In order to achieve the purpose of improving the travel efficiency of commuters in the periphery of the city, expanding the beneficiary groups of urban rail transit, and alleviating urban road traffic congestion, when planning and setting up HOV in the periphery of the city, it is necessary to analyze the feasibility of HOV lane setting from both the demand conditions and the setting conditions. This paper combines machine learning to construct a decision-making evaluation model for HOV lane setting and studies the optimal layout model and algorithm of HOV lanes in service rail transit commuter chain. The setting, planning, and layout of HOV lanes are a two-way interactive process of traveler's path selection and designer's road planning. Finally, after the model is constructed, the performance of the system model is verified. The results show that the system studied in this paper can be used for traffic data and lane planning analysis. Therefore, in the process of urban operation, the HOV model constructed in this paper is mainly used to alleviate urban traffic and improve urban operation efficiency.

In recent years, the construction and operation of urban subways have been gradually increasing in developing countries. In the next step, more attention should be paid to the transfer efficiency between subway and bus so as to improve the travel efficiency of more urban residents. This paper uses the probability credibility interval number ranking method to evaluate the bus transfer efficiency. Firstly, this study obtains the dynamic transfer time data by matching individual smart card and subway/bus global positioning system (GPS) records, which is used to evaluate the transfer efficiency of corresponding subway stations. Then, we establish a probability density function to represent the characteristic information of transfer time. Accordingly, the probability reliability model of the order relation of interval numbers can be constructed. In the end, the method is applied to evaluate the transfer efficiency between subway and bus stations in Ningbo. Compared to the traditional interval number ranking method, the evaluation result shows that this method can get a more objective transfer efficiency order relation. The reason is that this method can not only consider the random feature of transfer time but also make use of the data distribution characteristics. This method could be applied to obtain the stations with relatively low transfer efficiency and the feedback can be used for bus line operation and station layout improvement.

The adaptability of traffic lights in the control of vehicle traffic heavily affects the trafficability of vehicles and the travel efficiency of traffic participants in busy urban areas. Existing studies mainly have focused on the presence of traffic lights, but rarely evaluate the impact of traffic lights by analyzing traffic data, thus there is no solution for practicably and precisely self-regulating traffic lights. To address these issues, we propose a low-cost and fast traffic signal detection and impact assessment framework, which detects traffic lights from GPS trajectories and intersection features in a supervised way, and analyzes the impact range and time of traffic lights from intersection track data segments. The experimental results show that our approach gains the best AUC value of 0.95 under the ROC standard classification and indicates that the impact pattern of traffic lights at intersections is high related to the travel rule of traffic participants.

Aviation is the transportation that is chosen by many people to support their mobility and travel efficiency. In order to maintain comfort for users of aviation transportation, the operation of flights and their supervision is regulated directly by the national transportation unit system in an integrated and systematic manner. This study aims to examine the legal arrangements for passengers who carry dangerous goods on flights and reveal criminal sanctions against passengers who carry dangerous goods on flights. This study was designed using normative legal research, with a legislative and conceptual approach. The data used are sourced from primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials obtained through reading activities. Then analyzed using literature study. The results of the study reveal that legal arrangements regarding passengers carrying dangerous goods on flights are regulated in detail and firmly in Law No. 1 of 2009 concerning Aviation, Government Regulation No. 3 of 2001 concerning security and safety in flights and the sanctions given to perpetrators who carry dangerous goods are: imprisonment for 2 years and a fine of Rp. 500,000,000

In recent years, a new mode of transportation, referred to as “shared commuter buses,” has been introduced, which can considerably reduce the dependence of office workers on private cars and relieve urban traffic congestion, but is not widely used owing to efficiency issues. Improving the efficiency of shared commuter buses was set as a goal, and in this study, several research objects were selected to optimize the driving routes of shared commuter buses. The problem of stop location is combined with dynamic route optimization; the “shortest walking distance” model is established to select the most appropriate location for stops. The vehicle routing problem model and “key point updating strategy” are employed to plan routes with real-time traffic information. Finally, we conduct an empirical study to validate our conclusions. The results show that both the model and algorithm are reliable and effective; thus, travel efficiency can be effectively improved and traffic jams can be alleviated.

Rational and orderly passenger organization in subway station can improve travel efficiency and safety. How to improve the efficiency of security check, which has a significant impact on the passenger organization, to reduce passengers staying time in the terminal level has the potential to improve service satisfaction. The Weidong Station of Line 1 of Nanchang Metro was selected as the research object. Anylogic software was used to simulate the process of arrival, ticket purchase, security check, gate-crossing machine etc. The results indicate that the dynamic adjustment of security checkpoints and fast passage for passengers without luggage can improve the security efficiency and relieve the congestion in the station hall.

In the era of technological advances, tourists will first seek information about the tourist object to be addressed, even tourists often don't have a destination, so they have to search one by one via the internet. In determining travel plans, it is often to see one by one the review of tourist attractions and conclude the results will take a long time, while tourists need actual and fast information to determine the travel plans. In this study, the authors take a new approach, namely by creating a mobile-based travel planner system that compiles travel plans automatically by considering contextual information related to tourist location points, whether of tourist locations during travel days, travel opening and closing hours, so that it will increase travel efficiency without having to do the research manually which takes a long time. The system can also provide travel recommendations based on visitor comments sentiment on Google Places and is equipped with a trip route that will be generated automatically. This research is useful for helping tourists plan their trip actually because of the consideration of contextual information so that it will make it easier and save tourists time.

Due to contradiction of large-scale passenger demand and limited transportation capacity, the passengers who cannot be transported away in time accumulate and congest in stations. To ensure travel safety, improve travel efficiency, and ameliorate waiting environments for passengers, this paper proposes an adaptive multilevel collaborative passenger flow control strategy integrating the control of station entrance and station hall. An integer linear programming model is constructed, which aims at minimizing the total passenger waiting time and taking the safe capacity of each key area of all stations as the necessary constraints. The model is applied in two scenarios with different scales of passenger demand in the morning peak of the Batong line. The results show that the proposed model can adaptively activate the appropriate control level, limit the amount of accumulated passengers in each key area of the station within its safe capacity, and shorten the total passenger waiting time.

This paper presents an analysis of exploitation parameters for naval propulsion plant at different operating regimes. For naval propulsion plant with internal combustion engines, is considered as independent variables which give its operating regimes. Functional parameters of analysis of navigational regimes considered representative of the operation of the ship. Propulsion of the ship is provided by a fixed pitch propeller that allows modification propulsion performance by adjusting a single parameter function: speed propeller.
