This paper presents implicated factors in the success of e-learning platforms and online laboratories of experimenting from two different aspects of view: technical engineering aspect and scientific research aspect. These presented factors are categorized according to different levels: educational level, pedagogical level, technological level, service providing, marketing and management. Furthermore, this paper presents how to enhance the cybersecurity of e-learning platforms and online laboratories of experimenting whereas defining the technical characteristics and financial criteria to choose hardware and software products to concretize this cybersecurity

Fast-ions confinement is a prominent subject in developing nuclear fusion reactors due to its importance in sustaining the burning plasma and keeping energy production. However, confining them has proven to be difficult until now, and one of the reasons is that the inherent discrete magnetic field produces a magnetic ripple. A better understanding of fast-ions transport using appropriate numerical calculation tools needs to be developed to overcome such a challenge in the engineering aspect. This study revisited data collection of fast ion transport simulated under the ripple presence in a nuclear fusion device. The ion trajectories were followed using two orbit-following equation schemes, and the ripple-resonance island size in the Poincaré section was compared. The result showed that the island size obtained by each scheme was different when the particle resonates with a stronger ripple field and, proportionally, the diffusion coefficients are different. The physical meaning and consequence behind this discovery were discussed in this paper.

The article covers the aspect related to the assessment of the efficiency of truck operation in safety engineering aspect for the management of supply chain security. The publication contains an analysis of the functioning of a selected transport company. The concept of operational efficiency of truck was defined with taking into account the standards of the European Union. The essence of securing the delivery process in a selected example of road transport was also presented too. Then, an assessment and forecast of the efficiency of the truck operation was made with the possibility of safe delivery of goods. In order to solve the problem, a research hypothesis was determined and selected theoretical and empirical methods were used to determine the correlation between the efficiency of truck operation and securing the supply chain, supported by the science of safety engineering.

Brownis home industry “ollanda” is a new bussines that was founded with is own capital, which is equel to Rp 28.028.000 . The produck produced in the form of brownis with various flavors. This study aims to determine the level of investment of a home industry  brownis “ollanda” which is lacated Jl. HR. Soebrantas Panam No. 73D, Tuah Karya, kec. Tampan, Pekanbaru City, Riau 28291. This research was conducted in February 2020 with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and dokumentotion. The methods used are market and marketing aspect, engineering aspect and production aspect . organizational and management aspect as well as financial aspect with investment feasibility calculation in the form of payback period(PP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate  of Return (IRR), and Profitability Index( PI). Market and marketing analysis shows that the prospect of the “ollanda” brownis home industry is quite good, seen from the increasing number of requests every year. Technical analysis of production show that the lacation of the home industry is close to settlements making it easier to recruit workers. Analisis of organizational and management personal show that bussines oners have carried out management functions well.

Mess (disorder)—there are many different meanings related to this problem. The explicit majority comes from the area of philosophical, social and medical sciences. In our paper, we try to present the engineering aspect of the concept of disorder. We propose a mathematical model which describes the effects and consequences concerning the process of making the mess. We use Multi-Agent Modeling, where there are several independent agents with decision-making ability. Each agent has the ability to communicate and perceive for achieving its own aim. We use square grid n × n with objects which can be moved by agents to another places. The degree of disorder of the system is examined by the value of entropy. Using computer simulation, we investigate the time needed to find the desired thing in an environment in which agents (in real life, people) co-exist and they have different tendencies to tidiness. The cost of mess is counted as the number of attempts to access the object in the analyzed system and the time needed to locate the object.

Abstract In this review it is presented the insight of challenges faced by all branches of industry in the new age, and especially the maritime industry, strive for sustainable development, better energy control, use of materials with functional properties such as shape memory, all in the direction of increasing safety and comfort. Therefore, the development of new materials with shape memory, which is associated with the introduction of optimized production and the achievement of better functional properties. This leads to new applications in different systems and possible use on devices, which meet the rigorous requirements of the modern industry. The research into new materials with shape memory effect and their applied use in maritime is a challenge that many researchers have encountered in recent decades, and this is why in this paper we look at the basic engineering aspect of these materials and their current as well as future applications in the maritime industry. An overview of several innovations that testify shape memory effect and superelasticity in different maritime fields will be presented in this review.
