Transformational leadership has been becoming increasingly vital to the provision of high-quality health care, particularly during major public health emergencies. The present study aims to investigate the impact of transformational leadership on physicians’ performance and explore the cross-level underlying mechanisms with achievement motivations and coping styles among Chinese physicians. During 2017–2019, 1,527 physicians of 101 departments were recruited from six hospitals in China with a cluster random sampling method. Participants completed several questionnaires regarding their job performance, achievement motivations, coping styles, and transformational leadership. Multilevel mediation effects were tested using cross-level path analysis. The result of this study indicated that transformational leadership was applied well in Chinese medical settings with a score of 101.56 ± 6.42. The hierarchical linear model showed that transformational leadership had a cross-level direct positive effect on physicians’ performance (β = 1.524, p < 0.05). Furthermore, results of cross-level path analyses revealed that transformational leadership contributed to physicians’ performance by sequentially influencing achievement motivations first and then coping styles. In addition, the path “transformational leadership → positive coping (PC) style → physicians’ performance” showed the strongest cross-level indirect effect. In summary, public health leaders should enhance physicians’ performance by promoting individual development, especially achievement motivation and PC style.

As a result, this study showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between sport character and “self-confidence”, “motive to achieve success”, “power motive”, and “external factor approach”. In addition, it was observed that “motive to achieve success” and “power motive” predicted the sport character by approximately 38%.

This article presents the study an achievement motivation and psychological stability their impact on development of the personal cognitive abilities in students of pedagogical high school. The analysis of the results shows that steady cognitive interest forms a stable motivation. The students with expressed achievement motivation preferred to work under the conditions of maximum stimulation of the achievement motive and strived to search for more effective methods of problem solutions. The importance of this research consists in that the relation, revealed between achievement motivations and cognitive interest of the students in general mechanism of mental regulation of training and education allows a teacher to identify the reference points of psychological training and education regulation, to have a psychologically reasoned impact on formation and perspectives

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan konseling dan motivasi berprestasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar Matematika. Penelitian menggunakan desain treatment by level 2X2. Analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dan Tukey. Kesimpulan penelitian: (1) Terdapat perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang diberi layanan konseling individu dan kelompok, (2) Terdapat interaksi antara layanan konseling dengan motivasi berprestasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika, (3) Hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan motivasi berprestasi belajar siswa tinggi yang diberi layanan konseling individu lebih tinggi dari pada layanan konseling kelompok, (4) Hasil belajar matematika siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi belajar siswa rendah yang diberi layanan konseling individu lebih rendah dari pada layanan konseling kelompok.
