Abstract This paper examines the state alternation in Kabyle, arguing that state is the morphological realization of Case. The free state is accusative case, and the construct state is nominative case. Taking morphological patterns and syntactic distribution into account, Kabyle is found to be a Type 2 marked nominative language. Both states, or cases, are morphologically marked. The free state is the default case. This analysis accounts for the bulk of the distribution of free state and construct state nouns, and situates Kabyle as belonging to a typologically rare alignment system that is concentrated in Afroasiatic and African languages.

This study aims to determine and analyze the medical record storage system on the effectiveness of patient care at the Cikole Public Health Center. The research method used is quantitative with inferential statistical analysis techniques. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and questionnaires. Cikole Lembang Public Health Center is one of the first level health care facilities. Based on observations, the storage system used is a regional storage system in which each region starts from the first digit. There are 2 officers who work in the medical records section of the Cikole Public Health Center. With the storage system used, there are several shortcomings, namely the occurrence of misfiles and duplication. To find out whether there is an analysis of the medical record storage system on the effectiveness of the service, the author gives a questionnaire to the Cikole Public Health Center officers. The results of the questionnaire also show that the highest percentage level is found in item no.7, namely the decentralized storage system is in accordance with the target of 71%. Then the second is item no. 8, namely a decentralized storage system that allows the provision of medical record files on time by 61%. From the results of interviews with medical records officers, suggestions and input were given: (1). The storage system used was changed to centralization so that the alignment system was not duplicated; (2). The use of bindex as an additional tool to make storage neater and easier.

Abstract Shaft misalignment is a common fault in rotating machines in the industry. Inadequate coupling alignment of rotating shafts often results in serious vibration problems and premature machine component failure. This article introduces the concept of using a laser shaft alignment system to improve equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and reduce rotating component wear. This paper explores the concept of implementation of laser shaft alignment system on rotating machines in the Bulla field, Platform 6. For this purpose, an appropriate tool has been selected for further implementation. As compared to a traditional mechanical method, the proposed electronic approach has more accurate results and optimize the performance gained via the previous techniques. Additionally, the application of the proposed system is user friendly and faster compared to the previous method. The measurement procedure is issued as per system manufacturer recommendation, and manufacturer video training will be submitted to appropriate maintenance staff. The novelty of the approach is to increase the reliability of rotating machines on Platform 6 in the Bulla field and develop Company maintenance processes by implementing a new laser measurement system.

Abstract The article is devoted to the actual problem of developing effective means of control and charging level alignment of the vehicle hybrid power unit (HPU) accumulators. A description of the automatic control and charging level alignment system of the battery pack for hybrid power unit developed by the authors, while simultaneously controlling the temperature of each battery, the originality of which is protected by patents of the Russian Federation, is provided. The device is distinguished by the simplicity of the circuit design, its own low energy consumption and potentially low cost. To check the efficiency of the proposed device the computer simulation and experimental study were carried out. As a result of the provided multifactorial experiment, a regression function was obtained, which allows, by the value of the obtained coefficients, to reveal the degree of inhomogeneity of the monitored batteries in terms of electrical parameters and the temperature of influence, as well as to take into account the effects of pair and quadratic interactions.

Abstract This paper employs phylogenetic modeling to reconstruct the alignment system of Indo-European. We use a data set of categorical morphosyntactic features, which take states such as ‘nominative-accusative’, ‘active-stative’, or ‘ergative’. We analyze these characters with a standard Bayesian comparative phylogenetic method, inferring transition rates between character states on the basis of a phylogenetic representation of the languages in the data. Using these rates, we then reconstruct the probability of presence of traits at the root and nodes of Indo-European. We find that the most probable alignment system for Proto-Indo-European is a nominative-accusative system, with low probabilities of neutral marking and ergativity in the categories lower in grammatical hierarchies (nouns, past). Using a test of phylogenetic signal, we find that characters pertaining to categories higher in hierarchies show greater phylogenetic stability than categories lower in hierarchies. We examine our results in relation to theories of Proto-Indo-European alignment as well as to general typology.

There is no denying that Bioinformatics is one of the most important realms for our forthcoming development. As a demonstration of this fact, a plethora of new algorithms that were published over the last decade. Those significantly boost up the processes of biological analysis, especially for DNA alignment. Despite their undeniable contributions, it is still far more to state that DNA alignment has already achieved the ideal performance. In this work, we focus on the DNA alignment system which is based on our improved BWA-MEM algorithm that we have already published. Besides that, we also propose some optimization methods which was applied in order to improve the performance as well as the stability of our entire system. The system offers a speed-up by 46.52x when compared with the other computing platforms.
