The aim of the present paper is to test intensity attenuation relationships for subcrustal earthquakes occurred in Vrancea (Romania) seismogenic zone in relation with some important dams situated in extra-Carpathian area. During centuries, the Romanian territory has been shaken by strong earthquakes, most of them being centered within Vrancea Zone, which is situated at the bending area of the South-Eastern Carpathians. Most of the zones from extra-Carpathian area are affected by the subcrustal seismic events, where many hydro-technical structures exist, being also exposed to earthquakes action. A detailed analysis of the intensity attenuation laws developed for subcrustal seismic sources was performed using the most recent and complete intensity datasets. We use an extended and combined intensity data including historical and modern, qualitative and quantitative data, i.e. a number of 11 earthquakes occurred during the period 1738-2009 with epicentral/maximum intensities ranging from VII-X MSK degrees, and magnitude Mw from 5.4 to 7.9. All the input data used for testing are resulted after the reevaluation and evaluation of the macroseismic effects produced by the seismic events included in the present study (8697 IDP). The selected attenuation laws were tested for different values of epicentral intensity and with reference to twelve and twenty four azimuthal directions. Besides the testing of the relationships, isoseismal maps based on the selected attenuation laws were accomplished, associated to the biggest possible earthquake (worst scenario) for the Vrancea subcrustal zone, also highlighting the calculated intensities in the selected dam sites. Brief description of the study and used methods. Brief description of the study and used methods.

The article is devoted to the improvement of quark product biological value in order to impart the properties adequate to specifity and nutrient status for the group of population with abnormal carbohydrate metabolism. Diabetes comprises the most widespread chronic diseases in the world. The reason for the number of diabetic patients growth bears the complex character but this growth is conditioned mainly by malnutrition. Correctly chosen diet adequate to the level and character of metabolic disorders is the important prophylactic factor. Milk products among which quark and quark products due to high amount of easily digestible protein are very Important in nutrition of the patients suffering from abnormal carbohydrate metabolism. The marketing analysis of this group nutritive value presented in the marked has been carried out. The obtained results show that the manufactures quark products are characterized by low amount of crude protein (from 4.5 to 6.0%) and high carbohydrates content ( from 13,0 to 18.0%) including sucrose (from 7,5 to 12,0%. One of the main requirements to dietetic therapy of the patients suffering from diabetes is drastic restriction and exclusion from food allowance easily digestible refined carbohydrates. The aim of the work is to improve biological value of the quark product by replacement of sucrose by stevia and enrichment it by whey protein. Among sugar substitute of natural origin is stevia, which besides the ability to reduce sugar possesses the wide spectrum of positive physiological impact on the body. The influence of milk components on the expressed after-taste of stevia and the possibility to level it has been studied. It was stated that protein has no impact on stevia after-taste but milk fat partially levels metallic taste and promotes the test intensity. It was stated that the best product organoleptic indices were fixed after introduction of 0.027% of stevia. Milk proteins are food irreplaceable components and mainly whey proteins characterized by high biological value conditioned by their specificity and balanced amino acid composition. But meanwhile commercial samples of quark products contained not more than 0,05% of whey proteins . The possibility to improve the biological value of the product by enrichment with whey proteins has been studied.

Manual annotation of sentiment lexicons costs too much labor and time, and it is also difficult to get accurate quantification of emotional intensity. Besides, the excessive emphasis on one specific field has greatly limited the applicability of domain sentiment lexicons (Wang et al., 2010). This paper implements statistical training for large-scale Chinese corpus through neural network language model and proposes an automatic method of constructing a multidimensional sentiment lexicon based on constraints of coordinate offset. In order to distinguish the sentiment polarities of those words which may express either positive or negative meanings in different contexts, we further present a sentiment disambiguation algorithm to increase the flexibility of our lexicon. Lastly, we present a global optimization framework that provides a unified way to combine several human-annotated resources for learning our 10-dimensional sentiment lexicon SentiRuc. Experiments show the superior performance of SentiRuc lexicon in category labeling test, intensity labeling test, and sentiment classification tasks. It is worth mentioning that, in intensity label test, SentiRuc outperforms the second place by 21 percent.

I examined the stability of emotional expression in 18 toddlers aged 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years using laboratory observation. The children were presented with 5 social stimuli. Their emotional expressions were video recorded and later behaviorally coded by 2 independent raters. Average latency, intensity, and duration scores for emotional expression for each child were calculated at ages 1, 2, and 3 years and compared using Friedman's test. Intensity of emotional expression in the children showed stability over the 3 years; no significant differences were found between ages 1, 2, and 3 (χ2(2) = 1.78, p = .41). Additionally, based on parental questionnaires for each year, from 1 to 3 years of age intensity, mood, activity, approach, and adaptability were 5 dimensions of temperament that showed stability.

Anaerobic characteristics of preadolescent asthmatic and nonasthmatic males were measured using the accumulated oxygen deficit (AOD) on 10 asthmatics (mean age = 10.9 years) and 10 nonasthmatics (mean age = 11.1 years). Subjects ran to exhaustion at speeds that were 110% and 130% of their V̇O2 peak. Mean AOD values for 110% and 130% were 53.23 ± 4.02 and 50.60 ± 2. 81 ml · kg−1, respectively, for the asthmatic children’s and 51.59 ± 2.66 and 47.04 ± 3.44 ml · kg−1, respectively, for the nonasthmatic children. There were no statistically significant differences in anaerobic characteristics measured by AOD values (p > .05) between intensities and groups. FEV1 data revealed that there was no bronchoconstriction occurring in either group under either of the test intensity conditions for up to 15 min postexercise.

A re-examination of the 19F(n,γ)20F reaction has been conducted in which several factors were selected for optimization. These included sample purity, high statistical precision and hence sensitivity, sufficient energy precision and resolution to permit confident application of the Ritz combinational method, and efficiency calibration to test intensity balance in a meaningful way. The results obtained, besides increasing level-energy precision, revealed the likely existence of a new level and failed to agree with some aspects of earlier studies. The degree with which direct capture plays a role in this reaction was also explored and found to account for 35–50% of the 9 mb capture cross section. The neutron separation energy was found to be 6601.36 ± 0.05 keV, based upon the mass scale. A new level, forming a doublet with that at 3587 keV, was inferred to be at 3590 keV.
