Abstract. In the last 2 decades, Morocco has known rapid growth of urban transformation followed by significant Population growth, which causes serious environmental problems related to water pollution and scarcity, and social with the deficiencies of infrastructures. And this has been witnessed in the city of Biougra which requires taking serious steps and adopting new projects to solve these issues as soon as possible. And as a reflection of that, this paper takes advantage of Geographic information system (GIS) coupled tools in the first place to locate future sites for building new schools using weighted overlay analysis approach, to improve the education system. And in the second place to choose potential sites for implementing new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) by adopting multicriteria analysis (MCA). Finally, as a part of saving cultural heritage, and improving the social and economic situation for local citizens, we aim to value cooperative of this region as a replacement of poor touristic quality in the city, by making a track of the existing cooperative and profit from 3d modeling as a part of providing the traveler the best possible guide to reach these points of interest and also develop a desktop application for editing and manipulating different types of file related to cooperatives. This study showed successful results by localizing a new site to build a school in the northeastern of the city, and a match between the found site for WWTP and the existing station but with giving a possibility for expansion.

Background: SARS-CoV-2 is an enveloped virus with a fragile outer lipid envelope that makes it more susceptible to disinfectants compared to non-enveloped viruses. In this article, dispensation through cold Fogger was innovated as a measure against aerosol-based transmission of COVID-19 in large, enclosed spaces like hospitals, nursing homes, isolation centers and quarantine facilities. Methods: Ecological exploratory to study 1% sodium hypochlorite through cold fogging as an innovative appropriate technology. Study setting included medical college in Western Maharashtra and the selected COVID-19 hospitals Statistical analysis-The data was collated in MS excel and analysed using IBM SPSS version 23.0.Results: Average of 2.9 % HCWs got infected in hospitals where the innovation was used to disinfect, as compared to infections rates of 21.5% in other premier health institutes. There was strong negative correlation between percentage of health care infected and liters of sodium hypochlorite used with R2=0.56. Also, on applying Spearman correlation coefficient there was good negative correlation (-0.8).Conclusions: This appropriate technology has shown significant reduction in infection, with antecedent benefit of decreased morbidity and mortality of precious trained manpower. It gives much better dis-infection at 07 times less the cost and can be conveniently used for dis-infection against COVID-19 at the very periphery of primary health care delivery done at Sub-centres and PHCs.

The fundamental assumption of many successful geochemical and geomicrobial technologies developed in the last 80 years is that hydrocarbons leak from subsurface accumulations vertically to the surface. Driven by buoyancy, the process involves sufficiently large volumes directly measurable or indirectly inferable from their surface expressions. Even when the additional hydrocarbons are not measurable, their presence slightly changes the environment, where complex microbial communities live, and acts as an evolutionary constraint on their development. Since the ecology of this ecosystem is very complicated, we propose to use the full-microbiome analysis of the shallow sediments samples instead of targeting a selected number of known species, and the use of machine learning for uncovering the meaningful correlations in these data. We achieve this by sequencing the microbial biomass and generating its “DNA fingerprint”, and by analyzing the abundance and distribution of the microbes over the dataset. The proposed technology uses machine learning as an accurate tool for determining the detailed interactions among the various microorganisms and their environment in the presence or absence of hydrocarbons, thus overcoming data complexity. In a proof-of-technology study, we have taken more than 1000 samples in the Neuqu謠Basin in Argentina over three distinct areas, namely, an oil field, a gas field, and a dry location outside the basin, and created several successful predictive models. A subset of randomly selected samples was kept outside of the training set and blinded by the client operator, providing the means for objectively validating the prediction performance of this methodology. Uncovering the blinded dataset after estimating the prospectivity revealed that most of these samples were correctly predicted. This very encouraging result shows that analyzing the microbial ecosystem in the shallow sediment can be an additional de-risking method for assessing hydrocarbon prospects and improving the Probability Of Success(POS) of a drilling campaign.

Flapping wing micro-air-vehicles (FWMAVs) animate the small-space dexterous flight, hovering, and energy-saving characteristics of birds and insects, and are believed to have enlightenment for the development of bionic flight in the future. When designing FWMAVs, detailed unsteady aerodynamic information is required. Besides the computational fluid mechanics (CFD) technology study, the flow visualization is also needed to assist this research. This article innovatively used soap film visualization with high-speed photography to record two kinds of the 2D flow fields laterally and longitudinally, respectively, generated by a flapping wing of 10 cm span. Different from the qualitative comparison of soap film imaging with the conventional smoke tracing method, the subsequent processing of the soap film images was demonstrated. This work explains how to quantify the soap film imaging into lift and thrust forces, and the corresponding results are compared with the wind tunnel force measurement data preliminarily.
