Profitability expresses the ability to make a profit from all the business activities of the company. It shows how efficiently management generates profit by utilizing all available resources. This paper examined the effects of specific company factors, namely independent variables such as: liquidity, company size, company age, tangible asset, leverage, company capital and growth of com-pany, on profitability represented by return on assets (ROA) and net profit margin (NPM) as a dependent variable. The sample in this study includes eleven insurance companies for the period 2015 - 2020. The regression results indicate that size, leverage and age of company, have significant effects on the ROA. Meanwhile in NPM of insurance companies in Kosovo size of company and firm growth have significant effects.

This research aims to find out the influence of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Earning Per Share (EPS) on the stock return of food and beverage companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015 to 2018. The research sample consists of 13 companies, that were selected by using a purposive technique sampling method for the period of 2015-2018. The method to analyse the research questions was by using the statistical method of multiple linear regression method. The result found that Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) have significant influences on the stock return. Whilst aNet Profit Margin (NPM), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Earning Per Share (EPS) partially don’t have significant influence. The coefficient determination of this model was found to be about only 28,17%. This suggests that the five independent variables underestimated have a lack of explanatory power of the stock return of food and beverage companies. Hence, further studies to seek other independent variables in the model are suggested to improve the model underestimated.

This study aims to analyze the interdependence between the variables of marketing strategy and organizational performance of insurance companies using canonical correlation analysis with multiple multivariate analysis approach. The interdependent correlation value may explain the subgroup which the dominant variable affects other subgroups on the company based on the value of redundancy index. The study population was 9 go public insurance companies when the study was conducted in 2013. Given two exogenous variables, i.e. variables Effectiveness Strategy (STRAEFEK) and Efficiency Strategy (STRATEFIS). Endogenous variable is the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Eqiity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Operating Profit Margin (OPM) and Net Profit Margin (NPM).

Purpose of Study: This study was conducted with the aim to examine the effect of CR, DAR, DER, ROE, GPM, OPM, and NPM simultaneously to financial performance (ROA) and the effect of CR, DAR, DER, ROE, GPM, OPM, and NPM partially toward financial performance (ROA). Methodology: The sample of companies used in this study as many as 16 companies from 45 companies listed in the LQ45 Index period 2012-2016 with Purposive Sampling Technique. The independent variables used are Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), Return on Equity (ROE), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) while the dependent variable is Return on Assets (ROA) as an indicator of Financial Performance. The analysis used in this research is the Multiple Regression Analysis. Results: The results show that CR, DAR, DER, ROE, GPM, OPM, and NPM have an effect toward ROA; CR, DAR, DER have no significant partial effect on ROA; and ROE, GPM, OPM, NPM have a partially significant effect on ROA. Implications/Applications: Regression test results ROE, GPM, OPM, and NPM partially indicate that the independent variables studied have a significant influence on ROA.

The data used are secondary data in the form of company financial statements obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). In determining the sample of this study using a purposive sampling method that is determining the sample by making certain criteria. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis. Testing the hypothesis in this study using the t test to determine the effect of individual independent variables on the dependent variable. While the F test is used to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Assets (ROA) simultaneously on stock prices. The regresion results of this research shows that independent variables like CR and ROA has a positive effect in predicting stock prices. While, the NPM variable has a negative effect in predicting the stock prices. Current Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Return On Assets (ROA) simultaneously have a significant effect on Stock Prices. Partially, Current Ratio (CR), and Return On Assets (ROA) have a significant effect on Stock Prices. While Net Profit Margin (NPM) Does not have significant effect on Stock Prices. From the regression coefficient test concluded that 58,8% of the share price can be explained by the independent variables Keywords: Profitability, Liquidity,  Stock Prices.

This research aimed to determine the effect of partially and jointly independent variable of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Equity (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) against the dependent variable on the stock return. Objects of this research were companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) LQ45 continuously for four years in the period 2012-2015. Companies that qualify for this research were 28 companies. Based on this research, the conclusions indicate that all four independent variables; Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Equity (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM), either jointly or partially give the significant effect on return stock.
