This paper intends to conceptualise an optimisation solution for vehicle routing that can get the best routing result and release the most optimal route to the driver, namely WeRoute. The objectives of the paper are to manage the data efficiently, save time, reduce cost, enhance customer satisfaction, and decrease the emission of carbon. Moreover, this is also known as the vehicle routing problem, which deals with a range of variables, including drivers, stops, roads, and customers. The method, Genetic algorithm, was developed to improve the efficiency of generating feasible routes for a project. A team of drivers and several stops are needed to generate the solution of optimising the vehicle routing. It can be said that the more drivers or stops, the more complicated the problem becomes, such as cost controls and vehicle limitations. Thus, a route optimisation tool slowly becomes the key to ensuring the delivery business as efficiently as possible.

Abstract PT Multi Nitrotama Kimia is a mining service company engaged in providing blasting services and the largest sales of explosives in Indonesia. PT Pamapersada Nusantara jobsite Kideco Jaya Agung is one of the customers of PT Multi Nitrotama Kimia in the blasting service business unit. On a far more optimal side, the development of commodity price conditions and operational needs is a common concern. From these conditions, one of the best target cost controls for blasting and fragmentation is to make adjustments and improvement to the quality and quantity of the use of bulk products. The high use of bulk products at the Kideco Jaya Agung Jobsite is a particular concern, especially for rocks that require a high powder factor value, thereby increasing blasting operation costs. From this condition, PT Multi Nitrotama Kimia strives to optimize the bottom value of density product emulsion MNK Max70 using chemical improvement from the previous 1.15 gr/cc to 1.05 gr/cc. This improvement has brought good results, where optimization in terms of using bulks product and blasting quality such as fragmentation and Velocity of Detonation (VOD) values are still in accordance with product standards.

This study identifies whether profit-driven or growth-driven mergers and acquisitions (M&As) are more beneficial to a restaurant firm aiming to achieve profitable growth after an M&A. The results indicate that despite the challenges that must be overcome to achieve profitable growth through M&As, profit-driven acquiring firms are more likely to have better post-M&A operational performance than growth-driven acquiring firms. Therefore, this study suggests that when restaurant firms seek to grow their business through M&As, they should pursue this goal after achieving higher operational profitability, along with better cost controls, supply management, and marketing strategies, rather than optimistically adhering to growth strategies before accumulating any internal, market-based competitive strengths.

The purpose of this study is to explore whether the ability to adjust and redistribute resources has a positive effect on improving a supply chain’s competitive capabilities. In addition, we also verify whether information transparency is an antecedent to improving the ability to adjust and redistribute resources. Finally, this study explores the moderating effects of investment cost controls and absolute dominance on the relationship between information transparency and the ability to adjust and redistribute resources. A partial least squares (PLS) analysis was the main method used in this study. The empirical data were obtained from the International Manufacturing Strategy Survey (IMSS). Regarding the research results, in addition to the relationships among information transparency, resource adjustment and redistribution ability, and supply chain competitive capabilities, our research results demonstrated that overemphasizing investment cost controls and absolute dominance will moderate the relationship between information transparency and resource adjustment and redistribution ability and further lead to weak competitive capabilities.

Community service activities are conducted with the aim of providing skills for all small-scale entrepreneurs in the field of services or owners of the rented house in order to be able to calculate the income of how much the number of rented houses they have, and depending on whether the rented house has been in accordance with the set of price included the cost of electricity and water that every month must be paid by the rented house owner. Investment in a rented house is a simple investment, but it must be managed well. Long before you decided to invest in a rented house, it is good to do a survey first. The survey was conducted to find out the gaps and obstacles in managing the rented house business. Investment in a rented house needs management and a lot of time. Sometimes persistence is the key to good home rental management. This can be seen from the opportunities that exist in the investment of house rental is still promising.Participants were trained on tips on managing routine cost controls that occurred both during business and household expenses and trainees were able to understand how to smartly manage spending, payments, and other expenses so they would not find a larger expenditure rather than income.

A vast number of studies about construction defects have been published in different countries, confirming that construction defects are a global issue. This problem often adversely affects the budgets, timing, and quality of construction projects. The lack of understanding about which construction tasks are prone to defects make implementation more uncertain and increases the chances of defects. This study seeks to identify and understand the behavior and pattern of task actions that are more prone to defects through the anatomy process of a specific task. The first objective in this study was to identify, track, and record construction defects during the execution of a number of actions within a specified task. The second objective was quantifying which actions are more prone to construction defects and determining the reasons why. Fifteen case studies were conducted on residential buildings, which included 45 items focusing on the column sub-task. Initial results suggest that some actions within specific sub-tasks are more susceptible to defects. This research aims to improve the understanding of construction defects and solutions, enhance cost controls, reduce time overruns, and improve execution quality.
