Abstract: The initial dimensions and weight for the vehicle is considered from the Audi A8 vehicle as a reference. The specifications for the motor and battery are considered for the Mahindra e2o electric vehicle of similar dimensions. The main objective of this paper is to model and perform static analysis on the chassis of a four-seater car. The initial design for the chassis was a space frame body which is very rigid and had very less deflection. The second and final chassis is a ladder type chassis which is most common chassis type being used in Nepal and India. The difference in deflection between both the chassis type is very less, which is about 0.3235 mm for a reasonable reduction in weight which is about 120 Kg. The simulation part is carried out in ANSYS software. The result is selection of best suitable material for chassis on the basis of ANSYS and theoretically calculated result. Keywords: Chassis, Structural Analysis, Optimization, Four seater car

The ultrasonic velocities of solutions of Bu4NBPh4, Bu4NClO4, [Cu(AN)4]NO3, [Cu(BN)4]NO3, [Cu(Phen)2]NO3, [Cu(DMPhen)2]NO3, [Cu(Bipy)2]NO3 and [Cu(TU)4]NO3 (where AN = acetonitrile, BN = benzonitrile, Phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, DMPhen = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, Bipy = 2,2′-bipyridyl and TU = thiourea) were measured in the concentration range 0.03-0.27 M in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), nitromethane (NM) and binary mixtures of DMSO + NM containing 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 mol% NM at 298 K in the present studies. Using ultrasonic velocity and density data, isentropic compressibility (κs) and apparent molal isentropic compressibility (κs,φ) for electrolytes in DMSO + NM mixture have been calculated. Result shows that copper(I) electrolytes show less solvation in NM rich regions indicating structure breaking tendency of nitromethane. Extent of solvation in Cu(I) ions decreases in the order: [Cu(AN)4]+ > [Cu(BN)4]+ > [Cu(TU)4]+ > [Cu(DMPhen)2]+ > [Cu(Phen)2]+ > [Cu(Bipy)2]+.

Abstract BACKGROUND T2-FLAIR mismatch sign was reported as a specific imaging marker for diffuse astrocytoma with IDH-mutant and 1p/19q non-codeletion. However, most of the previous studies for T2-FLAIR mismatch were confirmed only among lower grade glioma (LGG). The purpose of this study is to explore the T2-FLAIR mismatch sing in supratentorial non-enhancing tumor including LGG and dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor (DNET) and to unveil the exception rules of the sign. METHODS Forty-four patients of non-enhancing LGG and DNET were included in this study. LGG(diffuse astrocytoma with IDH mutant (IDHmut-Noncodel), oligodendroglioma with IDH-mutant and 1p19q codeletion (IDHmut-Codel), diffuse astrocytoma with IDH wildtype (IDHwt))and DNET were diagnosed based on WHO 2016 classification. The tumors were evaluated MRI by 2 independent reviewers to assess presence or absence of T2-FLAIR mismatch sign. CT was also performed to evaluate the localized thinning of the skull bone. Inter-reviewer agreement with Cohen’s kappa (κ) was calculated. RESULT: Ten out of 18 cases (55.6%) of IDHmut-Noncodel presented T2-FLAIR mismatch sign. None of the other LGG (IDHmut-Codel and IDHwt) presented T2-FLAIR mismatch. Eight out of 11 cases (72.7%) of DNET also present the T2-FLAIR mismatch. The overlying part of the skull bone thinning was observed in 5 cases of DNET, but none of LGG presented the localized skull bone thinning. The inter-rater agreement for the T2-FLAIR mismatch and the localized thinning of the skull bone were excellent (κ= 1.00). CONCLUSION The T2-FLAIR mismatch sign was specific marker for IDHmut-Noncodel among LGG. However, DNET also presented the T2-FLAIR mismatch sign. The localized skull bone thinning could be useful for differentiating between IDHmut-Noncodel and DNET

This paper states wireless power transfer (WPT) from an AC power supply to a micro implant device in human body. At first, an equivalent circuit of WPT which contains biomedical tissue is constructed with an AC power supply, parasitic components, load resistance, and inductances. Then a state equation which stands for the behavior of circuit is found, and the expression of efficiency is derived as the ratio of the power of power supply and load. Finally an experiment is conducted based on the theoretical calculation, and the error between experimental and calculated result is computed and examined.

