In 2019 in Wuhan city (China), is was outbreak about a novel coronavirus, causes an infections respirator, in children and adults, and is new condition was call for COVID-19. The present study being about herbal medicines and their correlation with diseases on respiratory tract basically COVID-19. To date, there are no studies showing how Ginseng Radix cooperated with the prevention or for to treat coronavirus diseases, so the aimed the present study was a to analyze in literature about this. The aim is to observe the correlation about the Ginseng Radix as a future treatment in novel coronavirus. The present study is a fruit of a review integrative of literature, where the keywords was search in databases Pubmed and Scielo.org, the keywords (Herbal medicines, Ginseng radix and Coronavirus infections) are presents in DeCS. The herbal medicines are famous alternative therapeutic for the treatment a most diseases, when used the herbal medicines for various diseases, being diseases cardiology, immunology, and too tract respiratory. The use for the herbal medicines is a secular practice, and we found a most popular, but is present study is about the ginseng radix. Ginseng is an herbal medicine derived from the root of the panax, and your use is described since the first millennium, your properties are preventing many diseases, including cancer, hypertension, and others, described in the literature. The Ginseng radix is an herbal medicine be used in the treatment for the children and adults, the problems for the tract respiratory, and exists a guideline specific for the herbal medicines and the use in clinical practice.

Patients with precancerous gastric conditions are at a high risk for gastric carcinoma. The Chinese medicine Weifuchun (WFC) is used in treating chronic superficial gastritis and in postoperative adjuvant treatment of gastric cancer. Both monotherapy and combination therapy of WFC with other drugs can result in a favorable therapeutic outcome. WFC can dramatically improve clinical outcomes in patients with gastric precancerous lesions by targeting multiple pathways including pathways involved in the pharmacological action of Radix Ginseng Rubra (red ginseng), Rabdosia amethystoides, and fried Fructus Aurantii, including regulation of NF-κB, RUNX3/TGF-beta/Smad, Hedgehog (Hh) and Wnt signaling pathways, modulation of the expression of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, and indirect inhibition of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) by maintaining gastric microbial ecosystem. In this review, we will discuss the clinical efficacy and therapeutic regimen of WFC for gastric precancerous lesions and the molecular mechanisms involved. This review will highlight WFC-based therapeutic strategies in disrupting progress to gastric cancer and provide more information on the pharmacological mechanisms of WFC and its clinical application for the treatment of precancerous gastric lesions.

Ginsenosides Rh1 and Rg3, as the main bioactive components from Ginseng, are effective for prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Sheng-Mai-San (SMS), a classical complex prescription of traditional Chinese medicines, is composed of Radix Ginseng Rubra, Fructus Schisandrae, and Radix Ophiopogonis. In this research, a sensitive and specific liquid chromatography-mass spectrometric method was developed and validated for stereoselective determination and pharmacokinetic studies of 20(R)- and 20(S)-ginsenoside Rh1 and 20(R)- and 20(S)-ginsenoside Rg3 epimers in rat plasma after oral administration of Radix Ginseng Rubra or SMS extracts. The main pharmacokinetic parameters including Tmax, Cmax, t1/2, and AUC were calculated by noncompartment model. Compared with Radix Ginseng Rubra, SMS could significantly increase the content of ginsenosides Rh1 and Rg3 in the decocting process. Ginsenosides Rh1 and Rg3 following SMS treatment displayed higher Cmax, AUC(0–t), and AUC0–∞ and longer t1/2 and tmax except for 20(R)-Rh1 in rat plasma. The results indicated SMS compound compatibility could influence the dissolution in vitro and the pharmacokinetic behaviors in vivo of ginsenosides Rh1 and Rg3, suggesting pharmacokinetic drug-drug interactions between ginsenosides Rh1 and Rg3 and other ingredients from Fructus Schisandrae and Radix Ophiopogonis. This study would provide valuable information for drug development and clinical application of SMS.
