The purpose of using the new media in the context of dakwah is an essential feature since it is the trigger for dakwah activities and the execution of dakwah is done to its target. As information and communication technology advances, zakat institutions, must capitalise on it for the benefit of Islam. In the face of the Covid-19 outbreak, zakat institutions such as the Federal Territory Zakat Collection Center (PPZ-MAIWP) are heavily using new media to teach zakat to all Malaysians. There are five potentials of using the new media towards inviting the community to pay zakat namely; further expand dakwah delivery activities, facilitate the delivery of zakat dakwah, diversify the methods of dakwah of zakat, dakwah of zakat while studying and entertaining, and defence against zakat cyber warfare. Thus, digital media has enormous potential in terms of facilitating the implementation of zakat dakwah activities in a more structured, appealing, and beautiful manner.

Despite contemporary social activities changing drastically at the turn of the twenty-first century, residential layouts have not changed. This thesis takes the position that dwellings should be designed to facilitate movement efficiency and be moulded around our daily routine. This study seeks to investigate how the contemporary dwelling can adopt Taylorism’s principals from the commercial industry, to facilitate movement efficiency in the home. The research will further look at micro architecture as a contemporary manifestation of Taylorism and use it as an architectural precedent. From the investigation, this research helped formulate a brief for a contemporary method of designing, in which the architect views the individual’s routine as a production process to be refined and optimized. The study preformed ethnographic studies on a three individuals whom wanted their home to be an instrument for their living. One study was chosen to analyze. From the study of the individual’s inhabitation, a prototype was designed around the ecology of objects used in their routine. This became a fundamental step in the brief. Once the prototype is created it was revealed that the architect would have an excellent understanding of how their individual dwelled, and therefore could use the prototype to design an efficient routine. Through the method of interrogating and stripping back the individual’s inhabitation, this process helped redefine the architect’s role and approach to designing contemporary dwelling. The dwelling created using the brief was entirely customized and facilitates every aspect of the client’s contemporary routine.

This article takes a look at the characteristics of German civilian fencing with cutting swords in the 19th century, especially the style taught by the Roux family of fencing masters. One of the most prominent members of this family was Friedrich August Wilhelm Ludwig Roux. By comparing his early work Anweisung zum Hiebfechten mit graden und krummen Klingen and his later work Deutsches Paukbuch one is able to discern some of the changes in German Hiebfechten or fencing with cutting weapons during the 19th century, in particular on the students’ duelling ground. Fencing in 19th century Germany was practiced for a number of different reasons. These included military service, physical education and the civilian duel. A particular form of the civilian duel in Germany was the student’s Mensur. The works of the Roux family naturally revolve mostly but not exclusively around thissubject as most of them were employed as University fencing masters. In the military and in physical education the contemporary method of the “Berliner Turnschule” was more popular.

Islamic Calligraphers appreciate this sacred and spiritual art and as they carried on their journey, they began to create their art by adding some inspirational verses of the Quran as well as some historical poems. The most noticeable visible feature related to Islamic calligraphy traditional and contemporary painting has to do with the complex and intricate compositions that involve the overlapping of words integrated into a unique method. Islamic calligraphy painting, through either a traditional or a contemporary method, expresses movement and dynamism through the calligraphic lines. The study reveals that the traditional and contemporary calligraphy paintings are considered as innovative art based on their unique traditional scripts, the intricate contemporary identity of the handwriting and the materials. Introduction/Objective. Body fat percentage (BFP) is the most reliable indicator of a nutritional status. For clinical practice it is important but scarcely investigated whether to exclusively use contemporary methods of BFP measurement, or classic anthropometric methods are also reliable. The aim was to investigate the correlation between the results of BFP measuring using a contemporary method of bioimpedance (Bio) and classic methods of skin fold thickness (SFT) and body mass index (BMI). Method. There were 279 patients of the Dietetic Counseling Center of the Institute for Public Health in Nis who were included in the research during 2015. Body fat percentage was determined using three classic anthropometric methods of ST over the triceps, and the scapula and BMI. Apparatus OMRON BF 302 was used for BFP measuring with bioimpedance method. Results. Using a one factorial analysis of variance we found a statistically significant difference between the mean values of the BFP obtained with bioimpedance and with anthropometric methods (F = 24.19, p < 0.05). Post hoc analysis revealed a statistically significant difference between the BFP determined with bioimpedance and SFT over the triceps and the scapula, while the anthropometric method based on BMI gave the results similar to those from bioimpedance. Conclusion. We show that the most reliable anthropometric method of determination of BFP is that based on BMI, as its results correlate best with those obtained with a contemporary method of bioimpedance.

This study aimed to find methodologies of translation and interpretation of The Message of the Qur`ān and the contribution of The Message of the Qur`ān to the development of the study of the Qur`ān. This study is library research with the inferential-descriptive method using historical, linguistic, and philosophical approaches. The primary data of this research is the translation and interpretation of the Qur`ān in The Message of the Qur`ān. The study shows that the type of translation of the book is tafsiriyyah translation with grouping some verses based on the small themes in the surah (munasabah). Asad interpreted the Qur`ān using the sequence of surah (tartib mushafi), with the analytical method (tahlili) and the style of adabi ijtima’i. The sources of his interpretation include the Qur`ān itself, the Hadis, the interpretation from the earlier scholars, asbab al-nuzul, sirah, dictionaries both Arabic and English, Bible, and the contemporary scientific theories. Through his work, Asad not only presented the translation with a strong linguistic study, but also enlivened the study on the Qur`ān studies, such as muhkam-mutasyabih, nasikh-mansukh, and the stories in the Qur`ān. The Message of the Qur’an has been written in the contemporary method and become one of the comprehensive English translations of the Qur`ān for Muslims today.
