Curves number 2 and 18 on Manggarai - Jatinegara cross are part of cross in DAOP (Operation Area) 1 Jakarta area. The reliability of an arch in its role in the operation of the railway is important even be a major factor. Therefore, perfection in care is absolute and a major requirement of a condition where the arch can be said to be reliable. But not all arches have the same elevation value as the calculated result. Thus it required an analysis of the level of care arch the arch reliability. From the results of secondary and primary data analysis then obtained data related to the condition of curve number 2 and 18 cross Manggarai - Jatinegara still not good in terms of changes in arrows and rail elevation. Calculation and analysis of data used dilihiat in terms of curved geometry conditions that is curved radius, transverse arch, rail elevation, ideal curve graph conditions and human resources managers. After analyzing the data and then compared with the existing standard, the implementation of curved treatment has been said to be only just not maximal, it can be suggested that it needs to be maintained treatment of the curve condition continues with the inspection in accordance with the provisions and immediately repaired the curved geometry is lacking, Arch back to normal and do maintenance by using the MTT machine at the time of treatment at night so that the implementation of the treatment is more suitable as expected and also did not happen trial and error.

This chapter follows Deleuze’s metaphor of the Baroque House, which runs throughout The Fold, from the lower level of matter and organisms, to the upper level of reasonable souls. It shows how Deleuze uses concepts from Paul Klee to present a new theory of singularities or singular points as points of inflection or folds. Inflection gives us a topological model for understanding the inclusion of predicates within individual monads. The chapter then turns to the most complicated theme of the book: the ideal curve or Fold which Deleuze locates between the two levels of the Baroque house itself. This Fold separates matter from souls, while simultaneously relating them to each other: in Leibnizian terms, they are really distinct but inseparable. What is actualised in individual monads is thus simultaneously realised in matter. Deleuze turns to Mallarmé to explain this complicated relationship between the visible and the intelligible.

Utilizing the EMR-8B eye-tracker system, the pupil changes of eight drivers were monitored when they drove through 26 typical highway tunnels. Based on the test results, the driver’s pupil areas and pupil illuminance were found to be in a power function relationship at tunnel entrances. Furthermore, a quantitative relationship between the pupil area and its critical velocity was established, and the ratio of pupil area’s velocity in relation to its critical velocity was used to evaluate the lighting transitions and to establish the ideal curve of pupil illuminance at tunnel entrances. The results demonstrated that the relationship between the pupil illuminance of the tunnel entrance and the driver’s pupil areas conforms to the Stevens law found in experimental psychology; severe pupil illuminance transition within the range of 10 metres of the existing highway tunnel entrances, which results in great visual load, is in urgent need of improvement.

at present, the product quality that tire building machine presses tire is not ideal. The phenomenon that the tread isn’t pressed solidly often appears. Through analysis, the main reasons of this problem are those the actual rolling curve doesn’t accord with ideal curve enough, and roller pressure is unstable, pressure fluctuations are large. Therefore, ensuring the basic structure of institution is unchanged, this paper adopts optimization technique to calculate the size of planar linkage institutions and determine the best design result. It makes the moving point from the planar linkage institutions accord with tire section curve best. The article cites example of the engineering design, demonstrating the superiority of the new design method fully.

In this paper, a novel linearly tunable MEMS capacitor with high tunability is introduced. The characteristic air gap-voltage curve for an ideally linear tunable capacitor is studied. This curve is considered as a target for new designs. A three-structural layer process is used to develop the capacitor. The actuation and sense gaps in the three-plate capacitor are selected in such a way that for a voltage interval (between zero and pull-in), the gap-voltage response for sense electrodes becomes similar to the ideal curve. The resulting capacitance-voltage response of the new design demonstrates a combination of high linearity and tunability up to 250%. For processes which have fixed layer thickness and the sense and actuation gaps cannot be optimized, the design is modified by adding nonlinear springs and asymmetric geometry. The results of numerical simulation for a capacitor designed for PolyMUMPs process verify the improvement of linearity and tunability.

New railway vehicle concepts with broader and shorter carbodies necessitate new running gear concepts. One of the possibilities, the single-axle running gear, offers several advantages. The disadvantage of the conventional single-axle running gear during curving can be counteracted with a simple coupling between the single-axle running gears of the neighbouring carbodies. This paper presents parameter analysis and design principle of the coupled single-axle running gears. They can be constructed for an almost ideal curve negotiation in a great range of curve radii. The coupling of the running gears not only improves the running characteristics in a curve but also increases the stability limit. Bombardier Transportation Winterthur has developed the coupled single-axle running gears called FEBA. The test runs with prototype as well as with serial running gears in the Norwegian commuter train Class 72 have fully confirmed the anticipated running characteristics.

Abstract To apply the database-oriented process control design concept to intelligent stamping processes of various shape products, the extension of the concept was required. The application of FEM simulation for production of the “ideal curve”, which plays an important role in the system, was proposed. The fuzzy adaptive controlled variable blank holder force (BHF) circular-cup deep-drawing system with the new ideal curve was developed. Through the implementation of the system for cup height improvement, the availability of the concept is confirmed. As a result, the potential application of the concept to the stamping processes of various shapes is suggested. In addition, using the experimental results, the influence of the BHF history on the thickness reduction behavior is investigated. An algorithm for cup wall thickness uniformity based on the BHF historical effects is proposed and the feasibility of the algorithm is verified.
