Abstract According to the standard EN 45545, fire resistant tests of floor structures in high-speed train were carried out. Two typical floor structures which were placed in the passenger train were tested. Integrity and insulation are main performance criteria to evaluate fire resistance of floor structures. The furnace temperature is in accordance with the requirements in the standard ISO 834. The surface temperature and deflection were recorded with time. Glass wool and aluminium corrugated sandwich structure in two structures were burned through. The experiments were terminated at 30 minutes and 31 minutes respectively for the two structures. A large amount of smoke and the sound of cracking of the exposed surface of the test piece were produced, although the unexposed surface of test pieces did not reach the failure condition.

Stunting in general is a failure condition growth against children, caused by malnutrition in a long time. Milk has a good nutritional content and required by the body for the process of growth. In Indonesia, there are still many toddlers and children who do not consume milk that can cause stunting. It is influenced by the high milk prices in the market. To overcome the problem, soy milk can be a solution, because it contains a substance which is equivalent to cow's milk. The village Kutagandok is one of the villages stunting, which is located in Karawang District. Countermeasures carried out of the village to reduce stunting is the provision of soy milk to toddlers and kids. The process of the production of soy milk is made by the people of the village Kutagandok. But the thing is, there are still some obstacles in the production of, namely the limited human resources (HR) for the separation process soy beans with the skin's epidermis. So then it takes a HR more to make the production time to be shorter. In addition, the length of time filtering soy milk which resulted in easy casserole. The purpose of this service is to help the village of reducing stunting, by way of automation peeler soybeans from the epidermis and the filter tool to separate the soy milk with the dregs. Initially the process of the production of soy milk is used in a conventional manner. Furthermore, through this service uses the peeler semi-conventional. With the filter tool, then the time the production process is faster and quality is better.

One of the most frequent faults in PMSM stator is the turn-to-turn short-circuit fault. So, the aim of this paper is to present a dynamic model for PMSM with turn-to-turn short-circuit fault based on equivalent electric circuit model. Two simple and useful diagnostic techniques ESA an EPVA based on frequency analysis are applied to detect this kind of fault. The accuracy of diagnosis is based on adding the real waveform of back-EMF.

This paper describes the rehabilitation procedure of the roof timber structure of a multiuse pavilion in Viseu, Portugal. The roof structure consists of a series of parallel double timber trusses, partially concealed above a polyhedral wooden plank-made ceiling. Recently, the support of one of the trusses failed and another one has been assessed as in a pre-failure condition. Some load-redistribution and the prompt shore of the structure prevented the generalized collapse. The subsequent inspection and assessment led to the conclusion that the primary cause of the collapse was the failure perpendicular to the grain of the solid timber elements inserted between the double rafters and tie-beams. The replacement of the existing with a steel structure, and the repair and reinforcement of the existing wooden trusses, were considered as intervention possibilities. The latter revealed much cheaper, less time-consuming and in line with the international recommendations on rehabilitation works, and was therefore adopted. An innovative solution, consisting of the replacement of the central timber elements in all the supports, resulted in minimum visual impact and improved the load bearing capability beyond its original value. Doi: 10.28991/cej-2020-03091628 Full Text: PDF
