The analysis of changes in the dynamic characteristics of the transport operation of a trunk road train in road conditions with overcoming sections of obstructed traffic characterized by the presence of steep ascents is considered. The solution of the problem under consideration is presented in the variants of determining the maximum angle of elevation of the road that can be overcome by a road train with the specified operational characteristics and the cost of engine power spent on overcoming these road sections.

Analyzing data related to the conditions of city streets and avenues could help to make better decisions about public spending on mobility. Generally, streets and avenues are fixed as soon as they have a citizen report or when a major incident occurs. However, it is uncommon for cities to have real-time reactive systems that detect the different problems they have to fix on the pavement. This work proposes a solution to detect anomalies in streets through state analysis using sensors within the vehicles that travel daily and connecting them to a fog-computing architecture on a V2I network. The system detects and classifies the main road problems or abnormal conditions in streets and avenues using Machine Learning Algorithms (MLA), comparing roughness against a flat reference. An instrumented vehicle obtained the reference through accelerometry sensors and then sent the data through a mid-range communication system. With these data, the system compared an Artificial Neural Network (supervised MLA) and a K-Nearest Neighbor (Supervised MLA) to select the best option to handle the acquired data. This system makes it desirable to visualize the streets’ quality and map the areas with the most significant anomalies.

To reduce the risk of queuing overflow on the urban minor road at the intersection under supersaturation where the capacity of the arterial and minor roads shows extreme disparity, reduce the adverse effects caused by long queues of vehicles on the minor road, and comprehensively balance the multiobjective requirements such as priority of the main road, queuing restrictions, and delay on the minor road, the minor road queue model at the end of red, a road remaining capacity model, and multiparameter coordinated signal control model were established, and a multiobjective genetic algorithm was used to optimize this solution. As an example, the multiparameter coordinated control strategy decreased the delay per vehicle by approximately 17% and the queue length by approximately 30%–50% on the minor road and slightly increased the delay per vehicle at the intersection and the length on the main road queue. This control strategy can make full use of the capacity of the main road to control the queue length on the minor road, effectively reduce the risk of minor road queue overflow blocking local road network traffic operation involved, and comprehensively balance the traffic demand between arterial and minor roads. It provides a reference control method for coping with the transfer of the main traffic contradiction under the oversaturated state of the road intersection with large disparity.

This chapter describes how and why Antonine London came to be characterized by an architecture of domestic luxury. This was evidenced by large private houses laid out around several wings with porticoes, dining rooms, and heated private baths, and decorated with mosaic pavements and painted walls sometimes referencing Bacchic iconography. These designs materialized an educated paideia that drew on Hellenistic ideas, perhaps under the influence of the philosophies of the Second Sophistic. These ideas may have first found architectural expression in London in the Hadrianic period, but were more characteristic of the Antonine city. London’s wealth sustained a local demand for imported goods, whilst the waterfronts where these were landed were also busy at times of military campaigns. Several Romano-Celtic temples were built c. AD 165, including one dedicated to Mars Camulus. Imposing mausolea were built within walled cemeteries along the main road into town. These temples and tombs formed a monumental landscape adapted to the religious and funerary processions through the city.

Taking the viaduct project of the main road bridge of Fushi road between Jinding Street station and Jinanqiao Station of line 11 of Beijing subway as the background, due to geological reasons, the length of the pile of the main road bridge of Fushi road is 60m to the west of Xin’an road in the north, the pile length of the bridge east of North Xin’an road is 21.5m, and line 11 of Beijing subway passes between two piles of unequal length. This paper simulates the whole construction process with the method of numerical analysis, analyzes the causes of the deformation of the bridge piles by calculation, puts forward the measures of grouting reinforcement in the whole section, sums up the deformation rules of the unequal length bridge piles, and puts forward the deformation control values, in order to ensure the safety of Rail Transit Construction, for the follow-up similar projects to provide a basis and reference.

ABSTRACTThe development of the center of the city of Semarang is very rapid, leading to the outskirts. The outskirts, which were originally used as agricultural areas, have now been converted into built-up areas, settlements, trade and services. This research was conducted in Tembalang Village, which is an educational area, new settlements accompanied by the growth of economic activity. The purpose of this study is to find patterns of economic space in suburban urban areas. Methodology Descriptive analysis research using a qualitative and rationalistic deductive approach that focuses on the environmental approach (behavior approach) and the spatial economic approach. From the results of the analysis, it is concluded that Tembalang Village has an Economic Spatial Pattern that develops along the main road. Economic activities that follow this main road route form a network pattern. This pattern of economic space is also still visible in the surrounding area. The pattern of economic space that develops on the main road corridor has a high selling value of land. Every year there is an increase in land prices, both according to NJOP, land rental prices and land selling prices. Keywords: pattern, space, economy, activity, suburbs, urban. Semakin tahun mengalami kenaikan harga lahan baik menurut NJOP, harga sewa lahan maupun harga jual lahan.Kata kunci : pola, ruang, ekonomi, aktivitas, pinggiran, perkotaan.

This study was conducted to investigate the profile and socio-economy of the Orang Asli Community in Hulu Behrang, Tanjung Malim. A total of 11 Orang Asli villages in Hulu Behrang were involved in this study. The villagers were divided into three categories, the first is near to the main road, medium to develop and the last is outside of the main road or development. The study was conducted using a set of questionnaires and respondents were selected at simple random sampling. The analysis uses percentages and is described descriptively. An amount of 369 questionnaires were answered by the respondents. The findings show that the overall location of Orang Asli villages is complete with basic facilities as they are exposed to the mainstream communities. Only in the aspect of monthly income is still low, more than 70 percent are in the hardcore poverty category with income below RM500 a month.
