Abstract-This research is motivated by the problems that researchers find in the learning process of social studies related to the low student learning outcomes. The issues raised in this study about improving student learning outcomes through the use of mind mapping method in social studies learning. Learning outcomes are characterized by changes in behavior. While Mind Mapping is a way of recording a creative and effective, easy way to enter and release information in the brain that suits the workings of the brain. So mind mapping can be an alternative method to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to describe how planning, implementation, results, and efforts to overcome obstacles in an effort to improve student learning outcomes through mind mapping method in social studies learning in class VII-F 7 Bandung Junior High School. The research method used is classroom action research with Kemmis & Taggart design. The source of this research data is the improvement of learning outcomes through the use of mind mapping method in social studies learning. Indicator of learning outcomes in this study is to remember, understand, apply, create, and Attitudes. In the indicators of understand and remember there is an increase in each cycle. In addition to the improvement of the post test results in each cycle. The general conclusion is the use of mind mapping method can improve students' learning outcomes in social studies learning at class VII-FKeywords: Learning Outcomes in Social Studies, Mind Mapping.

A teacher has a big responsibility in the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the teacher must motivate the students because motivation is one factor that can affect the success or failure of all student activities in learning. This study aims to determine the strategies of Islamic Education teachers in increasing learning motivation, efforts of Islamic Education teachers in increasing student motivation, and to find out the obstacles and solutions as an effort of Islamic Education teachers in increasing student motivation of Junior High School in the sub-district of Wih Pesam, Bener Meriah Regency. This study is through a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study concluded that the Islamic Education teacher strategy in increasing student learning motivation Junior High School in the sub-district of Wih Pesam, Bener Meriah Regency can be done with several steps, including; explain learning objectives to students, give gifts (rewards), bring up rivals or competencies, give praise, provide penalties and sanctions, generate encouragement to learn, form good learning habits, help students learning difficulties both individually and in groups, using various methods and must be by the learning objectives. Islamic education teachers' efforts in increasing learning motivation can be made through two motivational approaches, both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation can be done utilizing; giving gifts (reward), giving positive competence, giving advice and guidance, giving punishment or sanctions. While the extrinsic motivation approach can be made using the suitable method, the teacher must be creative, carry out self-reflection for students, give responsibility to students, make changes to the learning atmosphere, learning objectives must be clear, and identify student learning outcomes. While the obstacles faced by Islamic Education teachers are: still lack of reading books, lack of motivation from parents, improper learning methods used, and lack of interest in students in Islamic Education. While the solution is; foster students' interest in Islamic Education lessons, provide advice and guidance, give parents advice, and add activities to Islamic Education.

This study aims to describe the effect of group guidance services on the development of prosocial behavior of eighth grade students of Junior High School Negeri 17 Medan. The method used is a pseudo-experimental one group pretest-posttest village design. The subjects of this study were 12 students who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection in this study uses a scale of prosocial behavior. The results of this study indicate the behavior of 12 students increased after being given group guidance services ASYMP. GIG is 0.002, (<0.05) This means that there is a significant influence of group guidance services on the development of prosocial behavior of students of class VIII of Junior High School Negeri 17 Medan.

This research aims to know (1) the influence of learning motivation towards learning outcomes students (2) influence of a learning tool toward student learning outcome (3) influence of confidence against a student learning outcome (4) influence of learning motivation, learning tools, and confident against the learning outcomes of students. This research uses a quantitative approach. Analysis of the multiple linear regression analysis was used. Population studies as many as 150 students taken in random sampling as much as 110 students in Junior High School State 39, 41, and 43 Surabaya school year 2014-2015. The results showed (1) there is the influence of learning motivation towards learning outcomes students (2) there is the influence of the means of learning towards student learning outcome (3) there are confident against influence student learning outcomes (4) there is the influence of learning motivation, learning tools, and confident against the results of student learning receiver BSM (poor students coupon) junior high school state Surabaya. Based on research it can be concluded that the motivation of learning, learning tools, and simultaneous confidence effect significantly to student learning outcomes, namely 94.4 whereas 5.6 is affected by other variables outside of the variables examined. To cover the shortfall, it can be done by way of teaching with the methods vary according to the material being taught by associate Social Science material in everyday life, learning tools are fitted and foster the confidence of students, so that the results of his studies.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of Group Guidance with Video (G2-V) services in reducing aggressive behavior of junior high school students. The approach of this research is Pre-Experiment with the design of one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were 10 students (consisting of 5 male and 5 female) junior high schools in North Sumatra, which were obtained through purposive sampling. The instrument used was an aggressive behavior instrument with a scale Likert model. Data were analyzed using nonparametric statistical techniques using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and stacking Rasch models. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence of G2-V in reducing the aggressive behavior of junior high school students in North Sumatra. The implications of guidance and counseling services are discussed further.

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of self-regulated learning interventions to increase learning motivation and learning abilities in junior high school students who come from families with low socioeconomic levels. The intervention was given for five sessions through psychoeducation and assignments. The subject of this study is a male, 15 years old. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data analysis using triangulation techniques. The results of the analysis of observations, interviews, and assignment documents show that there are differences before and after the subject was given intervention. In general, self-regulated learning intervention has a positive impact on learning motivation and learning abilities of the subject. Several factors that support and inhibit intervention were explained. Some suggestions are given to develop the further intervention.

This study aims to improve teacher competence in planning authentic assessments with group guidance. The research method used is classroom action research. The research subjects were 10 teachers at Mandau 011 Junior High School. The timing of the research is carried out in two cycles starting on Monday 11 February to Saturday 23 February 2019. Analysis of the data used is qualitative in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. While for quantitative data descriptive analysis is carried out by calculating the average value and percentage. The results of the study indicate an increase in the competency of 011 Mandau Junior High School teachers in planning authentic assessments with group guidance. there is a cycle I of the average teacher competence of 70,6 with sufficient categories. The average teacher competency in the second cycle is 76,3 which is included in the good category. Classically, as many as 90% of teachers have been able to plan authentic assessments properly.
