The sole distinguishing feature of follicular lymphoma grade 3B and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is the growth pattern assessed by histopathology analysis. Diffuse growth defines diffuse large B-cell lymphoma but the clinical relevance of this finding when occurring in follicular lymphoma grade 3B is uncertain. To address this question, individual and coexisting follicular lymphoma grade 3B and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma were separated and analyzed for immunophenotype and molecular genetic features by fluorescence in situ hybridization, targeted sequencing and gene expression profiling. Clinical features of follicular lymphoma grade 3B with and without coexisting diffuse large B-cell lymphoma were studied in homogeneously treated patients from a prospective randomized trial. Follicular lymphoma grade 3B and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma frequently show intermediate growth pattern and/or occurred simultaneously in the same tissue at the time of initial diagnosis. When occurring simultaneously follicular lymphoma grade 3B and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma do not differ significantly in genetic aberrations or phenotype but distinct features in gene expression reflect divergent microenvironment. Follicular lymphoma grade 3B with and without coexisting diffuse large B-cell lymphoma do not differ in major clinical parameters such as international prognostic index, response to immunochemotherapy, progression or overall survival. Follicular lymphoma grade 3B and simultaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma are molecularly homogenous. Histological detection of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is not associated with features of a more aggressive disease and does not reflect transformation or progression of follicular lymphoma Grade 3B.

Length-weight relationship (LWR), growth pattern and condition factor (CF) play a vital role in fish resource evaluation and management but data on this is limited for Periophthalmus variabilis. This is an amphibious fish that lives in the mudflats of the mangrove forests in the Western Pacific regions, including the Vietnamese Mekong Delta (VMD). This paper contributes to the understanding of the LWR, growth pattern and CF of P. variabilis. Fish specimens were collected by hand at four sites in the VMD from April 2020 to March 2021. The analysis of 495 individual fish (259 females and 236 males) showed that fish weight could be estimated from a given fish length due to high determination values (r2 = 0.70 − 0.97). Dusky-gilled mudskippers of the VMD exhibited positive allometry, as indicated by their larger than 3 b value (b = 3.094 ± 0.045, p = 0.04). However, the growth pattern of the mudskipper between the sex and maturation stage (immature versus mature) showed isometry. These fish displayed positive allometry in the dry season (b = 3.138 ± 0.065) (>3, p = 0.04) but isometry in the wet season (b = 3.058 ± 0.061) (≈3, p = 0.34). Fish growth ranged from isometry to positive allometry and varied by site (b = 2.850 ± 0.103–3.370 ± 0.114) and month (b = 2.668 ± 0.184–3.588 ± 0.299) based on the b value. The CF of P. variabilis was not affected by sex (p = 0.29), body size (p = 0.64) or season (p = 0.43), but was affected by site (p = 0.01) and month (p = 0.01). The CF of this species (1.05 ± 0.02) was higher than 1 (p < 0.001), indicating that the fish adapted well to their habitat.

Objective. To investigate the value of enhanced multislice spiral CT (ceMDCT) in the diagnosis of extramural vascular invasion of gastric cancer and the influencing factors of extramural vascular invasion. There are different methods used in this paper. Method. 131 patients with primary gastric cancer treated in our hospital from January 2017 to May 2019 were selected. All patients underwent surgical resection and ceMDCT examination before operation. Result. There were 40 cases with extramural vascular invasion of gastric cancer by surgical pathological diagnosis. The kappa value of ceMDCT in diagnosing extramural vascular invasion of gastric cancer was 0.947, and the consistency was excellent. The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value were 100.00%, 96.70%, 93.02%, and 100.00%, respectively. The proportions of T3-T4, tumour diameter ≥5.0 cm, and growth pattern of proximal nodular + diffuse type in patients with gastric cancer extramural vascular invasion were 92.50%, 85.00%, and 65.00%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in patients without extramural vascular invasion ( P < 0.05 ). The logistic regression analysis results showed that T3-T4, tumour diameter ≥5.0 cm, proximal nodular + diffuse growth pattern were the risk factors for extrahepatic vascular invasion in gastric cancer (OR = 3.751, 2.901, and 3.367, P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. ceMDCT has good application value in diagnosing gastric cancer extramural vascular invasion. The occurrence of gastric cancer extramural vascular invasion is affected by T staging, tumour diameter, and tumour growth pattern.

Objectives: The objectives of the study were to assess, measure, and correlate the maxillary and mandibular effective base length, arch length to the amount of dental crowding in different vertical growth pattern patients. Materials and Methods: Sample comprising 100 pre-treatment lateral cephalograms and study models (age group – 16–25 years) was randomly selected. The sample was divided into two groups, that is, clockwise (50) and anticlockwise (50) rotation based on the measurement of the gonial angle. The gonial angle and maxillary and mandibular effective lengths were measured on pre-treatment lateral cephalograms. Dental crowding and arch length were measured on the pre-treatment dental casts. Intergroup comparisons of effective base length, arch length, and crowding were performed with unpaired t-tests. Correlations between effective base length, arch length, and dental crowding were examined by means of Pearson’s correlation coefficient (P < 0.05). Results: Subjects with clockwise rotation significantly had more mandibular dental crowding and significantly decreased mandibular arch length compared to the anticlockwise group. An inverse correlation was found between maxillary and mandibular effective base length, arch length, and dental crowding while a positive correlation was found between maxillary and mandibular base length and arch length in both the groups. Conclusion: Clockwise rotation of the mandible along with skeletal and dental factors such as decreased effective base lengths and arch length, respectively, constitutes an important factor leading to dental crowding.

Background: Cranial fasciitis (CF) is a benign (myo)fibroblastic proliferation of children. Typical presentation consists of a rapidly growing solitary mass on the temporal or parietal cranium in the first 2 years of age. CF is characterized by a rapid growth followed by a relative slowdown and even growth arrest. The finding of somatic USP6 gene rearrangements demonstrating clonality in CF together with its clinical behavior places it in the category of diseases recently termed “transient neoplasia.” Methods: Histological, immunohistochemical, and molecular findings of 18 patients with CF were retrospectively studied. Results: The tumor typically presented as a painless rapidly enlarging mass in the temporal region. Sixty-six percent of the cases harbored USP6 gene rearrangement. Nine patients were treated with gross total resection (GTR) and 9 with subtotal tumor resection (STR). Two patients treated with GTR had recurrence. Five patients treated with STR had progression-free disease for at least 10 months after surgery and in four patients the tumor regressed spontaneously a median 16 months after surgery. Conclusions: In this largest series to date, we reported the clinicopathological, immunohistochemical, and molecular findings of 18 pediatric cases of CF with emphasis on the clinical growth pattern of these tumors.

The tremendous increase in the amount of e-waste and its impact on the environment and human health is a concern for the whole world. The low rate of recycling of e-waste as compared to the rate at which e-waste is increasing is a matter of concern and needs immediate action. Negative environmental consequences of e-waste have prompted the interest of both academia and industry alike. The objective of the study is to study the yearly growth pattern for the last 20 years, recognize relevant scholars, and explore collaborations among various institutes, authors, and countries over time. The study also intends to identify any shift in the field of e-waste recycling. So to better understand the development of this field in the past 20 years, its required to study the yearly growth pattern of publication and to identify the relevant collaborations among authors, institutes, and countries that contributed to this field. In line with this, this study is conducted to examine the research landscape of e-waste recycling by using comprehensive bibliometric analysis.
