quality production decreased. The innovations needed are mainly related to cultivation (irrigation, crop rotation, control of pests). The existence of Farmer-Owned Enterprises in collaboration with BUMDES has the potential to be reactivated into a farmer corporation. The IFE and EFE analysis showed that the strategy that needs to be taken is the development strategy (SO strategy). Therefor, Policies that need to be followed is increasing: The role and skills of extension workers; and the role of farmers group or corporation in pineapple production and marketing.

There is the stereotypical but socially accepted expectation as to the family notion: how it should be structured, how the tasks should be distributed and what functions each member of a family should perform. Social expectations are one-track and unambiguous: one person is to fulfil the role of a woman/wife/mother, and the other that of a man/husband/father. The divisions are clearly defined and every indication of diversity is treated as pathology. I assume that the category of role might be oppressive not only in non-normative families, but in all types, including heterosexual households. Heterosexual family with a child (perceived as norm by the society) might be described as non-normative if norm, i.e. social expectations of the way of fulfilling the role by the father and the mother – is not conformed to the way people see it. The main aim of this article is to denote role oppression (especially in the role of a woman/wife/mother and a man/husband/father) not only in alternative family types (especially homosexual ones,) but in heterosexual families with children as well. The article will try to examine what makes such families non-normative too. This is going to be an analysis of the case study of a heterosexual family with children, whose members do not assume the clearly defined roles of a man/father and a woman/mother, established as the norm. It is significant that the family described themselves as non-normative, because they notice the clash between the existing norm and their way of functioning.

SummaryWe measured total and free protein S (PS), protein C (PC) and factor X (FX) in 393 healthy blood donors to assess differences in relation to sex, hormonal state and age. All measured proteins were lower in women as compared to men, as were levels in premenopausal women as compared to postmenopausal women. Multiple regression analysis showed that both age and subgroup (men, pre- and postmenopausal women) were of significance for the levels of total and free PS and PC, the subgroup effect being caused by the differences between the premenopausal women and the other groups. This indicates a role of sex-hormones, most likely estrogens, in the regulation of levels of pro- and anticoagulant factors under physiologic conditions. These differences should be taken into account in daily clinical practice and may necessitate different normal ranges for men, pre- and postmenopausal women.

In the XIV century. centripetal tendencies began to appear in the Moscow principality. Inside the Russian church, several areas were distinguished. Part of the clergy supported the specificobar form. The other understood the need for transformations in society. As a result, this led to a split in the Russian church in the 15th century for "non-possessors" and "Josephites". The former linked the fate of the future with the ideology of hesychasm and its moral transformation, while the latter sought support in alliance with a strong secular power.

This paper is a contribution to the growing literature on the role of projective identification in understanding couples' dynamics. Projective identification as a defence is well suited to couples, as intimate partners provide an ideal location to deposit unwanted parts of the self. This paper illustrates how projective identification functions differently depending on the psychological health of the couple. It elucidates how healthier couples use projective identification more as a form of communication, whereas disturbed couples are inclined to employ it to invade and control the other, as captured by Meltzer's concept of "intrusive identification". These different uses of projective identification affect couples' capacities to provide what Bion called "containment". In disturbed couples, partners serve as what Meltzer termed "claustrums" whereby projections are not contained, but imprisoned or entombed in the other. Applying the concept of claustrum helps illuminate common feelings these couples express, such as feeling suffocated, stifled, trapped, held hostage, or feeling as if the relationship is killing them. Finally, this paper presents treatment challenges in working with more disturbed couples.

After establishing a context of More's lifelong engagement with the “calculus” of pleasure, this essay shows how the section devoted to the Utopians' pleasure philosophy is structured around five formulations of a “rule” to calculate “true and honest [honesta]” pleasure in ways that playfully imitate and echo the “rule” Cicero formulates several times in De officiis to discern one's duty when there seems to be a conflict between honestas et utilitas. When followed, the Utopian pleasure calculus shows the necessary role of societas, officii, iustitia, caritas, and the other aspects of human nature, most importantly friendship, that Cicero stresses in his rule and that he argued Epicurus ignored. Much of the irony and humor of this section depends on seeing the predominance of Ciceronian vocabulary in Raphael's unusual defense [patrocinium] of pleasure, rather than a Ciceronian defense of duty rooted in honestas. Throughout, however, this essay also shows how More goes beyond Cicero by including Augustinian and biblical allusions to suggest ways that our final end is not as Epicurus or the Stoics or Cicero claim; the language and allusions of this section point to a level of good cheer and care for neighbors and for God in ways quite different from any classical thinker.
