Pest can be a serious topic in agricultural areas especially rice plantations. The pest destroys the plants before harvesting time. Because of the presence of the pest, the yield of agricultural products is decreasing. From a technical point of view, an agricultural professional should identify not only the type of pest that destroys rice plants but also overcome the pest. This research proposes a paper review on pest detection systems by using Blockchain technology and the Internet of Things involving all parties involved. The use of the review is to have a broad overview regarding the functional combination between IoT and Blockchain technologies to reduce the pest problems. Smart contract technology Blockchain may be held to determine automatic alert in the system and know how to resolve the problem accurately and all information is verified by blockchain system without a human interception. IoT devices can be attached to rice plantations to monitor, determine and send the information of the pests. Our paper explains the combination of IoT and Blockchain technologies in order to improve any possibility of success rate by getting the pests. Thus, IoT replaces human manual checking in pest identification to reduce human error. So that, the harvesting time can be increased and the agriculture yields are good. The search comparison results show that ScienceDirect has the highest search value

Sulfuration flotation is the most widely used technology in malachite beneficiation. However, the inhomogeneity of malachite surfaces usually results in a non-uniform sulfuration surface. The motivation of this work is attempt to adopt different functional combination collectors to enhance the sulfuration flotation of malachite. Accordingly, the flotation behaviors and adsorption mechanisms of benzohydroxamic acid (BHA) and sodium butyl-xanthate (SBX) on the surface of malachite were systematically investigated using flotation tests, zeta-potential measurements, Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and first-principle calculations. The test results of vulcanization flotation showed that the combined collectors of SBX with BHA possessed a higher recovery than only using SBH by 20%, indicating that there may be a synergistic effect between BHA and SBX. The IR and Raman spectroscopy demonstrated that both BHA and SBX could chemically adsorb onto the malachite surface. The density functional theory (DFT) calculation results further indicated that the combined adsorption energy of BHA and SBX was much lower than that of only BHA or SBX, which confirmed the synergistic effects of BHA and SBX on the malachite surface. This work may shed new light on the design and development of more efficient combined flotation reagents.

The purpose of the article is to present the possibility of integrating basic learning theories into the Extended Intelligent Learning System for data processing, optimization, adaptation and decision making in learning, which is based on the combination of teacher and intelligent tutor with artificial intelligence implemented, which supports the target formation, learning strategy, pedagogy and control. As a framework for the creation of the integrative model of theories, process philosophy is used, which enables a better understanding and explanation of the different paradigms and their functional combination. The article explores the strengths and weaknesses of selected theories and focuses primarily on constructivism, as numerous studies on learning theories have found that a constructive approach to learning is at the heart of many models in both traditional and digital learning in the Era of Big Data. The article explores certain influential learning theories, including the AI methods, their advantages, flaws and fields of intersection with neurosciences in terms of their application in intelligent training systems. The goal of developing the integrative model is to realize the learner's potential in personalized knowledge formation in an intelligent learning environment and to enhance the efficiency of learning.

The paper deals with the overview of fiber optic methods suitable for temperature measurement and monitoring. The aim is to evaluate the current research of temperature measurements in the interval from temperature close to 0 up to 1000°C. Since the measuring chain is a functional combination of optical methods, optical fiber properties, and other photonic elements together with control electronic circuits, it is necessary to find a suitable compromise between the chosen measurement method, measuring range, accuracy, and resolution. Optical fiber sensors can be used in cases where standard electrical measurement methods cannot be used. These may be areas with high electrical and magnetic interference or critical areas. Therefore, there is intensive development of optical and fiber optic methods based on blackbody and greybody radiation, luminescence, fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs), and interferometers.

AbstractThe colonisation of freshwater environments by marine fishes has historically been considered a result of adaptation to low osmolality. However, most marine fishes cannot synthesise the physiologically indispensable fatty acid, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), due to incomplete DHA biosynthetic pathways, which must be adapted to survive in freshwater environments where DHA is poor relative to marine environments. By analysing DHA biosynthetic pathways of one marine and three freshwater-dependent species from the flatfish family Achiridae, we revealed that functions of fatty acid metabolising enzymes have uniquely and independently evolved by multi-functionalisation or neofunctionalisation in each freshwater species, such that every functional combination of the enzymes has converged to generate complete and functional DHA biosynthetic pathways. Our results demonstrate the elaborate patchwork of fatty acid metabolism and the importance of acquiring DHA biosynthetic function in order for fish to cross the nutritional barrier at the mouth of rivers and colonise freshwater environments.
