It shows searching for a solution to the issue of the stock rebuilding of the Red List species — the Sakhalin sturgeon. It describes the results of the expedition to the Tumnin river aimed at brood fish procurement and optimization of the technology for its reproduction together with the brood fish grown in aquaculture. It lists the morphological characteristics and fish-cultural and bio-data of the spawner caught in the Tumnin river and the milters grown at the Anyuy Sturgeon Fish Hatchery. A method for the obtainment of reproductive products, hatching and juvenile fish growning is described. As a result of sampling for biopsy, it has been found that the coefficient of oocytesʼ nucleus polarization was 7.4 on the average. The hormonal preparation surfagon was used for sex products stimulation at males and a female. The female ovulated in 12 hours after permitting injection. It was managed to get 2,378 g eggs on the average 87.6 per cent of fertilization. The average ejaculate volume was 455 ml. The spermatozoon mobility at mean 14 °C temperature made up 208 sec. A double fertilization method was used at fertilization of an eggs part, moreover the eggs received were of a high piscicultural quality (99%). The average diameter of swollen eggs was maximum 6.8 mm and minimum 6.6 mm after fertilization. The larvae production made up to 30%, i.e. 27,850 of incubated eggs. 1000 ongrown fry were stocked into the Tumnin river, the last juveniles were directed to fish cultural farms of Russia with a view to form there recruitment-and-brood stocks. According to results of experimental works, done in the Anyuy Fish Hatchery, the first provisional technology of work was recommended on fertilized eggs production from the Sakhalin sturgeon spawners after the schema “a wild female + farmed males” by a method of a double fertilization with the increased exposition time.

Normal menstrual cycle is an important physiology for maintaining woman’s health status during reproductive stage. Any type of abnormality in normal Rituchakra (menstrual cycle) cause menstrual disorders, which are the main reasons for gynaecological consultations in worldwide. Hypomenrrhoea is a common menstrual disorder found in present era due to changes in their life style like restlessness due to stressful day to day routine and strain due to their work place environment. A 24 years old Muslim married (since 2 years) patient present with the complaints of scanty menstrual flow (Duration-6days, No. of pad used-2pad 1st day not fully soaked then 1 pad/day not fully soaked) and lower abdominal pain (++) with pain and burning sensation during coitus for 1 year. In Ayurveda it can be correlated with Artavakshaya due to their strong symptom equality. Ratio of Artavakshaya is rising in present gynaecological practice which may leads to cause infertility and other serious problems which are untreatable. In modern science they prescribe only hormonal preparations as a treatment. Many patients observe some adverse effects with reoccurrence of problem when hormonal preparation stops so they prefer to take Ayurvedic preparation for it. Hence, Shatapushpa Churna is selected for the case study which has Agneya properties, Kapha Shamaka & Aacharya Kashyapa also quote it as Ritupravritani.

Abstract Background Gestational gigantomastia is a rare and debilitating condition that is thought to result from hormone hypersensitivity. Several definitions have been proposed using breast weight and change in body mass index, but the breast growth is best summarized as rapid, diffuse, and excessive. Case We report a case of a 31-year-old woman with a history of infertility and cystic fibrosis that developed pathologic breast growth during hormonal preparation for in vitro fertilization. Her serum laboratories were unremarkable, and she was medically managed until 31 weeks of gestation. After delivery, she experienced rapid decrease in breast size and was followed by plastic surgery with plan to allow spontaneous regression with interval breast reduction Conclusion We highlight a successful interdisciplinary medical management approach, which helped to avoid a morbid, intrapartum breast reduction.

This study was carried out by selecting a total number of 17 Holstein Friesian cows divided into two main groups, the first group (4) cows as donors used to take the embryos from after artificial insemination and the second group (13) heifers cows as recipients for embryos. The same techniques were used on donor and recipient cows for the purpose of hormonal preparation in terms of instance synchronization, preparing recipient cows and superovulation for donor cows. Artificial insemination were done in field, and a nonsurgical flushing procedure embryos applied then graded. Donors reflected a good response to superovulation hormonal treatment. The total number of transferable embryos was 13 from four donors. Evaluation of all embryos was excellent quality. The pregnancy rate results for recipient cows was 61.5%. This result is an acceptable as compared to previous studies due to many factors, the study aim was taking into account all these factors, that can have an influence on these programs to obtain genetically improved animals in a shorter time and lower costs.

The objective: was to evaluate the possibility of using mifepristone (Gynestril) as a hormonal preparation for conservative myomectomy. Patients and methods. The effect of a three-month course of mifepristone (Gynestril) at a dose of 50 mg per day on the dynamics of clinical indicators, ultrasound, the results of surgical treatment in 30 women of reproductive age with uterine leiomyoma was studied. Results. The use of an antigestagenic drug for preoperative preparation led to a decrease in the incidence of pain syndrome, dysfunction of the pelvic organs in most patients. The presence of amenorrhea in 90% of women contributed to the normalization of hemoglobin. The positive dynamics of the mioma nodes sizes and the uterus made it possible to reduce the time of operative intervention and the volume of intraoperative blood loss. Conclusion. The use of antigestagen preparations, in particular mifepristone (Gynestril), for the purpose of preoperative preparation, allows obtaining the most positive result of organ-preserving treatment of uterine myoma in reproductive age women. Key words: leiomyoma of the uterus, reproductive age, preoperative preparation, mifepristone, Gynestril.

Modern methods of treating infertility in men with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) are considered. The prognostic factors of successful sperm production by invasive manipulation on the testicles are analyzed. The aspects of hormonal preparation of patients with NOA before surgery are considered. Identification of additional hormonal factors such as follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), inhibin B in serum and seminal plasma allows more accurately predict the outcome of microsurgical testicular sperm extraction (MicroTESE). A high level of FSH is not a contraindication for microTESE in men with NOA. Neither the FSH level nor the testicle volume are associated with the effectiveness of the operation, moreover is observed an inverse interrelation. The advantages of microsurgical technique of performing the operation and its effectiveness are considered.

In the second part of the review, devoted to treatment of azoospermia by micro-TESE in program IVF/ICSI, there were considered issues of hormonal preparation of patients with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) prior to the course of GnRH, chorionic and menopausal gonadotropin treatment. Sperm retrieval efficiency increases after stimulation of spermatogenesis 6 months. Identification of additional factors such as FSH, AMH, and Inhibin B in blood serum and seminal plasma can provide more accurate prognosis of the outcome of micro-TESE. High level of FSH is not a contraindication for microsurgical sperm retrieval in men with NOA. Neither level of FSH nor testicular volume is related to the effectiveness of operation. Molecular genetic markers of residual spermatogenesis (ESX1, VASA and CLU genes) can serve as predictors of successful sperm retrieval during micro-TESE in patients with NOA. In the review there were also considered advantages of microdissection technique, technique of operation performance (including embryological stage of detection of spermatozoa in testicular tissue), and efficiency of micro-TESE depending on pathological patterns and complications after surgery.
