State statistical indicators of the economic development do not include subjective factors aff ecting country’s population. So, rather optimistic assessments of Ukraine’s economic indicators contradict pessimistic moods and feelings of Ukrainian youth. Th e relevance of this study is due to the fact that the Low level satisfaction with the socio-economic situation in Ukraine and own opportunities and prospects of Ukrainian youth is the basis for the formation of behavioral guidelines, in particular, migratory moods. Th e purpose of this study is to analyze the attitude of young people to the economic environment in Ukraine, young people’s assessments of their own fi nancial situation, and the relationship of such subjective assessments to the migratory moods of young people. Th e study used general scientifi c methods and special sociological methods to process and analyze the results of the study “Youth of Ukraine 2018”. According to the survey “Youth of Ukraine 2018”, a signifi cant part of young people (88.9 %) thinks that economic situation became worse or didn’t change during last year. Youth assessments of their fi nancial situation are also pessimistic 83.3 % of young people in Ukraine assess their family’s fi nancial situation as average or below average. Th e novelty of this study is to analyze the relationship between youth subjective assessments of economic environment in Ukraine as an environment for the implementation of personal plans and intentions, youth assessments of their fi nancial situation and youth migratory attitudes. Migratory moods of young people are formed on the dissatisf action with their fi nancial situation and the economic situation in the country under the infl uence of various factors, among the main ones are the desire to improve their fi nancial situation through the desire to earn money or fi nd a job. Migratory moods of young people are manifested to varying degrees depending on their formation. Th e degree of formation of migration intentions signifi cantly depends on the real possibility of their implementation: the lower the level of material security, the more uncertain the migration guidelines. Th e young generation is a potential for the socio-economic revival of Ukraine, so its opinion, its assessments, its feelings are extremely important for the formation of adequate youth policy. Taking into account subjective factors which aff ect the behavioral orientations of young people is especially important in the formation of reasonable youth policy of Ukraine, and requires research, analysis and development of instruments based on such analysis.

Abstract Background: Native American communities in Montana reservations have reported low-level satisfaction in health services. This research explored if the services provided at a Blackfeet Indian Reservation outpatient clinic were designed to meet patient expectations. Methods: Staff and patient interviews and surveys allowed service expectations to be assessed according to the clinic’s ability to meet those expectations. A total of 48 patients and ten staff members (83% of the staff at this clinic) participated in the study voluntarily. Results: We found a disconnect between what patients anticipate for care and what staff think they are anticipating. We also found a discontent between what staff believes patients need versus what the patients feel is needed. Conclusions: These gaps combine to increase the breach between patient expectations and perceptions of their healthcare services. With better insight that captures what patients are looking for from a service, the potential to meet those needs increases and patients feel that their voice is respected and that they are valued.

In this study, we examined the effect of pay level satisfaction on individual work performance moderated by person–environment fits, namely person–job fit, person–organisation fit, and person–group fit. This study used a survey questionnaire of 297 conductors of PT Kereta Api Indonesia Persero. The study results show that pay level satisfaction has a positive and significant association with individual work performance. In contrast, person–environment fit does not affect individual work performance, as the unsupported analysis results evidence. This article concludes with directions for future research on the relationships among pay level satisfaction, person–environment fit, and individual work performance and their various implications for management practice. Keywords: Pay level, satisfaction, person–environment fit, individual work performance, conductor

Abstract The Florida Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) annually surveys clients receiving state funded home and community-based services (HCBS) to measure their satisfaction with services. Historically, the same survey instrument was used each year, to afford question-level comparisons across time. However, in 2015 internal contradictions were identified between individual-level satisfaction ratings and qualitative statements made by the respondents later in the survey. The high rates of satisfaction typical in survey responses were also contradicted by findings from a comprehensive program evaluation which revealed high percentages of clients who terminated their services and many caregivers reporting strain and varying types of personal crisis. To address these issues, the annual Client Satisfaction Survey and methodology was redesigned to be more specific regarding details about the delivery of direct services, and the sampling methodology was revised to constrain to the recipients of discreet service types. The results from these new service-level surveys will be presented for each of three direct services: case management, personal care, and homemaker. Findings revealed differences across regions in the state, and highlighted the frustration experienced by HCBS clients with high worker turnover and low training for special conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or related dementia. Complaints and suggestions collected from clients and caregivers were shared with program managers for consideration in changes to policies, training, and other areas of service improvement toward becoming more person-centered. Overall, this service-oriented approach to surveying has yielded more actionable results and has been adopted by DOEA as the preferred method for all client-level surveying.

Many firms offer employees a broad range of benefits as part of their compensation. However, little attention has been given to the extent to which firms communicate with their employees in relation to such benefits. This study proposes that benefit communication can have both direct and indirect positive effects on employees’ benefit level satisfaction. The effects of benefit communication were examined by means of a survey among 828 employees of different Spanish firms. This study hypothesized and found that benefit communication led to increased benefit level satisfaction. Similarly, this study found that benefit communication can influence benefit level satisfaction through the multiple intermediating effects of employees’ perceived organizational support and employees’ comparison of their benefits with those of referent others. These results imply that academics and practitioners must pay attention to providing adequate benefit communication in order to ensure the effectiveness of benefits.
