The small eye movements in the process of fixation on an image element give us knowledge about the human visual information perception. An indepth analysis of these movements can reveal the influence of personality, mood and mental state of the examined subject on the process of perception. The modern eye tracking technology provides us with the necessary technical means to study these movements. Nevertheless, still a lot of problems remains open. In the present paper two approaches for noise cancellation in the eye-tracker signal and two approaches for microsaccade detection are proposed. The analysis of the obtained results can be a good starting point for interpretation by neurobiologists about the causes of different types of movement and their dependence on the individuality of the observed person and the specific mental and physical condition.

The paper deals with modern aspects of terminology in film industry. The paper aims at the study of the linguistic and extralinguistic levels of film terminology in the professional dialect of filmmakers and general strata of the language. The broader context of the film discourse viewed as a complex communicative issue requires simplified understanding among professionals, as well as during interaction between filmmakers and cinephiles. The author believes that there are two sources of film neologisms, connected with the appearance of new artifacts and adaptation of cinema terms in the interpretative discourse. The method of continuous sampling from modern cinema magazines provided a copious terminological material, which was afterwards studied by means of stylistic, word-building, and axiological analysis. The material demonstrated that modern film industry uses several ways of terminologisation, thus diminishing the distance to the general spoken language. They include simplification, abbreviation, imagery, string terms, holophrasis, blending, and rhymed terminological units. The new means of terminological innovation revealed a trend to conserve the term’s meaning while rendering the term with the additional meaningful or image element, which would facilitate its comprehension in intense communication. The means of terminological innovation were aimed at increasing simplicity, aesthetism, beautification, and irony, as well as invigorating dead imagery, expressing a new concept, and creating euphemisation. The determinologisation of the semantic sphere of cinema was supported by multiple examples and revealed great public and scientific interest to this sphere, indicating continuous productive innovational processes in cinema terminology.

Pendam III/Siliwangi dalam menjalankan tugas adalah menyampaikan informasi secara benar dan profesional. Memberikan tanggapan yang simpatik manakala ada suatu informasi yang dianggap dapat merugikan citra positif Kodam III/Siliwangi. Selain itu sebagai institusi yang sekaligus agen informasi, bertugas mengolah informasi, mengelola informasi, baik untuk pihak internal maupun eksternal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi yang dilaksanakan oleh Pendam III/Siliwangi dalam meningkatkan citra positif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kerangka berfikir atau landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu menggunakan teori strategi yaitu formulasi misi, tujuan dan objektif dasar perusahaan, program dan kebijakan untuk mencapainya dan metode yang diperlukan untuk memastikan bahwa strategi di implementasikan untuk mencapai tujuan-tujuan perusahaan. teori citra di dalamnya terdapat jenis-jenis citra (mirror image, current image, wish image, multiple image). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa strategi yang dilakukan Pendam III/Siliwangi yaitu melaksanakan program-progam kegiatan dalam rangka untuk meningkatkan citra positif. Dalam meningkatkan citra memperhatikan unsur citra yaitu (mirror image, current image, wish image, multiple image) sebagai acuan meningkatkan citra positif. Pendam III/Siliwangi in carrying out the duty is to convey information correctly and professional. Provide sympathetic responses when there is information that is considered to harm the positive image of Kodam III/Siliwangi. In addition, as an institution as well as an information agent, in charge of processing information, managing information, both for internal and external parties. The purpose of this research is to know the strategy implemented by Pendam III/Siliwangi in improving the positive image. The research method used is qualitative study method. The data collection technique in this research is done by interview, observation and documentation. The framework of thinking or the theoretical basis used in this research, which is using strategy theory is mission formulation, objective and basic objective of company, program and policy to achieve it and method needed to ensure that strategy implemented to achieve company goals. image theory in it there are types of images (mirror image, current image, wish image, multiple image). The result of this research shows that the strategy of Pendam III/Siliwangi is to carry out activities programs in order to improve the positive image. In improving the image pay attention to the image element that is (mirror image, current image, wish image, multiple image) as a reference to improve the positive image.

The interaction of an electron beam with chalcogenide films As4Se96 has been studied. The kinetics of the formation of an electron-induced surface relief in the dose range 9,3 · 103–9,3 · 107 мC· cm−2 is established. The parameters of the interaction of a film As4Se96 with an electron beam are calculated. It is shown that the observed point of inversion of the shape of the electron-induced relief can be caused by the crossover of the surface potential. The process of manufacturing the image element by the single-step lithography is realized on the surface of an As4Se96 film.

