Abstract Air Conditioning are major contributors to energy consumption in-suite room Santika Hotel Yogyakarta. A suite room is a choice of rooms with the best facilities compared to other rooms, so comfort is one of the services that must be optimized. The ain is to determine the conduction heat load of various components in the room. Heat conduction load calculation includes heat load through the glass on the east 1253.18 BTU/hr, conduction heat load through the wall to the south 606.14 BTU/hr, solar radiation through glass 1268.48 BTU/hr, heat gain from people 1980 BTU/hr, electrical equipment/lights 2193 BTU/hr and heat gain from ventilation 13053.6 BTU/hr. The total amount of heat gain used in exergy analysis calculation with a value of 3053.16 BTU/hr.

Abstract Find out the force of the structure wooden framework is one indication in determining the dimensions of compression chord, tension chord, diagonal chord, and vertical chord. The value of each chord force is the main requirement in the planning dimension and joints connections in the structure planning of the wooden framework. Analysis/calculation of each of the chord forces in the wooden framework (tension chord, compression chord, vertical chord, and diagonal chord) using a method of joint and Structural Analysis Program (SAP-2000). Wooden framework span is 7 m, (α) = 30°, and the number of compression chord is 6. Results of the two methods will show the value of each of the chord force structures, the value of the chord force compared to see the accuracy of the structural analysis program. Analysis and calculation found the ratio of maximum and minimum value for each chord force using a method of joint and structural analysis program are 0.15 and 0. Based on research results, a Structural Analysis Program (SAP-2000) can be used to design and analyze a wooden framework, to simplify and save time in planning the structure of the wooden framework.

Gross Regional Domestic Product is as the amount of value-added (add value) that are generated by the entire production unit or in a region or the entire amount is the value of final goods and services produced by the economy of the entire unit within a region in a given period, either on the basis of rates in force or on the basis of constant prices. One GRP District of Kebumen is a sector of trade, hotels and restaurants which is an important part of the calculation and the increasing economic growth each year has increased, although not significantly. On the trade sector, the hotel and restaurant viewed from the results of analysis calculation on equation trend for certain years have elevated the quality of the year 2008 amounting to 583, 253.02 in 2009 amounted to 651, 473.61, then increment level trends in2010 719, 694.20, while for the year 2011 for the highest rate of increase in trends, namely of 856, 135.38, then in 2012 has increased the trend 355.97 924, and 2013 for trends 992,576.56.The result of the analysis of the Gross Domestic Product has increased fromKebumen Regency, trade, hotels and restaurants on the basis of the applicable rates in 2008-2013.

Determination of hazard identification and risk assessment on the company can not be separated from the calculation of the cost budget. The aim is to provide recommendations and calculate the profit rate using the Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA) method so that the company will more easily determine the most appropriate and needed alternative in the company. From the incremental analysis calculation, an alternative solution and value obtained from BCA are gas detector H2S B / C ratio 1.14, crane certification B / C ratio 3.66, welding helmet B / C ratio value 5.53, wire rope B / C ratio value of 5.19, O2 detector value of B / C ratio 6.11, small handtruck value of B / C ratio 18.1, fire dry chemical powder B / C ratio value of 22.27, N2 gas detector value of ratio B / C 1.53.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Metro. The method that will be used in this study is a true experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted by 22 students of class VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Metro even semester as samples. After receiving treatment using the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model, student learning outcomes have increased seen from the comparison in the pretest and posttest evaluations, namely students who achieve KKM in the pretest evaluation are 27.27% or 6 students from a total of 22 students. While the students who achieved the KKM in the posttest evaluation were 68.18%, namely 15 students from a total of 22 students. This is evidenced again by the calculation of data analysis using the Simple Linear Regression formula obtained = 55.5505+ b = 0.3183 so that Y = + bx is( Y) =55.5505+0.3183x and the analysis calculation that t_hitung> t_tab which is seen at a significant level of 5%, namely 2.90 > 1.72. And at a significant level of 1%, namely 2.90> 2.53. Which can be seen in the table G statistics. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted. So it can be concluded that "there is a positive influence of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Metro in even semesters"

A culvert is a hydraulic structure constructed to increase the water carrying capacity away from highway and buildings in the environment. Culverts have received less attention over the years because they are not highly visible, even if they have sufficient performance. Culverts offer much smaller investment options compared with bridges and in many cases they have replaced small bridges. Culverts are also less hazardous in the case of failure. This study brings together results about several variables of culverts including optimum dimensions, shapes, materials and inlet configurations. During culvert design, hydraulic testing was required for sizing of structures, where risk analysis calculation has been performed regarding the probability of inadequate capacity of culvert design to pass floods. The failure probability is estimated using the advanced first order second moment (AFOSM) method. Therefore, the methodology ensures the design of the hydraulic structure fulfills the required role, while minimizing its future effects in the environment.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the inventories of the production enterprise and determine the directions of its development strategy. The methodology consists in the use of the following methods: grouping and comparison of indicators in the implementation of horizontal and vertical analysis, calculation of deviations by years; methods of coefficient analysis; generalization of the obtained results. The scientific novelty of the work is to improve the analysis of the production enterprise. Conclusions. The analysis of the activity of the production enterprise showed that one of the leading fields of the food industry of Ukraine is the bakery field. The researched enterprise constantly introduces new technologies into production, as a result the need for quantity of materials decreases, therefore material consumption decreases, and also quality of production increases, new markets are mastered, etc. Keywords: analysis, analytical procedures, production enterprise, profitability.

AbstractIn this paper, we explore a rationalistic orientation in Western society. We suggest that this orientation is one of the predominant ways in which Western society tends to frame, understand and deal with a majority of problems and questions – namely in terms of mathematical analysis, calculation and quantification, relying on logic, numbers, and statistics. Our main goal in this paper is to uncover the affective structure of this rationalistic orientation. In doing so, we illustrate how this orientation structures the way not only individuals but society as a whole frames and solves problems. We firstly point towards some exemplary instances of the rationalistic orientation, specifically regarding science, society, and lifeworld practice. Crucially, we argue that the rationalistic orientation is not merely based on a set of beliefs we could easily correct; but rather, that it is an affective condition tacitly shaping our engagement with the world in an encompassing way. Relating to the work of Martin Heidegger, we argue that what we have called an orientation in the beginning is in fact a rationalistic attunement. This attunement fundamentally shapes the pre-reflective level of how individuals approach the world. We elaborate this claim by showing how the rationalistic attunement concretely manifests in tangible socio-material affect dynamics. In the end, we motivate a critical stance towards this attunement, providing the ability to reflect upon and question instances where this way of framing and solving problems is counterproductive.
