In order to realize low-orbit microsatellite laser communication, L- and U-frame structures are designed, respectively, for the payload of single-lens reflex (SLR) laser communication tracking and pointing system. According to the characteristics of each load structure, the detailed system design is carried out, and the modal analysis is carried out on the key structural parts of the L- and U-frames to ensure the reliability of each load structure. The pointing accuracy of the two load structures is also calculated and analyzed. Finally, the conclusion is that both of the two load structures can meet the technical and accuracy requirements of low-orbit communication, but obviously, the U-frame structure has higher accuracy, greater pitching angle, and better reliability; eventually, the U-frame structure is adopted in this design. Then, we have completed the manufacture and assembly of the principle prototype and carried out a vibration test experiment on the principle prototype. The results show that the U-type loading structure SLR laser communication tracking and pointing system achieves the expected design purpose and can meet the technical requirements of the low-orbit microsatellite laser communication.

The paper presents an experimental laboratory study of the bioaccumulation of the toxic metal arsenic in the medicinal plant chamomile (Matricaria Chamomilla L.). The study makes a comparison regarding the bioaccumulation capacity of the chamomile plant in which arsenic is found as a unique contaminant, as well as in mixtures of 2, 3, or 4 toxic metals (Cd, Ni and Pb) on a natural soil enriched with metals, compared to the chamomile plant developed on an unpolluted substrate. The tests followed the effects of soil pollution with metals on the germination and development of chamomile. The experimental results indicated that arsenic does not bioaccumulate in the chamomile plant, remaining in the soil. The experiment that was an exception is the one with arsenic as the only contaminant (E1) in which at 90 days, the arsenic content in the chamomile plant was 3.58 mg/kg arsenic, the value that is within normal limits, below the phytotoxic value of 5 mg/kg, but was higher than that determined in the plant from the control test experiment (<0.75 mg/kg). The bioaccumulation factor (BCF) after 90 days, in all experiments, either by a combination of metals or a single contaminant had values lower than 1, indicating that the plant does not accumulate arsenic. The total chlorophyll from the results obtained indicates that the toxicity in the E1 experiment is higher than in the metal mixture.

Recent studies have revealed that memory performance is better when participants have the opportunity to make a choice regarding the experimental task (choice condition) than when they do not have such a choice (fixed condition). These studies, however, used intentional memory tasks, leaving open the question whether the choice effect also applies to incidental memory. In the current study, we first repeated the choice effect on the 24-h delayed intentional memory performance (experiment 1). Next, using an incidental paradigm in which participants were asked to judge the category of the items instead of intentionally memorizing them, we observed the choice effect on judgment during encoding and memory performance in a 24-h delayed surprise test (experiment 2). Participants judged more accurately and quickly and had better recognition memory for items in the choice condition than for items in the fixed condition. These results are discussed in terms of the role of choice in both intentional and incidental memory.

In this work, the effectiveness of removing colour and total suspended solid (TSS) from complex organic particulate artificial sewage (COPAS) via the coagulation process was studied. Organo-floc (OF), a tannin-based coagulant derived from the plant was used as a coagulant. OF was applied in a jar test experiment at the various dosages at 57 rpm for 5 min, and 30 min sedimentation time to find out the optimum dosage for colour and TSS removal. Zeta potential, pH and conductivity were also analysed. Experiment with tannin dosage of 125 ppm resulted in the highest colour and TSS removal of 94% and 79%, respectively. Organo-floc showed promising results in decolourisation and TSS removal from artificial sewage.

Abstract Under the pressure of energy and environmental protection, we will promote the technological progress and demonstration of electric vehicles, and the construction of charging facilities will continue. Charging facilities planning and orderly charging, as two major research directions of electric vehicle infrastructure, are of great significance for the future development of electric vehicles. The optimal charging of electric vehicles can effectively improve the safe and economic operation ability of distribution network, which is of great significance to its safe operation. Therefore, this paper proposes the outsourcing test experiment and processing of urban electric vehicle public charging network based on 5G and big data. In this paper, through the analysis of the development status of urban electric vehicles, this paper proposes to optimize the charging mode of electric vehicles by combining the charging network forward and backward algorithm. In the outsourcing test experiment, the electrical safety test shows that when the current reaches 1.1-37.1kw: 5000A, when the power factor is 0.8 ∼ 0.9, when the short-circuit current impact is tolerated, the connection device will not affect the breaking operation by contact fusion welding, and the insulation protection will not be invalid. Through investigation and analysis, the satisfaction degree of electric vehicle optimization algorithm is increasing year by year. Through the analysis of the test results, the research in this paper has achieved ideal results and made a contribution to the research of urban electric vehicle public charging network.

AbstractThe positivity principle states that people learn better from instructors who display positive emotions rather than negative emotions. In two experiments, students viewed a short video lecture on a statistics topic in which an instructor stood next to a series of slides as she lectured and then they took either an immediate test (Experiment 1) or a delayed test (Experiment 2). In a between-subjects design, students saw an instructor who used her voice, body movement, gesture, facial expression, and eye gaze to display one of four emotions while lecturing: happy (positive/active), content (positive/passive), frustrated (negative/active), or bored (negative/passive). First, learners were able to recognize the emotional tone of the instructor in an instructional video lecture, particularly by more strongly rating a positive instructor as displaying positive emotions and a negative instructor as displaying negative emotions (in Experiments 1 and 2). Second, concerning building a social connection during learning, learners rated a positive instructor as more likely to facilitate learning, more credible, and more engaging than a negative instructor (in Experiments 1 and 2). Third, concerning cognitive engagement during learning, learners reported paying more attention during learning for a positive instructor than a negative instructor (in Experiments 1 and 2). Finally, concerning learning outcome, learners who had a positive instructor scored higher than learners who had a negative instructor on a delayed posttest (Experiment 2) but not an immediate posttest (Experiment 1). Overall, there is evidence for the positivity principle and the cognitive-affective model of e-learning from which it is derived.