The subject of research in the work is a model of the formation of species images in systems for processing geospatial information. The purpose of the article is to improve the model of formation of species images in systems for processing geospatial information, which will take into account the shortcomings of existing models of formation of species images. The advantages of obtaining and application of geospatial information are given. It has been established that in systems for processing geospatial information for various purposes at different stages, data of various types are processed, however, they are structurally isomorphic - geospatial information structures. To solve the problem of representing heterogeneous software engineering technologies in a unified form, convenient for their integration and coordination within the general cycle of software systems design, the mathematical apparatus of category theory has recently been used. The existing models of the formation of species images in systems for processing geospatial information, their disadvantages and advantages are considered. The considered mathematical model of the formation of a view image in general form can be presented as a result of the action of an operator performing the transformation of coordinates and operators determining the brightness of the corresponding image element for a given element of the earth's surface in the spectral channel. An improved model of the formation of species images is proposed, which simultaneously takes into account the transformation of geospatial coordinates into image coordinates and the transformation of brightness due to the properties of objects on the earth's surface and the processes of the passage of solar radiation in the atmosphere, provides the possibility of correct processing and analysis of species images in geospatial information processing systems.

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  pengaruh parsial dan simultan elemen gambar, elemen huruf, dan elemen warna DKV desain Box Art Game pada story line video game. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survey eksplanasi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 151 responden gamer yang diperoleh secara on line melalui media sosial face book. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan acak sederhana dengan cara mengupload kuesioner ke jaringan grup media sosial gamer face book. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan telah diuji terlebih dahulu validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Persamaan regresi linear dengan menggunaan SPSS diperoleh:  Y = -1,029 + 0,305 X1 + 0,05 X2 + 0,250 X3 + e. Melalui pengujian  hipotesis diperoleh bahwa ada pengaruh parsial elemen gambar (X1) dan elemen warna (X3) terhadap story line (Y) diterima, sedangkan pengaruh elemen huruf (X2) terhadap story line (Y) ditolak. Pengaruh simultan elemen gambar (X1), eleman huruf (X2) dan elemen warna (X3) terhadap story line (Y) diterima.  Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis maka dapat disimpulkan variabel elemen gambar dan elemen warna berpengaruh dalam menjelaskan story line video game. Elemen huruf tidak berpengaruh dalam menjelaskan story line video game. Dalam penelitian ini elemen gambar memberi pengaruh paling besar terhadap story line dengan koefisien regresi 0,305. Secara simultan elemen gambar, eleman huruf dan elemen warna berpengaruh menjelaskan story line video game sebesar 44%.Kata Kunci: desain, box art game, elemen.AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of partial and simultaneous image elements, letter elements, and color elements DKV design Box Art Game on the video game story line. This type of research is an explanatory survey. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire with a total sample of 151 gamers who were obtained online through face book social media. The sampling technique uses simple random method by uploading questionnaires to the network network of face book gamers. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The research instrument used was tested for its validity and reliability. The linear regression equation using SPSS is obtained: Y = -1,029 + 0,305 X1 + 0,05 X2 + 0,250 X3 + e. Through testing the hypothesis, it was found that there was a partial effect of the image element (X1) and color element (X3) on the story line (Y) received, while the influence of the letter element (X2) on story line (Y) was rejected. The effect of simultaneous image elements (X1), letters (X2) and color elements (X3) on story line (Y) is accepted. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the variable image elements and color elements are influential in explaining the story line of video games. The letter element has no effect in explaining the story line of video games. In this study the image element gives the most influence on the story line with a regression coefficient of 0.305. Simultaneously drawing elements, elements of letters and influential color elements explain the video game story line by 44%..  Keywords: desain, box art game, elemen.

The study of the metaphor in a literary work can be used to find out the author’s creativity in utilizing words to concretize an abstraction through the use of metaphor. Because every human being is essentially unique, each author is assumed to have his/her own style in creating metaphors. The two questions in this article are: 1) how is the typical form of metaphor in Layla Majnun as the embodiment of creativity? ; 2) what is the function of the use of metaphor in Layla Majnun? Based on the analysis of data, a metaphor can be classified into a phrase, clause, and sentence. At the phrasal level, position or location of the image element can be either in the beginning or in the end of the topic. Meanwhile, at the level of the clause and sentence, image elements are always in the end of the topic. This latter sequence is possible because the clause part of the “explained or described” is filled syntactically by the predicate. The predicate in Indonesian is predominantly located after the subject. The study of the use of metaphor in Layla Majnun leads to the conclusion that the creativity of the author in creating metaphor reflected on how human (the author) sees the world. Because human perception is inseparable from the environment in which the author lives, develops, and interacts, the use of metaphor in Layla Majnun reflects an overview of the social life, values of culture, and customs of the Arab people at that time.
