An experimental research method and an analysis of the results of a water droplet phase change in the additionally humidified air flow are presented. The diagrams of variation of the equivalent diameter of convectively heated water droplets are presented and analysed. The influence of initial water temperature and additionally humidifying air flow on the phase change of a droplet in transient regime is experimentally substantiated.

The droplet heat and mass transfer processes are important for liquid spraying technologies, which were investigated when applying the theoretical and numerical modelling and experimental methods. In this work, results of experimental research on the heating of water droplets in purified biofuel flue gas were presented and analyzed. In experimental investigation, the purified biofuel flue gas is replaced by additionally humidified airflow. The experiment methods and results processing are discussed and provided. Impact of air heating and additional humidification was estimated. While heating and additionally humidifying the air flow was focused on boundary conditions in condense economizers, when the flue gas temperature is 20-100°C and water vapor volume fraction is 0-0.2.

The application of flat plates to the field of wind harvesting requires a lot of research toward the understanding of the flutter behavior of the plates. There are shortages of articles that discuss the effect of varying the angles of attack to the flutter speed of a flat plate. This research aims to conduct a basic experimental research on the effect of relative position of a thin-flat plates to the direction of the air flow to its flutter speed. In this study, a thin-flat plate was placed in a subsonic wind tunnel to test its flutter speed. The position of the plate was varied in various angles of attack. The effect of the angles of attack to the flutter speed was observed.

This study was conducted to know the effect of applying Peer Review Strategy on the students’ achievement in writing descriptive paragraph. It was conducted by using experimental research method. This research design was conducted pre-test, post test in experimental and control group. The population of this research was the eight (VIII) grade students of SMP IT IQRA’ Medan. The sample of this research was taken by lottery technique. They were in class VIII-1 by experimental group and the class VIII-2 by control group. The experimental group was taught by using Peer Review Strategy while the control group was given no treatment. The instrument used to collect the data was writing essay test. The data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The result showed that the value of t-observed was higher than the value of t-table. (3,55 > 2,05 (a = 0.05)) with the degree of freedom (df) = 28. It means that there was a significant effect of applying Peer Review Strategy on the students’ achievement in writing descriptive paragraph. So, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted.

The research aims to examine how positive review disconfirmation (i.e., a positive deviance between a hotel consumer’s poststay evaluation and the average review rating by prior consumers) affects subsequent consumers’ willingness to post online reviews and their own review ratings. By employing an experimental research method, this study reveals that positive review disconfirmation increases hotel guests’ willingness to post online reviews, and increases their online review ratings through the mechanism of concern for others, demonstrating an act of altruism. In addition, comparatively the positive review disconfirmation effects are stronger when the variance of prior review ratings is smaller. This study enhances the online review social influence literature, and the consumer’s altruistic motivation of posting online reviews.
