AbstractAccreditation in accordance with the international General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories (HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard) has become a widely accepted method of quality management and objective evidence of technical competence, knowledge, and skills of testing and calibration laboratories. In 2010, the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health (IMROH) had its management system accredited against the HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard for the following scopes: determination of radioactivity, testing of ambient air quality, and testing in the scope of ionising radiation protection. This accreditation encompassed three laboratories: Radiation Protection Unit, Environmental Hygiene Unit, and the Radiation Dosimetry and Radiobiology Unit. In accordance with the rules of the Croatian Accreditation Agency, the second re-accreditation is due in 2020. This paper describes and discusses the quality management system at IMROH over the ten years of its implementation. We share our experiences about non-conformities discovered during regular work, internal audits, and external audits performed by the Croatian Accreditation Agency. The accredited management system significantly improved the performance of the accredited units, and the Institute increased its visibility and marketing advantage, consequently improving its market position.

Objectives: Molecular oncology (GO) is a discipline that focuses on the diagnosis, staging, prognosis, and management of cancer with the help of molecular genetics. Increasing understanding of the molecular changes that drive tumor progression has transformed the treatment of this disease. The main goal of this study was to describe the current situation in India regarding the knowledge, attitude, and practice of molecular oncology through an online survey of oncologists. All of the respondents were interested in the accreditation of the reports and authorizing agency accrediting them. About 68.9% of the practicing oncologist did not have any provision of molecular oncology tumor board. 82.4% of the oncologists reviewed with the molecular pathologist for discussion of the molecular reports. On the contrary, 58.1% of the oncologist never received any information from the reporting team about the patient clinical details, follow-up, or changes in the reports ever. About 79.7% of the prescribing oncologist were interested in remuneration in any form for prescribing such tests. About 27% of the oncologist were not aware of any accreditation agency available in India for molecular oncology reports. Product Quality Assurance (PQA) is a standard procedure to ensure product quality in practical manufacturing engineering. In this study, the PQA-procedure will be applied for academic assurance in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Sriwijaya University. The objective of this study is to generate web-based Academic Quality Assurance (AQA) in the Department, which accomplices with the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT). The development of web-based AQA was carried out using an open- source PHP, MySQL, CSS, and REST API to ensure web integration with the existing website of Sriwijaya University. The results show that this application can overcome the current problems when the Academic Quality Assurance was conducted manually. The AQA web can work smoothly.

A comprehensive analysis of the concept “sector”, as one of the main components of the certification area of a specialist in non-destructive testing (NDT) in accordance with the requirements of the international standard EN ISO 9712, was carried out. Features and differences of the lists of sectors regulated by regulatory documents that establish the requirements for certification of NDT personnel are considered in the voluntary (DSTU EN ISO 9712) and legislatively regulated (NPAOP 0.00-1.63-13) areas of Ukraine. The features of the areas of accreditation of Personnel Certification Bodies (OSB) in the field of non-destructive testing of Ukraine and some countries of the European Union are considered. The analysis of sectors with which non-destructive testing personnel is certified was performed. Personnel certification bodies accredited by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (NAAU) and national accreditation bodies of the Great Britain, Germany and Nordic countries in accordance with the requirements of the international standard EN ISO / IEC 17024. The differences in product and manufacturing sectors regulated by the standard EN ISO 9712 and established by the areas of accreditation of PCB in the field of non-destructive control of Ukraine and selected European countries. The basic principles are stated in accordance with which an additional (national) sector should be created. On the example of the analysis of differences in the production sectors “production” and “control before and during operation, including production” according to EN ISO 9712, various aspects of non-destructive testing that affect the criteria for the formation of additional (national) production sectors were considered. The possibility and appropriateness of introducing national sectors into the certification procedures of Personnel Certification Bodies for non-destructive testing in Ukraine are considered.

Universities need a quality evaluation process based on the standards of the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) every year. Therefore, it is necessary for universities knowing the students to evaluate and to maintain the University's Education Efficiency Number (AEE). One of the standards that has been determined by BAN-PT is the quality of students that can be seen from the GPA, the accuracy of completing studies, thesis, path admission, and others. The purpose of this study is to provide information about the quality of students based on SNMPTN and SBMPTN admission with data mining techniques using RapidMiner software in the application of the C4.5 algorithm and using the research method of the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRIPS-DM). The results of this study were students who has graduated of class I quality was 46% from the SBMPTN path admission, 28% of the SNMPTN path admission, and class II category was 11% from the SBMPTN path admission, and 15% from the SNMPTN path admission. The results of accuracy obtained in decision tree modeling got an accuracy value of 97.46% with an error value of 0.98% and the value of Area Under Curve (AUC) of 0.973 with an error value of 0.014 which is classified into a excellent classification.

At a national and international level, governments have advanced all-hazards readiness and implemented disaster management systems within multiple industries, services, and sectors. This scope included public health agencies and healthcare providers, whose roles evolved in purpose and expectation within their respective communities, but their core mission remained unchanged. Real-world emergencies and disasters routinely challenge hospitals and affirm that healthcare providers must be prepared to provide, sustain, and expand critical services during times of crisis. This study reviews emergency management (EM) and disaster preparedness programing specifically within hospitals and healthcare systems to assess overall effectiveness. Analysis includes a review of existing program administration literature and regulatory and accreditation agency standards. Initial findings suggest ongoing efforts are needed nationwide to improve hospital EM capabilities and enhance the resiliency of American healthcare infrastructure. Identified gaps include limitations of pertinent research, inconsistent program evaluation metrics and processes, and hindering perceptions of profession role and purpose. Recommendations are provided to refine the traditional hospital EM profession and advance overall program administration competencies, as well as considerations for future research opportunities.
