ABSTRACTVillage-owned enterprises (BUMDes) is an economic institution of village which aims to move the economies of rural community Local community, especially youth of village had the potential to develop businesses from BUMDes because they had creative ideas. The objectives of this research are analyze level of youth participation in BUMDes “Tirta Mandiri”, analyze the factors that determine of youth participation, and analyze relationship of youth participation to  development businesses of BUMDes “Tirta Mandiri”.  This research used quantitative method and supported by qualitative data. Based on data  collection, it was found that, first the highest youth participation is at the stage of implementation, second communication is a factor that has relationship with youth participation. Therefore, good communication between parties in BUMDes “Tirta Mandiri” can facilitate the youth to working together. Third, the high participation of youth give progress to development businesses of BUMDes “Tirta Mandiri” from the institutional side, member capability and market product expansion.Keywords: BEMDes, youth participation  and business development of BUMDes---------------------------ABSTRAKBadan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) adalah sebuah lembaga ekonomi desa yang bertujuan untuk menggerakkan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Masyarakat setempat, khususnya pemuda berpontensi untuk mengembangkan usaha dari BUMDes, disebabkan mereka memiliki ide-ide kreatif. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis tingkat partisipasi pemuda dalam BUMDes “Tirta Mandiri”, menganalisis faktor yang menentukan partisipasi pemuda, dan menganalisis hubungan partisipasi pemuda terhadap perkembangan BUMDes “Tirta Mandiri”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang didukung data kualitatif. Berdasarkan data yang dikumpulkan, ditemukan bahwa pertama, partisipasi pemuda dalam BUMDes paling tinggi pada tahap pelaksanaan. Kedua, tingkat komunikasi adalah faktor yang memiliki hubungan terhadap tingkat partisipasi pemuda, sebab komunikasi yang baik antara pihak didalam BUMDes memudahkan pemuda untuk bekerja sama. Ketiga, tingginya partisipasi pemuda memberikan kemajuan terhadap perkembangan BUMDes “Tirta Mandiri” dari segi kelembagaan, kemampuan anggota dan perluasan pasar produk.Kata kunci: BUMDes, partisipasi pemuda dan perkembangan usaha BUMDes

This paper aims to predict the hardness of hot formed part for tailor rolled blank (TRB) by the FE-simulation coupled with quenching factor analysis (QFA). Dilatometry test of boron steel is performed at various range of cooling rates from 0.2 to 100°C/s using the dilatometer with forced air cooling system. The dilatometry test provides a hardness data according to cooling curves which are used to determine the material constants (K1~K5) of QFA and the time‒temperature‒property (TTP) diagram of boron steel. Then, FE‒simulation of hot press forming is conducted to predict the cooling curves of hot formed TRB part with a thickness combination of thicker 1.6mm and thinner 1.2mm which is called as rear side member of automotive component. The cooling curves of FE-simulation are applied to predict the hardness of hot formed rear side member using the QFA. Also, experiment of hot press forming is performed to verify the predicted results and to examine the effect of cooling curves on the hardness.

This paper presents the results for Head Injury Criteria (HIC) and Chest Severity Index (CSI) of an adult occupant in frontal impact. The component being studied is side member as impact energy absorber. Steel side member is used as the benchmark material, whereas aluminum alloy is used as lightweight material. Crash analyses are conducted using nonlinear finite element analysis software Ls-dyna. The effect of different types of aluminum alloy and component thickness on the HIC, CSI, weight and energy absorbed is assessed and discussed. A cost function is then formulated with the geometrical average method to solve the multi-objective problem. The HIC36 and CSI are set as minimum requirements in the optimization. The materials used was Aluminium alloy of AA 5182 AA5751. It was found that AA5751 with inner and outer thickness of 2.8 mm and 4.9 mm respectively, provides a reduction in mass of 1.03 kg compared with steel and has energy absorbed of 11.9 kJ. The lowest values of HIC36 and CSI obtained are 1146 and 665.4 respectively.

A rear cradle as one of the suspension system takes a role to connect a tie rod, suspension arm, transmissions and rubber bush. It consists of the side member and cross member which are joined by welding process. However, the rear cradle may be distorted due to thermal deformation during welding process, which cause dimensional tolerance problem when assembling. So, it is necessary to predict the thermal deformation and the optimal welding conditions should be suggested to reduce the dimensional tolerances. In this paper, MAG(metal active gas) welding process was applied in the simulation model using the SYSWELDR, commercial S/W for welding simulation. And then, It should be predicted on the results about the gap and thermal deformation of main cylinder and derived the phase transformation, temperature distribution, residual stress and thermal deformation of total model shape.