In this modern era, despite several advantages of communication technologies, some people particularly school and college students’ misuse these technologies. They often engage in a phenomenon called cyber bullying. Objective: To find out the cyber bullying activities of adolescents. Seven different cyber bullying activities such as flaming, harassment, intimidation, denigration, masquerade; outing and exclusion are being measured across three dimensions such as bullying, victimizing and witnessing. Method: (a) Participants: 1014 higher secondary and college students was (aged 16-20 years) randomly selected from 8 schools and 8 colleges located in Ernakulum district, Kerala. (b) Material: Cyber Bullying Survey Questionnaire developed by the investigators (c) Statistical Analysis: Percentage of activity in each of the seven areas across three dimensions was calculated. Result: All cyber bullying activities exist among higher secondary and college students. The percentage of students who witnessed cyber bullying activities is comparatively higher than that of victimization and bullying. Conclusion: The misuse of technology was seen in adolescents of Kerala community.

Defects are usually unavoidable in lattices and have great impacts on the electronic structures, which can also be adjusted by pressure. Here, we report a systemic first-principles investigation on the pressure-dependent electronic and optical properties of wurtzite ZnO containing O vacancy or Zn interstitial. The pressure is loaded in the range of 0–12 GPa. The calculated result shows that the top valence bandwidth of ZnO materials varies with the pressure loaded. In particular, the top valence bandwidth of ZnO with O vacancy under about 5 GPa gets an extreme value. Meanwhile, it is also found that there are different energy shifts in the optical spectrums with the increase of pressure. The influence of increasing pressure on the optical properties of ZnO containing Zn interstitial is found to be notable, especially in the energy range of 3.0–4.7 eV. So the electronic and optical properties of ZnO with native defect may be tuned through changing the pressure. Our research results may provide important references to the choice and production of ZnO-based ultraviolet photoelectric materials.

Based on the Lorenz-Mie light scattering theory, we have calculated the light absorption of single silicon nanowire with Si3N4coating, and compared with pure single silicon nanowire. The calculated result indicates that there exists an enhanced absorption in the Si3N4-coated silicon nanowire and shows a great photocurrent enhancement factor (~70%) for the coaxial NW with the shell thickness of ~70 nm. For a special shell thickness (175 nm) in the Si3N4-coated silicon nanowire forr= 150 nm, the enhancement comes up to ~98.45%.

This study aimed to identify the distribution and assemblages of benthic macroinvertebrates at Lata Meraung Waterfall, Pahang, Malaysia. Benthic macroinvertebrates were collected between 11-12 February 2014 from three stations located at upstream, midstream and downstream of the river. Benthic macroinvertebrates were collected by using Surber net with 500 micron mesh size combined with a rectangular quadrate with the size of 30 cm x 30 cm. The ecological indices (richness, diversity, dominant, and evenness) and benthic biotic index (Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera and Trichoptera or EPT) were calculated. Result shows that, the study area was dominated by insects where a total of 1,287 individuals from 27 taxa of insects were collected. The most abundant taxon was Hydropsychidae (Trichoptera) which contributed about 20% of total individuals. On the other hand, all stations recorded the present of sensitive organisms namely Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera and Trichoptera (EPT) but Trichoptera (Hydropsichidae) was the most abundant with 264 individuals. However, Ephemeroptera was the most diverse with seven families as compared to Plecoptera and Trichoptera. The assemblages of benthic macroinvertebrates were abundance at the downstream as compared to upstream. This was due to the composition of substrates such as sand, pebble, and cobble which are lesser at the upstream river.
