Based on MONEX-,1979 data over the Arabian Sea, the paper analyses observationally the structure, development and movement of a vortex which formed during onset of the monsoon around mid-June near the coast of Kerala developed into a cyclonic storm at mid-sea and moved towards the coast of Oman to die out there Heat budget computations bring out the differential behaviour of the different quadrants of the disturbance and appear to highlight the contrasting features between the northwestern and the other quadrants in regard to vertical. distributions of diabatic heating, local temperature tendency thermal advection and adiabatic heating or cooling. The study reveals an interaction of the vortex with two eastward-propagating subtropical westerly troughs which might have contributed significantly to its explosive development (decay) through warm (cold) advection. Both barotropic and baroclinic energy conversions appear to supply energy to the storm; though there appears to be a dominance of one over the other at different stages of development and at different heights. It seems likely that condensation heating also contributed to development of the storm.

Abstract In this work, we have developed FLRW cosmological models in f(R, T) gravity. The solution of the modified field equations are obtained under the newly proposed Bakry and Shafeek, “The periodic universe with varying deceleration parameter of the second degree,” Astrophys. Space Sci., vol. 364, p. 135, 2019, quadratic form of the deceleration parameter. Further, we have discussed the state-finder parameter, om-diagnostic analysis and energy conditions of the proposed model. The variation of deceleration parameter with respect to cosmic time and red-shift is consistent with observational data.

Diagnosis is a profoundly social phenomenon which, while putatively identifying disease entities, also provides insights into how societies understand and explain health, illness and deviance. In this paper, we explore how diagnosis becomes part of popular culture through its use in many non-clinical settings. From historical diagnosis of long-deceased public personalities to media diagnoses of prominent politicians and even diagnostic analysis of fictitious characters, the diagnosis does meaningful social work, explaining diversity and legitimising deviance in the popular imagination. We discuss a range of diagnostic approaches from paleopathography to fictopathography, which all take place outside of the clinic. Through pathography, diagnosis creeps into widespread and everyday domains it has not occupied previously, performing medicalisation through popularisation. We describe how these pathographies capture, not the disorders of historical or fictitious figures, rather, the anxieties of a contemporary society, eager to explain deviance in ways that helps to make sense of the world, past, present and imaginary.

<b><i>Background:</i></b> <i>BCR/ABL1</i>-like acute lymphoblastic leukemia is a newly recognized high-risk subtype of ALL, characterized by the presence of genetic alterations activating kinase and cytokine receptor signaling. This subtype is associated with inferior outcomes, compared to other B-cell precursor ALL. <b><i>Summary:</i></b> The recognition of <i>BCR/ABL1</i>-like ALL is challenging due to the complexity of underlying genetic alterations. Rearrangements of <i>CRLF2</i> are the most frequent alteration in <i>BCR/ABL1</i>-like ALL and can be identified by flow cytometry. The identification of <i>BCR/ABL1</i>-like ALL can be achieved with stepwise algorithms or broad-based testing. The main goal of the diagnostic analysis is to detect the underlying genetic alterations, which are critical for the diagnosis and targeted therapy. <b><i>Key Messages:</i></b> The aim of the manuscript is to review the available data on <i>BCR/ABL1</i>-like ALL characteristics, diagnostic algorithms, and novel, molecularly targeted therapeutic options.

The Wushan Operation has been studied as a case study, particularly relevant to the copper-molybdenum separation circuit, in which efforts have been made to improve the quality of the molybdenum concentrate through diagnostic analysis. A key finding has been the appearance of coarser silicate minerals in the molybdenum concentrate due to their inadvertent activation in flotation. The suitable silicate minerals flotation conditions occurs, most likely, due to upstream bulk flotation regarding the usage of novel collectors and metal cations bearing process water. The flotation of silicate minerals can be diminished by the implementation of water glass and regrinding. The mechanisms underlying flotation behaviors have been revealed by using advanced in-situ surface analysis and particle size analysis techniques.
